There are three things that make your channel such a joy. Firstly there is always great content, be it nature, sailing or like this episode, something completely unexpected. Secondly the narration is sympathetic and oh so easy on the ear. Finally, the videos are expertly edited and they flow effortlessly. You know it’s a good one when it feels like you have been watching for only a couple of minutes. Can’t wait until you get to Mexico!
Couldn't agree more..so much packed in their episodes, sailing, navigation, comments, nature documentary and surprise destination visits like the flying cameraman patron and the the survival gear patreon visit to Mustang on previous episode. Production of their episodes are so well done.
Malin & Johan, keep doing what you're doing, we love the videos! You two are so enjoyable to watch with such likable personalities. Thank you for another great video :-)
Wow, this whole journey from Alaska down to Vancouver has been so great. Your Vlog is totally unique. No one on TH-cam is doing what you're doing and with such professional editing. Like thousands of other people RAN Sailing is my favorite Saling Vlog. Well done you two.
Just love this! Boy, the helicopter-rides are awesome! Canadians are great people in a great country! Thanks, Malin & Johan for showing us Vancouver and the world!
It's always nice to see the warm hospitality you receive from your followers Malin & Johan. The generosity and effort they make to help and welcome you is heartwarming.
You guys are just so naturally innocent in your presentation of not only your talk in the the pub, to your videos. Malin you possess an raw excitement in everything you see and do, whilst Johan you have a more skilled approach to everything, by that I mean your sailing knowledge, and workmanship. Please don’t change those values because it’s a rare commodity nowadays.🏴⛵️
Wow... in this episode I saw my house, my favourite hike, my favourite city, and my favourite TH-cam meet up! I even saw myself! Thanks again for showing off the best Canadian city! Bryan from Vancouver
Great video, Vancouver is an awesome city! BTW that's my dad (GT) with the balloon ;) I highly recommend you get in touch if you end up down in California. Are you two back in Seattle? I'm out west in Port Angeles but I keep my sailboat over in Kingston. Let me know if you need anything while ur up here or would like to meet up on the water. Keep up the great adventures!
This is obviously the most breath taking scenery to date, with helicopter views associated with Patreon Murray. Vancouver was splendid. Thank you so much, your adventures are always a treat.
For me this is the new reality T.V. As the technical and story telling get's better and better what Hollywood produces will fall away more and more...I hope.
Thank you so much for showing off our beautiful city so well. Tourism BC should cut you a cheque! Sorry to hear about the scratches.. This is a common occurrence.. the holding ground is silty and does cause issues if not enough scope or chain. Our marina was just west of where you were anchored and we have had boats drag into our docks before! Really enjoy your videos. The quality rivals any of the channels out there! Fair winds
Thank you so much Sue! We can imagine that it happens quite frequently. It's a busy place with many boats, we've been experiencing the same thing in other places/countries as well. We really like False Creek though, it was great to be able to anchor for free right in the city! Cheers, Malin and Johan
Hope we enjoyed this !!!! OMG, you guys. What a fabulous episode !! What a view from the climb. And, Malin, I have to say, you looked sooo damn cute in the front cockpit of the helicopter !! The enthusiasm in your eyes is encouraging. And, Johan, our calm, ever happy smile is so wonderful. Thank you both. 😊⛵️⚓️👍👌
Once again a pure joy to watch your video. Beautiful, interesting and warm as always. Your channel is definitely my favorite on TH-cam. Thank you so much!
I like the way you had a daypack on and Malin had an expedition backpack on.... the skill needed for that is awesome.... and your background music is really good..... it really adds to the videos.
There are some other sailing blogs that are very interesting and informative, but this takes the biscuit! Are per the comment below, superstars, and the relaxed, mature narrative is very addictive, well done! The feeling of community around boating is simply amazing and has been overwhelming for us during our short time on the scene so far. Stick to boating though... please! Helicopters are just too dangerous and expensive for us mere mortals.
Helicopters are cool aren’t they. You reminded me of a shoot I did years ago of the Queen Mary II heading into Bass straight out of Melbourne - a notoriously rough stretch of water - think Sydney to Hobart yacht race. After flying in circles for about an hour, in and out of very low cloud, we finally found her. A low angled shaft of golden sunshine, with that heavenly rays look from all the spray in the air, was breaking through the low cloud spotlighting the ship as she smashed through big swells, sending a veil of spray back over the entire boat. It was heavy weather and there she was radiant amid the heaving grey seascape. Wow, such an incredible sight! I’ll never forget it. It was one of those very rare moments in life when you are in just the right place at the right time to witness something awesome. P.S. Love your videos!
That is a good one Richard! Our Engineers tell us that a helicopter is a bunch of moving parts flying in close formation, held together by a safety pin.
Three htoughts: 1. Malin is so tiny in real life! :) 2. You totally got lucky on those chopper flights. 3. Malin's explanation of anchor scope made me understand it instantly. You should do more sailing tech videos with her narrating.
I've come to think - that you two - have more day to day fun than any other sailing channel. You guys get out there and do and see the greatest things. Hat's off to Murray. Nice that he went out of his way to share his corner of the world with his distinct perspective from above.
Glad you got to see so much of Vancouver and the surrounds. It’s a great city, you got to see it from the water and the sky and good weather too! Can’t wait to see where you are headed next. From Seattle.
Cool. I've heard that Vancouver is a great city. Well done. Brilliant to catch RAN in the amazing setting; though with two boats dragging onto her, I bet you are glad to move!
This is a fun video, was a holiday bringing our boat over, anchoring in that chaos and taking the dinghy over to join in with the large group of subscribers gathering upstairs.
Thank you again for providing us with such good images. My wife and I were in Canada in 1998 and we crossed the country from Toronto to Vancouver with our backpacks. It was a very pleasant experience and we missed it. Thank you for bringing such good memories.
Yet another fantastic episode. Years ago I was on a helicopter which flew through the mountains near Whistler along the Sea to Sky Corridor. Amazing scenery.
Outstanding! Love your videos, you sure have a gift for making them! I think it’s amazing how each step of your adventure leads you to new people and new adventures you had probably never dreamed of.
Great video. You were here in my home town and I never new. Your both so lucky that was an amazing trip around Vancouver in the helicopter- very special. Very few would have experienced that.
Sorry, but , I've got to tell you, a bunch of weekend warriors and amateurs in that anchorage with non existent scopes . . They can do a lot of damage. I wouldn't be surprised that will be the case all the way down the coast.Maybe if you had your boat set up as if some other boat was going to come, just accepting that it will happen ? Love the helicopter footage. I have been in them for tower work. I would be taken to a snow covered mountain, throwing my gear out and jumping off into the snow. I'd do my work, the copter would come back and pick me up. Once I had them follow a road, and was pretty much looking straight down (out the side window) because the copter tilted completely over ! What a feeling !
You are both gracious hosts, a wonderful quality that makes your channel a delight. Vancouver is a gem!!! Loved it in high school and college. You did it justice. Another beautifully done episode. Thanks for sharing... Capt. China Mike S/V Venceremos, out of San Diego...Mexico awaits! Fair sailing..
Incredible isn’t it, flying? Best of both worlds I’d say, I should know, did it for 25 years. I’m nervously awaiting the venture crossing the continent heading East. You two are the best.
One would think that if dragging is such a problem, the city would put mooring balls out there - even if they had to charge a minimum fee for their use to justify the cost. In any event, not only do you two make the best videos, but have an incredible attitude in the face of any adversity (well, at least on the public side of things. :) ) Thanks for taking us along.
Vancouver is my home. I consider myself lucky to live here. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You did a great job capturing its beauty. I proposed to my wife on the Chief, near where you were having lunch.
Great episode, sailing has opened up so many opportunities for you both. I was an avionics technician in the Air Force and always get excited around helicopters, I can just imagine how great your experience was. Thank you for sharing.
As always, great video. I only hope I have the opportunity to get out there again. I enjoyed my two years cruising so much! Your videos are incredibly well edited and produced. So many who try to do what you do end up producing videos that are hard to watch. Thanks for your efforts. Stay safe and have fun.
Absolutely love your videos and obviously I am not the only one. It is great that you are able to meet some of us who are living your adventure vicariously thru TH-cam. Hopefully you get to Florida so that I can come see you.

Thank you so much! Makes us very happy to hear and we're glad you enjoyed the episode :) This made our day! Cheers, Malin and Johan
Couldn't agree more..so much packed in their episodes, sailing, navigation, comments, nature documentary and surprise destination visits like the flying cameraman patron and the the survival gear patreon visit to Mustang on previous episode. Production of their episodes are so well done.
Great to see Patreon Murry really looking after you....Canadian hospitality no less! Great work and thanks for sharing.
He’s a champ! 😊
Malin & Johan, keep doing what you're doing, we love the videos! You two are so enjoyable to watch with such likable personalities. Thank you for another great video :-)
Thank you so much Jamie!
Now that's a drone upgrade.
Love your videos, keep em coming.
See people love you just because you're a very sweet couple and we like sailing and we want the best for you
Thank you! It's great to meet the people who follow us and watch our videos! :)
The benefits of being famous, you get to have tours of places that we don’t normally see. Thank you for sharing, that was unbelievable!
I’ve lived in Canada my whole life. Hopefully we can preserve this for my children.
Malin could have done a live traffic report in Swedish and had the whole place confused... :D
Wow, this whole journey from Alaska down to Vancouver has been so great. Your Vlog is totally unique. No one on TH-cam is doing what you're doing and with such professional editing. Like thousands of other people RAN Sailing is my favorite Saling Vlog. Well done you two.
Thank you so much for your feedback! :)
Just love this! Boy, the helicopter-rides are awesome!
Canadians are great people in a great country!
Thanks, Malin & Johan for showing us Vancouver and the world!
Really! I've seen maps before, but this gives you a better understanding of the topography, that I probably never would have understood. Until now.
It's always nice to see the warm hospitality you receive from your followers Malin & Johan. The generosity and effort they make to help and welcome you is heartwarming.
It really is! The best thing about traveling is all the people you meet!
You guys are just so naturally innocent in your presentation of not only your talk in the the pub, to your videos. Malin you possess an raw excitement in everything you see and do, whilst Johan you have a more skilled approach to everything, by that I mean your sailing knowledge, and workmanship.

Bryan from Vancouver
So cool! :) Thanks for coming to the meetup!
Northern California, when/if you visit I'll take you for a hot air balloon ride. Another great episode. Love Vancouver.
Wow, we'd love that! :) Please send us an email to ransailing@gmail.com and we can talk more :)
@@RANSailing You have to take GT up on that ballon ride. I crewed for a balloon team in Edmonton for a few years, and it is a fabulous experience.
Great video, Vancouver is an awesome city! BTW that's my dad (GT) with the balloon ;) I highly recommend you get in touch if you end up down in California. Are you two back in Seattle? Wonderful video, one of my favorites. You are the best at telling a great story. ⛵👫🚁😀😁
So happy that your story and adventure has become so popular. I know I enjoy each video you post.
That experience is going to be hard to beat. What an awesome Patron.
Cool video subscribers, helicopters brilliant and now you are both super stars ,good luck
So happy to see that you experienced some of the best people and scenery that my country has to offer.
You two are such good people who can produce such creative content.
For me this is the new reality T.V. As the technical and story telling get's better and better what Hollywood produces will fall away more and more...I hope.
So cool you got to do this (and share it with us)! Thank you!

Dont understand why they dont set out bouys? Seems better than watching it happen over n over
Thank you so much Sue! We can imagine that it happens quite frequently. It's a busy place with many boats, we've been experiencing the same thing in other places/countries as well. We really like False Creek though, it was great to be able to anchor for free right in the city! Cheers, Malin and Johan
Incredible,flawless breathtaking RAN!!
stunning video, great story, never a dull moment with RAN. must see it again!
Hope we enjoyed this !!!! OMG, you guys. What a fabulous episode !! What a view from the climb. And, Malin, I have to say, you looked sooo damn cute in the front cockpit of the helicopter !! Glad you liked it Richard! Thank you so much!
Once again a pure joy to watch your video. Beautiful, interesting and warm as always. Your channel is definitely my favorite on TH-cam. Thank you so much!
Wow, fantastic vlog this week. I loved the entire helicopter part. Amazing views. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, that was a super episode.
Malin! you looked so much like an helicopter pilot, follow that thought and become one!
Absolutely! :)
I like the way you had a daypack on and Malin had an expedition backpack on.... the skill needed for that is awesome.... and your background music is really good..... it really adds to the videos.
Haha! Mine was actually heavier though. :-) Thanks for watching!
I love how the helicopter lands on a trailer for easy movement. Thanks for sharing!!
Live from high above Vancouver BC, it's your favorite youtube channel-R-A-N S-A-I-L-I-N-G.
Love it! :)

Thank you so much Bob for those kind words! 😊
Fantastic episode! You two are having a blast in Canada. 😀
Always get a little excited when Friday rolls around, time for another Ran Sailing video! This was one of my favourite videos of yours.
Helicopters are cool aren’t they. Perfect .. i love the shot of you both standing on ran.. made by the helicopter..
My had off ..respect to you all
Don’t look now, but you guys are rock stars! You have fans around the world. If you ever make it to New Orleans, look me up. Another 👍👍👍
Thank You so much for another quality video. We do enjoy them so much.
Just a technical note, helicopters really don’t fly... They simply beat the air into submission 😅
Noice! Haven’t heard that one, I love flying in them though
I knew You don't fly 'em but just keep 'em from crashing down ... but "finally submissive air" sounds more reasonable, to be honest 😂
That is a good one Richard! Our Engineers tell us that a helicopter is a bunch of moving parts flying in close formation, held together by a safety pin.
Aka the Jesus nut
10,000 pieces of metal whirling around an oil leak waiting for metal fatigue to set in.
When you guys filmed the whales, gotta say it was the best. Your camera work is a WOW!
I love Fridays - Delos vlog in the AM and Ran in the PM, outstanding people doing very cool things, v best to you both
As always, fantastic fotage.
This one is for you Johan.
What did the ocean say to the other ocean?
Nothing, they just waved. :)
Haha, that's a good one! :) /Johan

Thanks a lot! :)
Our favorite place to be during the Polar Vortex here in Upstate NY...keep up the wonderful work. 😘
Ventos justos e mar calmo ⛵️
Yet another beautiful Vlog.
I've come to think - that you two - have more day to day fun than any other sailing channel. You guys get out there and do and see the greatest things. Hat's off to Murray. Nice that he went out of his way to share his corner of the world with his distinct perspective from above.
Thank you so much! Vancouver and the surroundings were great places to explore and we were so glad to join Murray on his job! :)
Eyes took the positive and Ran took the negative, On and on .
oh that's so cool. I loved the shot at the end of you guys waving. What a great experience!
Glad you got to see so much of Vancouver and the surrounds. It’s a great city, you got to see it from the water and the sky and good weather too! Can’t wait to see where you are headed next. From Seattle.
Extremely uplifting episode you guys. Thanks.
Thanks...that takes care of my blood pressure meds for the week...
all I can say is WOW !!
Cool. I've heard that Vancouver is a great city. Well done. Brilliant to catch RAN in the amazing setting; though with two boats dragging onto her, I bet you are glad to move!

Yet another fantastic episode. Years ago I was on a helicopter which flew through the mountains near Whistler along the Sea to Sky Corridor. Amazing scenery.

Great edition. I don't know how you get so lucky on all these side stories.
Outstanding! Love your videos, you sure have a gift for making them! I think it’s amazing how each step of your adventure leads you to new people and new adventures you had probably never dreamed of.
Thank you so much Lori! That’s really how it is!
Great video. You were here in my home town and I never new. Your both so lucky that was an amazing trip around Vancouver in the helicopter- very special. Very few would have experienced that.
We were at the Seattle Boat show last weekend was looking for you both.
A beautiful city also.
Happy travels, may fair winds be with you.
We were there last Friday. Sorry we missed you! Hope you had a nice time :)

Wowzers, the legendary Murray Titus took you for a ride, twice. Nice one.
Great video! The helicopter footage was terrific, and I loved the final shot of you two on RAN!

Excellent! Another high quality production from the Ran crew. Loved the meet up. You two are the best.
Love LOVE this episode! Thanks for the inspiration to do this hike this year!
Incredible isn’t it, flying? Best of both worlds I’d say, I should know, did it for 25 years. I’m nervously awaiting the venture crossing the continent heading East. You two are the best.

18:48 big rainbow at the mountain 🌈 😁
YES I WILL BET THAT WAS A THRILL OF A LIFE TIME !!!!!!!
Love Canada! People so friendly! Wow can you say adventures! Lucky! What Fantastic camera scenes. How exciting!

Well, now you need a boat with a chopper on it! Great episode, thank you!

So many who try to do what you do end up producing videos that are hard to watch. Thanks for your efforts. Stay safe and have fun.
You got hit twice.......geez....Vancouver BC needs to be a little more active there to fix the problem....start writing some tickets
Thanks

I love you guys.
As always, wonderful content and editing. Thank you so much for letting others share a slice of your life and explore the world with you.
Absolutely love your videos and obviously I am not the only one. It is great that you are able to meet some of us who are living your adventure vicariously thru TH-cam. Hopefully you get to Florida so that I can come see you.
