The oldest dens are actually ones from AJ Classic but adapted to 3D and slightly changed :) those dens are: Castle, Fantasy Castle, Princess Castle, Small House (all 4 types), Treehouse (But VERY modified), Pixel Place, Spring Cottage, Lucky Castle, Friendship Cottage, Bounce House, Gingerbread House, and the Haunted Mansion
They also have some AJ Classic music on Play Wild! That just gave me an idea for Leamon Puppy’s next ranking! Although it might be a little harder than the other ones she did-
The reason the Siberian Palace den has a train track going through it is because Siberia is in Russia, and early 1900s Russia is known for its use of trains. I thought the train detail was pretty cool.
I love the Himalayan Harbor because it’s my town rp den! But like.. half of my dens are rp dens, my other favorite dens are Vintage Estate, Outback Hideaway, and Treehouse!
The moonlight manor is probably my fav den, although I have the snow light one instead because I couldn’t get it. I love the haunted mansion and friendship cottage too
I own the Himalayan Harbor, I use it as a Hotel den because of all the small rooms, it works perfact and the outside area is good for an Hotel Movie Night XD
A lot of these rankings are really reasonable and I like them! Only ones I disagreed on were the Bayou Bungalow and Seaside Lighthouse as i’d basically give them the other’s ranking lol, I just think the lighthouse is bad only due to glitches and the bungalow is a really nice vibe for me, but I respect the opinion.

this is unrelated but i find it kind of funny how when I was playing animal jam you made animal jam videos, then when I quit for a month you mostly made story time videos, and now once I’ve started playing again you’re back to mostly animal jam lol
Omg I remember so many of these old dens! Like the one thats floating with a lot of teleporters, I only ever saw that den once! And the desert dens, the candy cavern, and the volcano den I have never ever seen! I've also never seen the tree house dens! All of those are like NEVER used, and are so old. Like, all the way back to the beta days! And that's just crazy omg! I miss all these old and unique dens, that barely any players have now.
I used to be a huge fan of Animal Jam, both pc and mobile, I even became one of the older Play Wild youtubers and went by the name Rabbidy123 (wasn't that popular but was gaining attraction at the end somehow). I quit the game in 2018 but anyway I find it interesting that the older dens are the more favorited and popular among the players. I didn't do any research on the dens that came after my departure but by just looking at them all on this video.. they all look so overwhelming and unnecessarily huge. The older dens maintained the concept of an actual home the structure, layout, spaces, aesthetic are perfect for decorating and players can do so much variety of designs without losing any ideas of what to do next. The newer dens on the hand don't look like houses, they just look like huge terrains filled with nothing just for the purpose to make anyone know you got money to buy it. Don't get me wrong it's always been the same since forever but the FOMO-inducing content became more and more apparent by the time goes.
The cliffside village came out roughly half a year after i joined animal jam so it gives me so much nostalgia that even if i find a reason to hate it i can never hate it that much?
as someone whos mainly a classic player: MAN i forgot how different the play wild dens are, most of the classic dens are just..houses? like most of them dont have the same super complicated layot with a ton of small rooms as alot of the play wild dens do

I agree with most of your choices, but I have to disagree on the Small House den. Sometimes dens are TOO themed. The Small House is perfect for decorating because of all the potential it has. It has a small size so there isn't too much space like some of the larger dens. (Though I'm a Classic user so I may be a bit biased. I'm better at decorating on there.) This is not meant to be a hate comment. I love your videos and I was really cool to remember all these dens! There are so many I wish I had! :D
Hi Leamon, know this isn't a video about error or anything scamming/hacking, it makes me pretty angry but a group that isn't error(they actually hate error) has been scamming lately and it's bad. they basically offered me to join them and thinking I could become i spy I joined them. after being a "helper" for a bit I was getting comfortable moving rares and helping them while not getting any profit. It's against their group but one of the helpers actually scammed me. I contacted another helper and they didn't help, just gave me hope and dangled my items in front of me. I know they aren't error and they seem pretty young. I was thinking you could make a video about it. They are definitely dangerous. Not to mention that they hack.

I personally think that summer splash pad is my favorite den, despite being so hard to decorate, I love it.

Ive always liked the size, vibe and just anything in animal jam related to candy so personally i would rate it higher than your score :) also the lighting and decorations already added to it gives me bunny burrow vibes from that old aj game which i like a lot

This is how I expanded and fixed Puppy In My Pocket series in my Puppy In My Pocket fanfiction series 💖🐾💛🐾🧡🐾
1) animal characters live in the same world as human characters
2) all of the animal characters are small and cute (all of the animal characters are the same size as each other (all of them are 31.75 cm tall), plus all of them have large anime eyes and human like facial expressiveness, the only thing that differentiates them is their animal species, as there are both well known species and lesser known species, plus there are more than just one member of the species)
3) all of the girl characters have the same extreme hourglass figure as each other and the exact same cup size as each (all of the girls have 35-25-35 bust-waist-hip ratio and the C cup size, the only things that differentiate them are hair colors, eye colors, skin colors, hairstyles and clothings)
4) all of the boy characters have the same body type as each other (all of the boys have 35-25-24 bust-waist-hip ratio and lean athletic build with medium sized defined muscles, the only things that differentiate them are hair colors, eye colors, skin colors, hairstyles and clothings)
5) all of the characters that are animalistic deities in the original versions of their stories are now just as humanoid as the other characters (the only things hinting at their animal inspiration are their hairstyles that look like attributes of animals they are based on, for example, Bastet has buns that look like cat ears and a braid that looks like a cat tail)

I agree with most of your choices, but I have to disagree on the Small House den. Sometimes dens are TOO themed. The Small House is perfect for decorating because of all the potential it has. It has a small size so there isn't too much space like some of the larger dens. (Though I'm a Classic user so I may be a bit biased. I'm better at decorating on there.)
This is not meant to be a hate comment. I love your videos and I was really cool to remember all these dens! There are so many I wish I had! :D

Hi Leamon, know this isn't a video about error or anything scamming/hacking, it makes me pretty angry but a group that isn't error(they actually hate error) has been scamming lately and it's bad.
they basically offered me to join them and thinking I could become i spy I joined them. after being a "helper" for a bit I was getting comfortable moving rares and helping them while not getting any profit. It's against their group but one of the helpers actually scammed me. I contacted another helper and they didn't help, just gave me hope and dangled my items in front of me. I know they aren't error and they seem pretty young. I was thinking you could make a video about it. They are definitely dangerous. Not to mention that they hack.
