Good Video man , will definitely visit this street and stay.
The Big Easy is my favourite bar on 172.
The Parrot, used to be known as The Pickled Parrot that started on street 104, recently moved to 172.
Just stayed at the Moonlight in street 172, it was indeed good. It dawned on me whilst there how this street seems (as mentioned) to have everything within, then I spotted you're great little video. 172 street is essentially near to the Riverside and busy nightlife zone reachable within walking distance. Great vid, keep up the good work. Your video was enjoyable.

you got a lot in for us in the video. I was looking stuff up on Agoda while you were talking. Do those travel agencies charge a lot extra for your tickets. I heard a lot of them do. and it's better to go right to the bus station or train station IF it's convenient for you. What's your experience with that. 🤔🤔
It depends if you have to spend money getting to the airport, bus station, train or boat stations only to find they are booked out .
A good example was the TH-cam video I posted yesterday was $15 by Using Booking.com but if I had walked in off the street $17;
Today I checked again and the room was $14
Not only in Cambodia but other cities and countries around the world the photos of the buses are always not what you actually ride on .
The buses in Cambodia have new bus photos but then go Budget $7/$10 and end up riding in a rust bucket or spend $18+ a ride in a luxury new bus .
Within Cambodia I prefer and use Luxury Mini vans latest models high roof high back seats with seat belts and air conditioning total number of people on board 12
These Travel at 100+ KPH passing everything slow moving vehicles on the road , where a bus hasn't got the speed to pass a slow moving vehicles.
Me personally always book my very first accommodation night via a booking APP then doesn't matter what time your bus , boat, plane, arrives in the city you arrive in doesn't matter the time you have some place to go too .
Rather than walk the streets of a city or town you have never been too
I've lived in Phnom Penh Cambodia since 2004 19 years this year and been to every place in Cambodia, been to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines many times but always book my very first night on Booking.com or what ever APP others use , mostly the same place I stayed at the previous time.
But you never know if it's the same as your last visit so only book 1 night then if it's the same extend my stay .
Booking online or travel agencies at least you know you have a ticket and probably have to pay a fare to get to the company you booked with .
Paying to go and get your ticket then going back to your accommodation then return or finding out that particular times is already booked out.
All this hassle to save a few bucks.
Me personally like everything in order even if I paid $1/$5 Extra.

When everyone says prices. Do they mean US dollars?
The main currency used in Cambodia is the USA dollar the local currency the riel is only used as small change.
That's why tens of thousands of Australians, USA, Canada, UK, New Zealanders Retire in Cambodia at Retirement age or younger as the ATMs pump out USA dollars and everything is sold and bought in USA dollars.
If you are From USA then you lose Nothing in currency exchange rates.
All European countries using the Euro € its a great saving on exchange rates.
All other Asian countries they only use their own currencies and its a huge lose on exchange rates.
