I got the drop exclusive with black blade and bead blast handle. It’s awesome but came with some lock stick, hopefully it will work in and go away. We’ll see.

Awesome choice! Try wiping off the lock face and add a little graphite or sharpie to help the stick 👍

@@NocturneKnives yup, that’s what I did, and used this ptfe powder for model trains that Bryan Winters from Winterblade Co told me about. It’s about 50% what it was, and will probably break in further.

Hopefully the Chinese manufacturers catching up to Spyderco's heat treating quality will lead to Spyderco catching up with the Chinese manufacturers thin grinding.
I don't have any Bestechs, but all of my Reate, WE, and Maxace models are quite a bit thinner bte than my Spydercos.

Oh agree 💯! Always wish spyderco would grind a little thinner. At least they usually use a pretty thin stock thickness. But yeah, Bestech grinds really thin I'm honestly always impressed. And my most recent sharpening experience with a Bestech (Arcane Preytheon) the steel felt nice and hard 👍
