As an artist, I instantly noticed the slightly different colors of the two Liams, so my brain assumed it was a lighting difference before I saw ANY daughters, but I also like the theory that they're a couple and working out custody/family time, and that's why it looks to so many people like "they kidnapped their own daughters"

The Glasses at 1:18 is not only a nice touch, but also makes him look like Clark Kent(Which is weird because he doesn't look like Superman without the glasses).
My take on the subtext is that Liam Neeson is actually the father of all *four* daughters, and that Liam Neeson isn't the father of any of his three (but the paternity tests keep coming back saying "Liam Neeson", so he has been tricked into raising them). But now that Liam Neeson wants a bigger family, he has kidnapped two of Liam Neeson's daughters (who are actually his own daughters, but he doesn't want to raise them) as a ploy to get back Cassie, since she is the only one who is worth her salt: she can make tea, drive and not get kidnapped.
And at one point one of them offers a son, but the other refuses because he hates sons and only likes daughters, but so does the other one, so he tries to give the son gratis to sweeten the deal.
