The algorithm must have liked this report. Off the top of my head, I think it's the first Locked on Zags report to have a clip show up on my YT Shorts recommendation list!! Thanks for the consistently excellent reporting. As an aside, I don't know how anyone who has followed this program for any length of time can discount any player's future contributions, based solely on this year's output. It seems especially egregious to do so for players who showed tremendous growth in-season and have 6+ months of off-season development ahead.

I like that starting line up better too. Hopefully Smith comes back or we get a bigger type defensive minded guard because we are seriously lacking on the defensive side. So many times when our offense didn’t show up we couldn’t stop the other team and we end up getting blown out with no chance to come back. Defense travels.
I look for Hickman to excel at #2 off guard position, especially with floor spacing providing him with more open looks....he can make shots he just needs more confidence
Salis was made to order for run and gun. He's got a bright future, just not in Spokane. Our loss. I'm also sorry to see Harris go. He has a very impressive resume. This could have been his year if he had remained healthy. Watson and Smith's return will solidify the Zags as a national powerhouse.
Watson is the epitome of great college player....a lot like Drew. He needs to come back and I'm praying that he will. Smith coming back for his 5th year would sweeten the pot even more....go zags '23-'24!!
I think Watson should enter the draft process to get feedback, but I ultimately think he will come back. Less sure on smith! But getting Watson back would be huge

If Watson doesn’t come back, thoughts on going and grabbing a rim protector like Jamarion Sharp? Or would that crowd the paint too much with Ike being a back to the basket guy?
I suspect Taran will go elsewhere yes, Nembhard and Hickman are the starters and they are both PG so Armstrong should (and will) find another opportunity.
@@LockedOnZags Hickman won't start if Smith comes back. You need a guy to come in off the bench and run the offense. Hickman can do that. If Hickman is starting next year I'll be very concerned
Doesn't Watson have some kind of NIL deal? I know he started a podcast. He needs to come back as 5th year senior to finish his career with more pivotal role on team....will help his draft stock too.

If Angel Nunez would have stayed, he would have been a starting big after Karnowski got hurt on a team that went to the elite 8.

Zags need rim protection so yes if Watson does not return I’d think that would be a priority addition

Probably not. I heard he regretted transferring to GU and not just entering the draft last year.

I think Reid could be a rim protector. He needs to work on avoiding fouls and not worrying about fouls because he won't get that many minutes.
