What if I told you that you could very easily and very quickly farm THREE completely different trials SOLO from ONE SINGLE chest, AND while not fighting a SINGLE BOSS… and yet… get that final boss loot of weapons and jewelry???

Farm select sets from Aetherian Archive, Sanctum Ophidia, and Hel RA Citadel in MINUTES, all from a single chest that is ALWAYS there, EVERY TIME.

This farm is easiest with a Sorc because of the Streak skill, but can also be done on any class with vampires Mist Form skill. No Sorc or Vamp? Well it can still be done with a decently upgraded mount, but can be challenging.

The Craglorn Trials (Sanctum Ophedia, Aetherian Archive, and Hel Ra Citadel) all have a shared loot pool that includes Eternal Warrior, Infallible Mage, and Vicisou Serpent.
The trials also have their own unique loot pools;
Aetherian Archive for instance has Defending Warrior, Healing Mage, and Quick Serpent.
Sanctum Ophedia has Immortal Warrior, Twice-Fanged Serpent, and Wise Mage.
Hel Ra Citadel has Berserking Warrior, Destructive Mage, and Poisonous Serpent.

I gave the mist form about 5 attempts off of the branch, started trying with the mount but used twisting path on NB, then mounted, didn’t jump before I fell off the branch but with major expedition, I went straight across.

No problem! Long before the channel (and still quite often) I was mostly a solo player as well!
I spent 2 days collecting the "infallible mage" set (planned to replace the duelist set with it) and was disappointed to find that there was practically no difference. That is, you can use an exploit, risk a ban - but there is no point in doing this. I am sad.

Wondering, did you try this with the « Faun's Lark Cladding » mythic? It prevents mobs from attacking you. I reckon it might be useful in this instance.

Wee Update. Have got full set of Infallible, Lightning Staves With Head, Shoulders, Chest, Gloves & Feet all dropped with Divines ... That was pure luck but I'll take it 😁
I have been running this Naked ... Gear Up for Twin Atros but do the rest Naked to save on repairs -- I am a poor CP300 ...
Building 3-4 sets for alts outta this and not even grinding that hard.
Plus all the small lockboxes have a chance for recipes and loads of other Prov mats -- superb grind!

You can also utilize streak jumps to make the jumps easier
On that second jump make sure to walk foward and then use teleport ability, dont go as far as you can on the branch
Found that if you put the cursor right over the middle of the downward slope of the rock where you usually have to jump on after streaking over there, you can actually streak right on top and don't have to worry about jumping on it...just make sure your cursor is completely above it otherwise you'll hit the rock and have to try and jump on top of it

I don't have a arcanist just yet, but i wonder if their skill passage between worlds would work for this stunt🤔. Casts on ground for 7 seconds, min range 12 meters, max range 22 meters, radius of 3 meters. This particular morph allows allies to use 😊
For the second chest you showed, coukd you use a warden and a companion?
Havent played warden in a while so someone else woukd have to confirm. But could you not use frozen gate to tp your companion on that legde, then use natures grasp/vines to pull youself up after?

I'm hoping I can find way to do this to get roaring opportunist two are with spell Power Cure and Symphony of blades so I can have the necessary stats for your average healer while I do a bit more of a RP healer build planners are temporal Mage who restores people not through necessarily actually healing them but rewinding time on them itself! If not been getting ruined opportunities going to be a bit annoying but you know! 😁👍
So I've been able to bypass the first jump by aiming higher and to the point where I want to ultimately land. (Using Bolt Escape I)

I see you have a lightning visual effect on your gauntlets how did you get that and do I need to be a high level before trying to get it and also atm I’m a sorcerer class if that has anything to do with it
Yes that is the Sorc skill called “Surge”.
Looks like a nice doable trick, but after 30 tries I only got 1x onto the tree, 2x on the rock. Took me about 45mins to get this far. Tells me I should stick to the vHRC.

Aim slightly to the left. Also, leave yourself a small bit off tree branch room BEFORE the “T” so that you can be moving forward slightly BEFORE you streak. That way when you come OUT of streak you will still be moving forward with that momentum.

So, it took me 18 tries to make that first jump … and haven’t made it again since. I am sure I’ll get better at it, but that long run back to the chasm is sure a drag.
ZOS won’t nerf this. Not too many folks will have the patience to perfect that jump!
Yeah it was a learning curve for me as well. But now, on my Sorc, I can pretty much get it every time! 💯
Yeah I get to that rock easy af....but the jump from the rock to the tree....idk.
My guy doesn't jump high enough, and if I slightly move he just falls off. This is frustrating....lol 😂
That said, I have gotten lucky a few times and simply streaked directly on top of the rock, so there's that.
@@irishsage2459 That’s happened to me, too. Right now I’m having more success playing on normal, burning down the Atronach and scooping up his goods. Then I go to the Jumps and die 80% of the time.
My hope is that by the time the Atro stops dropping unique curated goods I will have mastered the Jumps and can go after those remaining rings and weapons contained in those chests.
Only then will I increase the difficulty to veteran; I just cannot kill that Atro on vet playing solo in a reasonable amount of time.
You sure you don't want to just join a pug group in Craglorn for the normal trial? They're really easy and fast. You'll get all the drops but in blue; and the ones from bosses are curated so you won't get repeats until the set is complete.
im trying to do this while not in a group and it isnt refreshing the instance when changing from vet to normal and back to refresh the chest, is there something im missing to be able to keep doing it?
Adding and removing quest desnt fix it either, the vitality counter in the corner stays at the same as well
Maybe this is that 5-10 minute timer deal. This is why being in a group is best, for that instant reset. If you insist on going in solo however, you might want to travel out and wait about 5-10-minutes before even traveling back in. This is actually a pretty well discussed goofy dungeon mechanic across all dungeons and resets.

The first jump is no sweat whatsoever (after trying it a few times).
But for some reason I cant use mist form from the tree to the other side, it just jumps like 1 meter and then I fall to my death. Happened over 15 times now, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here.
I know it is! Check out the 11:29 mark!
If anything, use must form for the first jump. And then for the jump off of the tree, use the Mount method!

On the last jump I always seem to come up short. Like at best I end up like a meter or two short.

If so, make sure you are already moving forward BEFORE you streak so that when you come OUT of streak you are still moving forward with momentum.

What is the rng of the chest? I got 3x simple and 1x intermediate on Vet even though I have Treasure Hunter selected in champion points.
Only intermediate had an item from the trial sets. Also those two atronachs never dropped anything from the sets, killed about 10 so far. Am I missing something?
If you’re on Vet, you are not able to get a chest lower than “Intermediate” level. So I would definitely double check and make sure you are going in on Ver every time.
Unless there is some sort of bug issue that I can’t comment on. As far as the adds drop rate of set items it is extremely low. Probably %1 to %2. So if the Atros ever drop a set piece you’re actually extremely lucky. As a matter of fact I wouldn’t even be messing with killing them if they weren’t necessary for the door ahead to open.
It's not possible to get simple chests in vet, so I'm guessing you're not in vet.
I can't explain it then. I only ran vet. Atronachs are fairly easy but long ass fight when DPS is not very high, so I'm sure I was in correct mode.
I had to reset with 5min intervals (no team), ran it 4 times. Will test again. Hopefully it's not my bad luck, but my stupidity.
Edit: Ran 8 more times. 6x Intermediate, 1x Advanced, 1x Master. No drops from adds. I don't think Treasure Hunter does anything for me.
At least no more Simple-type chests. ^^

I actually did the first trial in the video solo, killed all before the boss but had no chance with the boss alone, didnt know about the chest so I went out empty handed😂🙈

Intermediate chest didn’t drop me any trial sets. Also I died at the chest and couldn’t respawn. “Wait till battle is over” had to leave instance and join back.
I think the respawn thing was a glitch. Got to it a second time with not set piece. I don’t have enough cp (301) to get to treasure hunter. Looked it up and saw trial sets aren’t guaranteed. Thinking thats my problem.
Hey :) did u ever think about a timebending shadow assassin build? Obv nightblade with psijic powers infused. Dont know if it would be somehow viable but it sounds like much fun! Wandering through the shadows to backstab your targets just to "rewind time" after it to remain a true stealthy boy :D

I do believe update 39 caused the trial sets to drop seperately, meaning you won't get other gear sets than AA gear in that trial.
I don't know if it affects chests.

I cannot get the trial to reset. I entered on normal, walked through the first door until the steps went on fire, exited and reentered on vet and it was still my original run.

I didn’t have the body pieces so it is fine until I get them all.
Go outside, do "5min timer" in google, come back. Voila, reset.

Either they broke this, or I just suck very bad. Had to die at the chest to break aggro... or so I thought. got locked in "waiting for combat to end" as a solo run. Logged out and back in. Missed the jump and again waiting for combat...
I’ve had this happen before as well. A weird bug sometimes. But they did not fix it yet!

It shouldn’t do that.. I would double check that it absolutely was on Vet. And then if it was, remember, you still have to “reset” the dungeon before you go back in. I hope that helps!

Died 40x, but managed 1 boss kill and 2 chests.. I managed to get that 2nd jump down but man, that tree jump for some reason(death).

Yeah, players were banned a few years back for doing exactly this in Maw of Lawkaj.
Each to their own, but if you've put in hundreds, or thousands of hours of progress.... not worth it tbh.
This looks like it could take longer than just farming the trial with 12 people
It takes time and effort to organise a reliable vet group, especially for fast farming. Count that time and energy in, when comparing.
We don't all have a dozen friends or guildies who can and are willing to jump on at specific time.
Not to mention some just prefer to play solo.

Also, crag trials are pretty easy, and easy to get groups to go into. You could probably just get a pug group with a little less effort and get all of the drops.

I hear that as well Felix! Definitely wouldn’t be necessary if you’re always rolling in trial groups! But as easy as it gets once you get used to the jumps, it’s at least a cool option for the lone wolves out there! And there’s always something fun about breaking the rules!! 🤣🤣

I don't know. Maybe this depends on a server, but I've wasted many weekends in Craglorn, both looking for group and trying to start my own, to run Craglorn trials, and no one wants to run them. I even joined a "trial" guild and left it because only certain people ever ran trials and they were very cliquish and didn't allow outsiders in, and they only ran Sunspire and KA.
Pugging takes a ton of effort and you can waste days trying to get a group. Not easy at all, at least THESE trials. (PS5)
@@irishsage2459 I understand. I’m PS5/NA. I suggest browsing the guild directory and giving a few a shot. There’s always some guilds that are Brutish, but there’s also plenty that are full of nice people who feel the same way you do about running content. I definitely recommend joining a few and seeing if you can find one that fits you. It’s not a big deal if you find one that doesn’t fit, just leave it and try a different one.

Im only getting intermediate chests. After a dozen runs, no gear yet
There should be gear in Intermediate chests, especially if you have the “Treasure Hunter” CP point (green tree) slotted. If you are on Vet setting then you will always get Intermediate level and above (Advanced and Masters). But if you are going in on normal then you could get “Simple” level chests and very often they don’t have ANY gear at all on them.
Just double check you are on Vet, that the chests are indeed Intermediate level or above (not simple), and that “Treasure Hunter” is slotted in your green CP tree.

So, if ZOS finds out about this and nerfs it, they are the biggest nubs.
It took me 17 failures to get the first jump, around 30(6 successful) more to find and learn about all possible kinks,.. and then after 30(12 successful)more jumps i can say i've mastered it.
Now let me tell you, even if you do everything the same sometimes you will fail.
I think it would be easier to just log on my dk, switch to pve tank gear and do the damned trial...
Imo ZOS should add these kind of time consuming and hard "exploits"(challenges) for solo people in all trials. This s*it is haaard dude, and time consuming, not to mention frustrating.
P.S. i have to buy a new keyboard now,.. maybe the mouse as well... 😢

@@bminturnit was fun back in the day to look for things like this in trials. You used to be able to get all the chests and cheese the final boss in vmol and you could bypass virtually all of vdsa . I’ve spent too much time doing this stuff 😂

I'm absolutely sure they will, because it does get easier, not only that, but you can streak directly on top of the rock even without the second jump if you get in the right spot.
I can see them putting up a invisible wall soon, so do not wait to do this... especially since there's so many options to do so.
ZoS is especially vigilant about people cheesing trial gear, extra hard for popular sets, and every heavy attack sorcerer they know will be wanting to run Infallible Mage.
That's a lot of work for a trial that takes 10 minutes.

@@TatewakiGaming To be honest, one or even 20 people being banned doesn't even make a dent in their overall profit margin. ZoS, and most other game companies these days, implement a steady influx plan where they just keep the revolving doors moving with new players who all spend money in the "honeymoon phase" and then move on. They couldn't really care any less about a 7+ year old account being banned or even leaving. They have been extremely clear over the years about how they feel and handle exploiters in ESO.

Your video title is very misleading and misinformative.
Eternal warrior is not specific to hel ra. It drops in all craglorn trials from any boss or chest. It's just listed as hel ra in collection for the sake of being listed somewhere. Same with vicious ophidian, or infallible aether. They do not have a specific trial, they are intended to drop in all craglorns.
Each trial still has their own 3 specific sets, example, besrking warrior (advancing yokeda) only drops in hel ra, and you will not be able to get it from AA chests. Likewise Twice fang will only drop in sanctum ophidia.
So you can NOT farm 3 trials. You can literally only farm AA for its intended drops.
Well then ZOS’s looting mechanics and stickerbook cataloging (specifically Craglorn trials) is very misleading and misinformative.
Simply and factually put. You will receive set items from Hel Ra and Sanctum Ophidia from that chest in AA. So I did not misinform.
Wether those pieces were meant to drop in ALL crag trials or not, the fact stands that you can go exclusively Farm that chest in AA for them and never have to step foot in the other two. Unless you want THOSE trial specific sets from those trials.
You’re a smart guy, and I appreciate the input, but you have to also admit it yourself, that contrary to all other looting/farming mechs, they made this bit unnecessarily confusing. Especially for the common player.

@@AreaofEffect @Area of Effect no, you won't get sets from Hel Ra or Sanctum. That is not factual. You can not farm hel ra or sanctum sets in AA.
You can farm 6 sets in AA, 3 sets specific to AA, and 3 sets universal to all craglorn trials. That is fact.
Each trial has 1 Mage set, 1 Serpent set, and 1 warrior set. Then there is a mage, warrior and serpent set that drops in all 3 trials.
It's very straight forward for anyone to understand and has been this way since craglorn trials dropped.
You can NOT get Beserking Warrior, poisonous serpent, or Destructive mage - the Hel Ra sets.
You can NOT get immortal warrior, wise mage, or twice fang serpent - they are Sanctum Ophidia sets.
You can NOT farm 3 trials. Only 1. That is hard fact.

Your jump was not impressive, and I dont particularly care if its easy or not lol, I'm sorry you felt the need to add that and give yourself a little pat on the back, but I see no merit in abusing the use of a skill to get to a chest that's supposed to be a reward for defeating a boss.
I dont condone cheating or abuse of skills, bugs or game mechanics.
A few years ago you could streak through a gap in the rocks in maw of lorkaj and get to the chests there without fighting too, many people got banned for doing so.

There was also a way to bypass all The rounds of vdsa and virtually no one got banned for it. you can skip that jump, but streaking or blood mist directly to that place, Saves a difficult jump. Blood mist just get a circle to aim with. :)
