I've checked it a few days ago. Really enjoyed it. Definitely, with Perturbator, and Lazerhawk...they're in the lead of refreshing the olden structures of what Synthwave/Industrial/Metal was, and setting the new rules of mixture-genre-like music, that goes beyond boundaries previously established. Great job.
It's like GosT in his Century Media Records times crossed over with Surgeryhead, but also added traces of sounds of his older works. Awesome combo, that is. Lot more metal traits than ever before. Hope you enjoy your new home at Metal Blade Records, James.
My most anticipated album of the year. I’ve listened to 75% of it so far, and it’s definitely one of his darkest and most extreme. I love seeing comments with elitist tears.
Gost truly went monstrous on this one, he never dissapoints. Yet another absolute banger by the Dark Synth Godkiller himself. Pushing algorythm with the comments, people must hear this banger
Not many are gonna appreciate this if they have never followed Gost previous music and been ok with the new music direction he has gone… I’m surprised this is here on Metal Blade Records tbh. Not what I expected but any exposure to new crowds for an artist is a good thing. Best of luck Gost in your future endeavors.
If you are surprised Gost is on MetalBlade, then I'd argue you haven't really followed Gost. At all. Or are familiar with MetalBlade. I've followed Gost since Non Paradisi was released on BLOOD MUSIC, and am acquaintances with James. This is very much par the course. Personally, I find this brilliant, but nothing is surprising when compared to any previous efforts and I'd wager James would say the same himself.
@@jefff3023 S/T was my fav out of it and then Behemoth which lead to later stuff but all the great stuff is recognizable which tome is what makes Gost unique
while I haven't gotten to it yet, I have to assume Golgotha isn't a cover of the classic Wumpscut song off his album Embryodead, a song that Gost should ABSOLUTELY have covered.
Valediction was the only Gost album I listened to, Valediction and now this. It goes so hard it's unreal. When they hit they hit, like Valediction it's a front to back listen.
I'm a gost fan, very proud of him and even prouder he got picked up by metal blade. This album kicks ass but it doesnt tickle my pickle. Too many breaks and sound bites to chop up the action. There's some mountainslaying riffs in here that needed to be committed to. But im also not the artist 😂. A lot of gost grows on me over time anyways, in sure ill be back here years later eating my words.

Which Were The Synthwave Older Structures?.
@@gianmarcobaudazzi9961 a pioneer i can think of right now , is Vehlinggo. But there are so many

Maybe my favorite Gost album ever, Prophecy, Death in Bloom, and Obtituary are so good. Everything is but those are top 3
Always wanted to hear the successor to Possessor, and this did not disappoint. Gost back at what he does best.

excellent album. thanks for namedropping!

Much stronger release than the previous two, keep it up!
Possessor is still the (black) goat tho.
Album is sic and “Widow Song” is the shit, amongst so many others, but yea such a rad jam.🤘💀🤘🎸🎹
yes, widow song is awesome
This album is a veritable feast of dystopian delicacies.
5/5 a good mix of all previous vibes. hope another tour is in the near future.
In love with the fantastically industrial cyber metal,as others before me have said this is refreshing and I want more! ❤
Holy hell this is Gost's best release. So freaking good!!! Glad you guys got him on Metal Blade. Brilliant!
I do miss GosT's old darksynth times, however even then, his new current genre he is focusing on goes hard asf
This feels like a conglomerate of his past works ♥️ I hear bits of Behemoth, Non Paridisi, Possessor, and Rites of Love and Reverence.
a large chunk of the Textorcist OST also. Several of the patches sound exactly like the synths he used there.
@@jacobkruse1495 I completely forgot about that album! I gotta go back and listen again!
This makes my soul burst into 🔥🔥🔥

We are so back! A return to form, but evolved at the same time. Love to see it.
Great album. The prophecy is here. 🤘👹🤘
Decadent Decay is incredible and keeps giving me chills

Классная группа!!!!музыка клёвая и песни отличные очень круто и здорово👹🔥🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🔥🔥🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
I love this album I'm buying it on vinyl record
Coolest album I ever heard. Every song is awesome
Always thought maleficarum was GOST heaviest beginning to a song. But Death in bloom just proved me wrong by a long shot!!!!
Hard to pick a stand out track, but i might go with Golgotha
Yes that’s an absolute banger of a track.
would MUCH rather listen to this Gost vs Ghost. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Both are awesome
if you like Ghost then I'm happy for you but I can't stand their music. @@kittavares4334
Ghost blows major soft dong
Just found Gost and can finally stop banging my fist against the post cause I no longer need to insist I see the Gost!!!
Hay Gost, can you please come back to Portland Oregon and do a live show 🙏
not what I expected given the cover and label, but I kinda dig it
This is the true sequel to "Possessor" that I was waiting for. Thank you GosT🔥💀🔥
This is a breath of fresh air tbh
YOOOOO THIS SLAPS!!!!!

I listened to the first 15 minutes of this thinking it was a Ghost record =^/
PANOS COSMATOS
💀😈👻👻👻😈💀
If the devil is upside down does this mean this is a Christian album?
Staple hallmarks of christianity are hypocrisy, death, crusades, humanity at its lowest. So sure, you can think of this as a very Christian album 😂
Hundekot im Quadrat = Gost
💀
dynamic.
I... no.
I like Gost for the heavy electronics shit, the metal bits do nothing for me sadly
Its like Depeche Mode meets bad metal
For real. Freaking Orgy
THIS IS BAD BUTT AS HECK
The Klickbassdrum make me angry👎
It used to be better.
wtf is this?
Дерьмище, не тратьте время...
No wonder this label and most of the other so called top labels are going down when they sign shit like this
Site your sources or stfu.
yes, one album you don't like negates everything Metal Blade ever did. stop being such a poser.
@@kittavares4334 more than one album idiot your the poser
Stop crying you elitist whinge bag. Open your mind. This album is awesome.
What a poser. You're an example of why metal heads are looked at as jokes. Thanks
