- Assalam o Alaikum. Today I bring you guys exclusive Test Drive of Newly launched Toyota Yaris. Toyota Yaris in Pakistan is now available for booking from March 2020. Toyota Yaris replaces Corolla XLi and Corolla GLi Variants. In this video we will test drive the top of the line model ( Yaris 1.5 Ativ X ). We will analyze the cars comfort level, Interior feel, Performance ( Exclusive 0-100 time ), Handling and economy. We will also compare the car with 11 year old Honda City. Finally we will give our verdict about this car. We will also test drive basic model of Toyota Yaris, So stay tuned for that.

What is your opinion about its suspension as compared with corolla. Is it comparable with that? I checked it in the showroom but couldn’t get test drive. My only issue with honda city was its suspension.
The suspension is in between Honda city and Toyota corolla. Better then city in comfort but not upto Corolla level.

@@TRUTHREALITYTRUTH that's the point. That grande will have more than 70,000 Kms and you can't even know if it is in great condition. And these are only 2 of the very big problem while buying used cars.

Rpm at 120km/h does not reflect the real fuel average of car because every engine works different at given Rpm due to which such test can't be standardized.

This car is better than city aspire 1.5. Because city does not come with push start, smart entry, digital climate control, DRLs, steering controls and the 4 inch lcd screen beside speedometer.

Just wondering if you're getting the telescopic steering adjust in addition to tilt? The Indian model gets tilt only. The driver armrest is shit though. It's more like a leg rest for the rear passenger.

Itna Engine Noise ??
Plz make apple to apple comparison.. Yes City 1.3 Automic is under power (100HP) but 1.5 City Automatic (120 HP) is no match with this mini mazda (104HP)...Engine noise is toooo high in Yaris and City 1.5 is far better in response/ very lesser engine noise plus very good fuel consumption on highways..... Rest options like air bags, steering controls, Climate control, Traction control etc in Yaris definitely give edge on Honda City...
Honda city 1.5 auto does 0-100 in 13-14s while thi does in 12-13s. Honda's 5 speed auto is obsolete technology that has been replaced by cvt in newer models. The throttle response of yaris 1.5 is much better due to better transmission.

Tested it till 100km/h. No vibrations found.

It will enhance the look of the car. But it might create a problem with the Abs system.

Grande has both triptronic gearbox as well as paddle shifters. This car has only triptronic gearbox.

Altis 1.6 Auto costs around 33-34 lac while Yaris 1.5 Ativ costs 29.60 lac. If you can pay extra then go for Altis 1.6

Brother i have this yaris for last almost 1 year the brake is reasonable but not very good n drive is cool but crossing 140 speed you feel unsteady...
Mind you yaris is a good car but not replace to Toyota corolla..
You are right. Toyota Yaris is a compact sedan and can never replace Corolla. But price is also cheaper for basic variant.
I don't know about price.. But we should not confuse masses while talking yaris n comparing to corolla as frankly many people don't exactly know yaris as its newly landed car in pakistan by Toyota but 1 thing positive would be that it would appeal other brands to launch same cars in segment n also there will be talk of many other things hence customer may get access to many brands..
Lastly yaris is competitor to city.. Accent.. Mazda 2..nissan sunny.. Etc
Adding 1 more thing that yaris might struggle in competition to city..
I personally think City is still a better car like in space, road grip, brakes while missing features likely air bags are putting city to continue struggling but city in many aspects beat yaris..

In my Initial Impression video about Yaris i made it clear that it can't compete with Toyota Corolla. Do check that out but I can never prefer anyone to buy a 11 year old Honda city which is 2 generations old in Pakistan without any safety features. Honda needs to follow international standards and release latest model. Also with good safety features.

Don't compare with Honda city it's a 10 years old model. From ur review l observed the vehicle is far less in quality keeping in view international standard. With this price tag not worth to buy
10 year old but still in production. Both are compact sedan in same price brackets. The comparison is done to shame Honda for not changing this model.
