- In today's episode I build the fairground mound and start a cult! This is the newest edition of the 3rd life series where we are basically playing ultra hardcore, hearts don't regenerate. Yeah, I think the problem is Lizzie always acts like that, so people were finding it odd, but not that unusual. She should've spent the entire episode pretending to be scar and trying to trick people, that would've been more out of character
lizzie's first mistake was expecting joel to question what she was doing as though joel hasn't been yes-anding her antics for like thirteen years
if I had a nickel for every time joel started a cult, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice

Just coming back from Cleo’s video when she was panicking about looking for her pig, to coming here and seeing Joel finding a pig and being very confused is the funniest thing ever.
Yes!! The secrets are really creating a reason to look at other peoples perspectives 😂 I watched Cleos' and just had to go find out what Lizzie had going on 😅

Joel getting the cult task was absolutely targeted, the randomizer system knew what it was doing
The best bit is that AT LEAST 4 OF THEM have started cults before lol. Jeremyism, the mooners and the bumbo baggins (mumbo), the mycelium resistance (Mother Spore aka Grian), the Cult of the Law (Tim), and I remember lizzie did something too i forgot what it was called lol

I'm not sure where the idea that the tasks are randomly assigned comes from. As far as I've seen, that's never been stated? I believe they were deliberately assigned.

I expected nothing less, in fact, I’d be disappointed if you didn’t start a cult, Joel.
Task idea: Create an annoying tune under someone’s base that will irritate them (could be like noteblocks, or a bunch of bells or doors or whatever!)

My task idea for Secret Life: at random points in the session, change different body parts of your skin to match with another players’ body part on their skin until your whole skin is completely different

I think I figured out the hardest tasks are ones where you have to get someone to *not* do something or go along with a bit. People are pretty willing to go along with anything in this series in case it's a task

Joel's new background music makes these videos sound like a training montage for him taking down all the false gods (Joel is the only god)
Joel needs to honor the cult by making a small little place where members can chill and spread the word about appreciating perfectly round mounds
Task idea: Get Mumbo to say: “It’s simple, really!” In any context (bonus points if it’s for Redstone contraptions/j)

Being American, I get my panic response triggered every time Joel says "helter-skelter". I find that very funny. Generational trauma is one hell of a drug.

I enjoy how the whole online players list is alphabetised, right till the end. Bigb and Impulse need to get it in order.
after seeing the trapdoor incident in another pov, I thought when Joel got his "start a cult" task that it had all somehow been his doing but no. still haven't figured out what's going on there and I've accepted that at this point. the mystery adds to its charm
It was Jimmy's task I think, to get everyone to shift into a house or something
and Mumbo actually started that trapdoor thing, so it was just really strange coincidence😂
It's so funny watching other people with Jimmy appearing out of nowhere and being a menace 😂

When you were told to start a cult, the first thing that popped into my head was finding the animal that looked the most like a mole and calling it Fair-emy (after your fairgrounds). The mound is much more creative.
Have a Joel never learned anything from the X Life series with Jeremyism, that starting a cult will get him into very sticky and weird situations… but I guess here goes again. I love it!

I think everyone is just being too nice and not calling ppl out on their shenanigans to help them out. BUT some ppl's tasks are TO BE CALLED OUT. and they are having a hard time with it 😂😂
I find it funny how Joel gets the "Start a cult" task seeing has he has some...connections with it in the past let's say XD
Task idea: Only say yes to a specific person for the whole episode.
Love the helter-skelter build idea, but I think a minecart track with one of those cart breakers at the bottom that sends the cart back to the top would work so much better for the slide than the water 🤓

I couldn’t think up a more suiting task for Joel to do than start a cult if I tried.
If I hadn't seen Lizzies perspective first, I would've just assumed that the bee thing was normal. To me, Lizzie is the kind of person who if she was doing something normal, then I'd be *very* concerned!

Task idea: destroy someone’s base (used or not) and get away with it. It has to be noticeable damage though. This would be a hard task, but I think it would be entertaining

Task idea: forcefully make someone take damage because of you e.g. redstone contraption or luring a creeper or even using dispenser to shoot an arrow making them take fall damage. Up to you!

Funny how this series has an incentive to watch all PoVs just to figure out what strange behavior was someone carrying out a task and what is just typical strange behavior. XD

After being able to binge-watch the last series, I get so excited when a new episode is released then sad I gotta wait another week for the next one. Keep them coming!
Task Idea: Do things that seem like they’re obviously a task and get called out for it 5 times
whenever joel starts a cult you can tell the series is gonna be good XD
It terrifies me how reliant he is on the water bucket 😅 it’s great being used to it and ready to do a quick save if you can, but sprint jumping off 3-5 block heights frequently to clutch with the bucket really adds up every time there’s a slip and it makes me nervous lol

A task where you pretend to do one of you previous tasks untill somebody guesses it. You can't tell anybody. If the guess it on their own, you win!

Task ideas:
1- acquire 5 minutes of consecutive (2 people) boat time.
2-put scars camel 100 blocks in the air and back down without it dying
3-make 30x30 block pixel art of any secret life member you choose (without anyone seeing you)

Task sugestion: Congrats, you are sherlock Holmes. Find a mystery, secret, or crime and solve it. As a bonus, you are allowed to show your task to one other player who you trust and consider your Watson.

Make a secret tunnel connecting the bases of 3 other members to your own.
Joel and Gem are the two that have started cults before, yet I still feel like there was no one more fitting for that task.
I'd definitely say Mumbo is the most qualified one, having started two cults

What about mangrove planks for the helter skelter instead of oak/dark oak? There's a mangrove tree up in the cherry grove, and I'm sure Gem and the Scotts would let you have some if you asked nicely and/or replanted.

The oldest part of my town was actually build on top of a mound. A mound originally made by groups of natives sucking oysters, and clams out of the Bayou.
