I had neto, sarabia, and van hecke. I upgraded to petrovic, Gordon, and gvardiol. This was made possible by moving salah to kdb, all for a -8. This is an example of an acceptable -8.

About taking -4 to replace Maguire to have 15 playing players for BB, I think there is a scenario where you might just leave him and BB with 14 players. I am in that situation and I have 0.0 in the bank, so my -4 would be to take out one of my midfielders KDB, Foden, Son, Palmer or Gordon to free up funds for a new defender. I dont really like that to be honest. Especially because the DGW defenders are not that exciting or likely to get clean sheets. Instead I am considering just holding Maguire, BB with 14 playing players and then go into GW38 with 2 FT. I think that could be worth more points over the two GWs...

It's not "lucky" that Chelsea, and by extension Palmer, have gotten the most penalties of any EPL team this season. Their team is packed with -divers- people who "go down easily" in the box, and it would have been even more if one of their chief "architects" of the face plant (Sterling) hadn't missed a lot games this season. (Speaking not from a pejorative POV, of course, but objectively from an FPL analytics perspective - after all I bought Palmer the moment he was confirmed as CHE's pen taker for precisely that reason and thus got on the train earlier that most.) 😅
