The "every bite of my everyday meals is agony" part got me. It is now pure torture for me to now eat my favorite cereal. I also have bad breath. You know what's wrong? The milk our family drinks has Ghee(Look it up, ghee in milk tastes and smells disgusting) it causes a lot of stink in my mouth. Like literally everything I brush my teeth I have a nice breath but after I drink milk the entire effect of the toothpaste wears off. I think the reason I think I have a toothache is that our family toothpaste sucks (or maybe my the permanent teeth are going replacing my milk ones). We use an Ayurvedic toothpaste and I personally *HATE* Ayurveda. Ya sure it could help cure a headache but there's no way I'm letting it in my mouth. A chemical toothpaste has the chemicals to stop the pain+gives my mouth a mint smell. 👌. I give my oral health a 2/10.

I agree with you there. As bad as dentists may seem, the procedure of having a tooth pulled is a walk in the park over the unbearable pain of a toothache or even worse a tooth infection or even worst, nerve pain that goes up inside the head and down the jaw. @@zebra2662 Take some antibiotics like Clavam 625 Potassium Tablets and Win-Medicare (if available in any way) and if u don't have these medicines u may quickly run to the dentist and in my opinion it would be better to get that tooth outta ur mouth so that u never get that freaking pain again...I hope it helps as I'm also having a toothache rn

Im on day 11 of pain. Its been all levels of pain, tears, anger, giving up, staying strong, mental breakdown, emotional mess, throbbing, stinging, aching.....i had an extraction, 3 weeks of terrible dry socket..that never completely healed so here i am with a mysterious case of excruciating pain from this area. I wish this apon nobody, this is the worse, i somehow feel better reading others in same pain so i dont feel alone..but wishing we all get out fast from this nightmare experience.

Use cold compress. You can also take 400mg of ibuprofen and 1000mg of acetaminophen together for insane pain. Also warm up mouthwash to room temp or slightly warm and rinse the tooth. This way the mouthwash won't trigger the sensitivity but it will clean and draw moisture out of the gums. Book a dentist appointment. Edit: If your toothache is so bad that you can only get relief by holding ice cold water in your mouth, it means you have gasses from bacteria stuck in the tooth. The warm causes expansion and pain. Combine the Advil and Tylenol and keep using the cold water. Mix in wouthwash or salt into cold water occasionally. It might seem like it wont go away... But it will if you keep at it. I'm sorry, but forget sleeping for the next 24 hours as you will only feel relief with water in your mouth. But give the meds time and keep soothing the tissue with the chilled mouthwash. Once the the gasses dissipate I recommend to cease the cold water and get yourself some clove oil. You can get it at a pharmacy. It's a natural anesthetic and it gets rid of that nagging residual irritation. And of course... book an appointment.

In my 24 years of living I didn't experience the pain this intense. It so unbearable I get all lightheaded and sweaty feeling like passing out. It comes in very sharp waves for 3-5 minutes and goes away for around 20, which give me more happiness and relief than any possible life achivenment or a drug on the planet. It hits my neck, shoulder and the half of my spine like a needle so bad I want to punch walls. I really feel like climbing any mountain possible, after my pain finally goes away. All my past problems and general laziness, when in comes to dentists, seem so incomparably small to what I am going through now. I hope I will survive this night. You should go to the ER. The infection could be spreading. They can give you antibiotics. I had one that spread into my jaw. Now I am 50 years old and will have to have dentures. I don’t want you to get really sick.

I have a life and im definitely not going to spend it sitting in a dentist waiting room for 6 hours hoping ill be picked next! Also, lockdown took most of that opportunity away from me for a couple months besides no insurance.
Thank you very much! I am on day 2 of the 3-3-3 method and it works! I feel so much better. I had swollen gums on the left top of my mouth. I like many in the prior comments was in agony. It took longer than 30 mins or so on day 1, but I was able to finally sleep and just keep gradually feeling better!

To everyone who’s experiencing extreme toothache right now, you can get through this! Buy some amoxicillin and ibuprofen and make sure to have regular intervals, it can help get rid of a tooth infection but it won’t completely stop it. I cried a few nights ago from the pain and I still am experiencing mild pain even after going to the dentist cause I may have a tooth infection in the pulp or something. I appreciate the advice in the video. I am 56 years old, no cavities and always took good care of my teeth. I developed a toothache for about a week. We ruled out abscess and cracked tooth with exam and x-ray. The 3-3-3 formula worked well for me. I had no idea gingivitis could be so painful. My dentist said I may have injured the gum by brushing. Anyhow on day 3 of the ibuprofen regimen the swelling and pain got much better. Thanks for the advice.

I am an RN, this is a reasonable dose for an acute situation, but you would not want to do it long term as advil, like all NSAIDS, is hard on the kidneys. it shrinks the renal artery and cuts down on available blood flow to the kidneys while it is in your system. Short term like advised in the video it won't hurt and provides good relief. I have actually had physicians tell me that an advil/tylenol combination gives as effective relief as an opiate such as lortab.

Yup, I too am sitting here with a pretty bad toothache on Christmas Day. I believe the tooth may be broken and I want it out. I took 2 Aleve (before finding this video). I'll have to run to Walgreens tomorrow and get some Advil and try the 3-3-3 method until I can get a dentist appointment. I also rinsed my mouth with Dr. Tichenor's. Now I have an ice pack on the side of my face where the pain is. It seems to be helping a little! Hopefully I can get a good night's sleep now. Someone who’s recently had a toothace: I would recommend clove oil, it really helps, I also like to pour water on my tooth and it numbs it, you can also bite down on a piece of toilet or kitchen role with your tooth, trust me, the pain will go away soon just stay strong, you’re not alone!

For ppl who sadly doesn’t have Advil or a replacement for it take a Clove and bite it with the tooth that hurts and take more cloves and put them in a cup of water and cover it for like 15 mins then rinse your mouth with it... also definitely do not eat or swallow the clove just bite it so hopefully this helped you just like me and thanks mom ❤️
Listen to me people : if you don't have medicine or anything else available for some reason, do this. Dissolve a hefty spoon of salt in very hot water. As hot as you can (while still being able to keep it in your mouth). Not boiling but not lukewarm. Needs to be hot . Swirl it in your mouth, syphon it through the teeth and affected area. And spit. And repeat. 2 to 3 times. Initially it well feel like it's making it worse but keep going. After you did it 3 times,hold the same glass with the very hot water inside to the side where it hurts. Press it firmly against your cheek, jawbone or wherever it is. (but not so firmly that it hurts).keep it there'd for 3 minutes +. Trust me, the pain will go away for a good 30 minutes to an hour. When it comes back, repeat. And after hours it will subside. Just make sure you catch it early when the pain is incoming but not yet at "I wanna bash my head through the wall" levels. Give it a try (if you feel like you have nothing to lose, try it). It works. I don't know why but it works

I’ve broken bones and had my arm ripped open by glass to the point my bone was visible, but they felt like a walk in a park compared to an excruciating toothache!! It is so damn painful of unparalleled proportions. I had two wisdom teeth extracted last week. The pain made me want to smash my head against the wall and made tears fall down my cheeks. Absolutely horrific. Wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy

Everyone one thing that really works and trust me when I say it really works it does!! It’s a little blue tube of temp to fill your cavity and it hardens and is only $2 at Walmart and Walgreens pretty much any grocery store! You pack a little in your area that’s hurting and pain will subside at least 80%-90%! At least give you relief until you can get in to dentist. It’s located by all tooth pain items! Hope this helps someone!
Good advice as I'm in the UK and it is next to impossible to find an NHS dentist. In the meantime, I am brushing with Colgate for sensitive teeth, leaving it on for half an hour before rinsing. I'm also dissolving salt in some warm water and swishing it around my mouth and watching videos about distance REIKI. Let's hope we all feel better soon.🥴
I'm no dentist but out of desperation I've discovered the best solution ever! If you're stuck and can't wait for the dentist: take your normal dose of pain killers then combine with deep heat or voltaren gel, tiger balm or any other anti inflammatory gel to massage gently on the swollen target (outside the jaw). It will take at least 20mins to fully work and will give you up to 6hrs of relief. To re apply the gel you must wash your face first otherwise it won't work properly. I wish i knew this a long time ago! Get some rest.
I am on day 1 with Ibuprofen. It works well only with paracetamol together to ease up the pain. Thank you so much for this information. At least it's better now. The dentist appointment is tomorrow.

As bad as dentists may seem, the procedure of having a tooth pulled is a walk in the park over the unbearable pain of a toothache or even worse a tooth infection or even worst, nerve pain that goes up inside the head and down the jaw. Even after you get home, you will feel so much better.

Im on day 11 of pain. Its been all levels of pain, tears, anger, giving up, staying strong, mental breakdown, emotional mess, throbbing, stinging, aching.....i had an extraction, 3 weeks of terrible dry socket..that never completely healed so here i am with a mysterious case of excruciating pain from this area. I wish this apon nobody, this is the worse, i somehow feel better reading others in same pain so i dont feel alone..but wishing we all get out fast from this nightmare experience.

Use cold compress. You can also take 400mg of ibuprofen and 1000mg of acetaminophen together for insane pain. Also warm up mouthwash to room temp or slightly warm and rinse the tooth. This way the mouthwash won't trigger the sensitivity but it will clean and draw moisture out of the gums. Book a dentist appointment.
Edit: If your toothache is so bad that you can only get relief by holding ice cold water in your mouth, it means you have gasses from bacteria stuck in the tooth. The warm causes expansion and pain. Combine the Advil and Tylenol and keep using the cold water. Mix in wouthwash or salt into cold water occasionally. It might seem like it wont go away... But it will if you keep at it. I'm sorry, but forget sleeping for the next 24 hours as you will only feel relief with water in your mouth. But give the meds time and keep soothing the tissue with the chilled mouthwash.
Once the the gasses dissipate I recommend to cease the cold water and get yourself some clove oil. You can get it at a pharmacy. It's a natural anesthetic and it gets rid of that nagging residual irritation. And of course... book an appointment.

In my 24 years of living I didn't experience the pain this intense. It so unbearable I get all lightheaded and sweaty feeling like passing out.
It comes in very sharp waves for 3-5 minutes and goes away for around 20, which give me more happiness and relief than any possible life achivenment or a drug on the planet.
It hits my neck, shoulder and the half of my spine like a needle so bad I want to punch walls. I really feel like climbing any mountain possible, after my pain finally goes away. All my past problems and general laziness, when in comes to dentists, seem so incomparably small to what I am going through now. I hope I will survive this night. I am writing this with a mouthful of salt water to make it easier for me. Brace, my man or a woman. You're not alone here.

You should go to the ER. The infection could be spreading. They can give you antibiotics. I had one that spread into my jaw. Now I am 50 years old and will have to have dentures. I don’t want you to get really sick.

I never had them removed because there was no need for it. And to answer your other question, I didn't have insurance until recently and where I'm from they only did walk ins and take the first 10 people. I dont have time for that. I have a life and im definitely not going to spend it sitting in a dentist waiting room for 6 hours hoping ill be picked next! Also, lockdown took most of that opportunity away from me for a couple months besides no insurance.

Thank you very much! I am on day 2 of the 3-3-3 method and it works! I feel so much better. I had swollen gums on the left top of my mouth. I like many in the prior comments was in agony. It took longer than 30 mins or so on day 1, but I was able to finally sleep and just keep gradually feeling better!

To everyone who’s experiencing extreme toothache right now,
you can get through this! Buy some amoxicillin and ibuprofen and make sure to have regular intervals, it can help get rid of a tooth infection but it won’t completely stop it.
I cried a few nights ago from the pain and I still am experiencing mild pain even after going to the dentist cause I may have a tooth infection in the pulp or something.
Good luck and dont stop yourself from crying, its painful... very painful.

I appreciate the advice in the video. I am 56 years old, no cavities and always took good care of my teeth. I developed a toothache for about a week. We ruled out abscess and cracked tooth with exam and x-ray. The 3-3-3 formula worked well for me. I had no idea gingivitis could be so painful. My dentist said I may have injured the gum by brushing. Anyhow on day 3 of the ibuprofen regimen the swelling and pain got much better. Thanks for the advice.

I am an RN, this is a reasonable dose for an acute situation, but you would not want to do it long term as advil, like all NSAIDS, is hard on the kidneys. it shrinks the renal artery and cuts down on available blood flow to the kidneys while it is in your system. Short term like advised in the video it won't hurt and provides good relief. I have actually had physicians tell me that an advil/tylenol combination gives as effective relief as an opiate such as lortab.
This method really helped me, especially when you get a tooth ache on a weekend and everything is closed.

Yup, I too am sitting here with a pretty bad toothache on Christmas Day. I believe the tooth may be broken and I want it out. I took 2 Aleve (before finding this video). I'll have to run to Walgreens tomorrow and get some Advil and try the 3-3-3 method until I can get a dentist appointment. I also rinsed my mouth with Dr. Tichenor's. Now I have an ice pack on the side of my face where the pain is. It seems to be helping a little! Hopefully I can get a good night's sleep now. I hope everyone who's here for the same reason I am, gets permanent relief sooner rather than later!

Someone who’s recently had a toothace: I would recommend clove oil, it really helps, I also like to pour water on my tooth and it numbs it, you can also bite down on a piece of toilet or kitchen role with your tooth, trust me, the pain will go away soon just stay strong, you’re not alone!

Listen to me people : if you don't have medicine or anything else available for some reason, do this. Dissolve a hefty spoon of salt in very hot water. As hot as you can (while still being able to keep it in your mouth). Not boiling but not lukewarm. Needs to be hot . Swirl it in your mouth, syphon it through the teeth and affected area. And spit. And repeat. 2 to 3 times. Initially it well feel like it's making it worse but keep going. After you did it 3 times,hold the same glass with the very hot water inside to the side where it hurts. Press it firmly against your cheek, jawbone or wherever it is. (but not so firmly that it hurts).keep it there'd for 3 minutes +. Trust me, the pain will go away for a good 30 minutes to an hour. When it comes back, repeat. And after hours it will subside. Just make sure you catch it early when the pain is incoming but not yet at "I wanna bash my head through the wall" levels. Give it a try (if you feel like you have nothing to lose, try it). It works. I don't know why but it works

I would definitely recommend asking your dentist first (via phone) but yes, for just 3 days, that's what I usually tell my patients to do.

Everyone one thing that really works and trust me when I say it really works it does!! It’s a little blue tube of temp to fill your cavity and it hardens and is only $2 at Walmart and Walgreens pretty much any grocery store! You pack a little in your area that’s hurting and pain will subside at least 80%-90%! At least give you relief until you can get in to dentist. It’s located by all tooth pain items! Hope this helps someone!

Good advice as I'm in the UK and it is next to impossible to find an NHS dentist. In the meantime, I am brushing with Colgate for sensitive teeth, leaving it on for half an hour before rinsing. I'm also dissolving salt in some warm water and swishing it around my mouth and watching videos about distance REIKI. Let's hope we all feel better soon.🥴
I'm no dentist but out of desperation I've discovered the best solution ever! If you're stuck and can't wait for the dentist: take your normal dose of pain killers then combine with deep heat or voltaren gel, tiger balm or any other anti inflammatory gel to massage gently on the swollen target (outside the jaw). It will take at least 20mins to fully work and will give you up to 6hrs of relief. To re apply the gel you must wash your face first otherwise it won't work properly. I wish i knew this a long time ago! Get some rest.

I am on day 1 with Ibuprofen. It works well only with paracetamol together to ease up the pain. Thank you so much for this information. At least it's better now. The dentist appointment is tomorrow.
