What you are doing to her is not going to help her at all if any of her bones are broken, it will only cause her a lot of pain and make it worse!! Perhaps before doing that you should X-ray her bones!!
It makes me sick that VO could have done something way before it got this far. They sat there(followed) and video the whole time she was being tortured and decide to do something when it's too late for her to have life. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope you have nightmares of being dragged around by Kayla and her cries!!!

I agree. They prefer to keep on making vídeos, where monkeys babies are mastreares, then help them to be rescued on time to survive.
There was no way they could get it away from Keyla. The troop would have attacked them. Big sis is just an animal and didn’t know any better since she hadn’t even had her own baby herself. The problem was that the VOs were feeding them and that was the worst thing they could have done. They were also feeding other monkeys in that area so they created a bad situation. It was a competition for the food…and the smaller ones always take the worst of it and have to wait to eat. When you start tossing out the food they get very aggressive and competitive. If they had not fed them they would have foraged all day and slept all night. By having to rely only on foraging, Keyla would not have held so tight to Kaya and they would been surviving more naturally with the little scrounging around foraging all day as well. Keyla would have dumped Kaya long before. Eliminate the competition of free food and there’s nothing to fight over. And all that food they give these monkeys….makes them hyper and crazy. Nobody should be feeding those animals.

I don't think her leg is broken. I think she is paralyzed. Like one other person said, she can only really move her left arm. She doesn't seem to be in any pain while he is moving her leg around. If it were broken sje would surely cry out. This poor baby has a serious spinal injury! JT, RN

I love this little monkey, I kept hoping that someone would help her earlier and none of this would have happened. It was just awful what her sister did, I felt for Kaya, my heart sank into my stomach and my eyes filled with tears. None of this should have NEVER HAPPENED if it was caught early.

Она не МОГЛА выжить с такими травмами с тем уровнем ветеринарной службы в той стране. Снимают её ни в какой не клинике, не лечат там макак, относятся как к вредителям, постарайтесь уяснить это.

I think they put her to sleep because she was completely paralyzed. There was another video where she’s getting a shot and the next video she’s dead. You can’t rehabilitate and set free a paralyzed monkey. She also had a dislocated right arm from the shoulder socket. That one you could clearly see the bone sticking out and there’s video of that injury when Keyla yanked her off a pilar and pulled the arm out of the socket. That’s why she had her right fist clenched in the last few videos with Keyla. She also had head injuries from having her head bounced off the ground when she was dragged several times. I think they just euthanized her because the injuries were too numerous, she’ll always be paralyzed and she could never be set free back into that park. That’s what happens when people feed these animals….they get crazy.

Her shoulder hurts when you move it, she cries in pain. But i don't think she could feel her back legs. We had a kitten that had to be put down, because of an injury like this. On the way to the vets office. Our kitten kept trying to drag its self with its front legs. But couldn't move its back half if body. It wasn't in much pain, because it was paralyzed.

История этой обезьянки очень печальная. Это случилось два года назад . Обезьяна мать умерла .Осталась малышка Kaya и ещё её старшая сестра .Пока была жива обезьяна мать ,она очень оберегала малышку от сородичей ,от подростков ,не позволяла старшей обезьянке обижать сестру.А когда матери не стало.Старшая сестра схватила малышку и сначала как бы оберегала . А потом у неё дикий азарт появился ,она скакала с ней везде ,не подпускала к еде.Потом начала её кусать и истязать. В процессе мучений малышки ,присоединялись и другие обезьяны ,тоже обижавшие её.Выхватить её из лап мучительницы не получалось. Когда приманивали едой ,старшая обезьяна выхватывала из рук и убегала вместе с малышкой. Старшая прыгала по малышка ,переломала косточки ей.Одну часть туловища парализовало у неё. Когда её удалось забрать у старшей.Малышка уже была такая как вы видите в ролике. Ей сделали рентген ,ставили уколы ,но она погибла .
