    Do we only use double domma in indefinite articles or the other harakat may also be used?

      Salams,
      Indefinite and Tanween (double harakats: Dammatayn/Fathatayn/Kasratayn) are married. Meaning, these double harakats are used only with indefinite articles since the Tanween signifies the indefinite articles. Therefore, these non-specific nouns called indefinite articles are marked either by double fatha, double kasra or double damma. In essence, tanween is the Arabic equivalent of the indefinite article. And when we say Tanween, we mean all the double harakats.
