I have been a Stallone fan since the first time I saw Rocky and Rambo when I was kid, I’m 47 now, and I still love him today, but the fact that he cast Jon Bernthal in this movie….This movie will kick ass! Jon is one of my favorite actors. Can’t wait to see this movie.

Our hero back again what a treat for 2025. Arguably the greatest Action Movie Star of ALL time. I never imagined as a kid when First Blood part 2 came out that here we are in 2024 as a 51 year old that id be as excited as going to see this staggeringly long lived man still doing these great movies. Think of his (sort of) contemparies, Steven Seagal (fatter than me!!!!), Jean Claude Van Damme (ancient looking) and whilst he is a bit older very entertaining Chuck Norris. Im not going to say owt bout Arnold as he's just as on it as Sly, but this news is fantastic. For those of whom are middle aged and fed up with these snowflakes in life in general a good old 70s,80s,90s, and noughties action movie is just what we need! I always wanted youngish John Rambo to return to see Sheriff Teasle from Part 1, but alas that's not possible, rip Brian Dennehy and indeed Richard Crenna.

This won't work... What would've worked is JR living his final years in NYC becoming a vigilante with severe PTSD. He cleans up all the scum in his neighborhood and at the end, law enforcement realizes it's him. The final scene is JR holed up in his apartment, surrounded by SWAT which ends in gunfire leaving our hero mortally wounded. The End.

I think Stallone is having trouble realizing he is to old for this movie however I respect that he keeps punching at his age. He certainly never gives up and you have to have mad respect for being away from his family for long periods of time to make these movies. Good luck Sly.

Even though the storylines of this series keep seeming somehow more and more tired and corny as the years go by, the only one I thought was a complete waste of my time to watch so far was the fourth movie. I realize that the whole one-man army thing requires suspending a fair bit of disbelief to begin with, but a main protagonist has to have _some_ believability and Sly is at an age (no disrespect to the legend) where it just too hard to accept even in the realm of fiction
