To simplify matters, your life is dictated by your emotions. Make it a habit to be aware of your emotions as they're the mirror of your life being manifested before you. Practicing Gratitude is the doorway to love peace and harmony. ❤
Update.. flow or effortless being is just that Returning to stillness is easy to slip into.. or perhaps should say drop into but I like the word slip as it denotes the ease
Re: Luisa's question: "Who/what PROJECTS these thoughts into us?" I can only speak for my own experiences. My parents and some others projected most of their thoughts & feelings into me when I had no defenses to either stop them or alter their "projections". I clearly recall times when I did not believe nor wanted to believe some of the ugly, nonsense they were "projecting" into my mind (conditioning) BUT had no way to stop it PLUS I had a deep need and desire to please them so I just took in all of their INSANITY and made it my own. Much later in life, I entered psychotherapy to undo the mental/emotional damages put here by my parents and others but have not succeeded in undoing all of it so far. I am not saying that therapy is the ultimate solution but it helped me a lot to arrive at this place where I now can benefit from David's teachings.
Wonderful story. so many parallels. Every incremental step in awakening is delicious. Why speed to the end and miss the delight of all those bites. thanks to you all who pump love into our world . these are great times.
This explanation is so clear, especially towards the end - how the words simulation, computer, maya, illusion, demiurge etc, really are alluding to the same thing - different ways of different times and cultures are saying the same thing. Thank you David, this is such a clear explanation.

Life is our mirror what we tell ourselves is very important I am in my sixties most people think I am forty. I always tell youngsters I can do a ten-mile run at the drop of a hat. The other month I had to prove it to get to work on time and I ran all the way up a steep hill.
There is certainly being aware 24/7 and that being aware is constantly here during the waking state but in terms of that Awareness being aware of itself I'm not sure how that would be possible? since the Non-Dual Observer (Awareness) is the very Subject in every experience and we are that Subject (Awareness) but how can it be known when it is not an Object? . In Buddhism it is also mentioned about Co-Dependent Arising that the Subject (Awareness) only arises when the Object (Consciousness) arises and that both are inherently empty. Both the Perceiver of the Clouds and the Clouds themselves are Empty. There is no Awareness outside of that just like in deep sleep at night when no phenomenon arises.

He says you are ‘aware’ of your thoughts .. so you can’t be your thoughts.. so if we use this logic you are ‘aware’ of your awarness so you can’t be awarness?🤔
Yes and no. Your thoughts can't be aware of themselves, only awareness can. Yes, awareness is aware of itself, but that's because it's on top. There is nothing that come before awareness, it is our source. Thoughts are coming and going, therefore, they are not us, they arise in the container of awareness.
It's funny how David mentions Dauglas Harding (the Headless Way) but completely misses Dauglas's basic message. It would be worth it for anyone reading this to look into the teachings of Dauglas Harding and the Headless Way experiments to actually SEE one's true nature as Infinity (using just one passible label!).
@@eastmeetswest5939 Agreed. I have found that the phrase: Awareness being aware of itself tends to keep people searching within duality. E.g. Enlightened Being as a new, and better identity. Again it's language and semantics. Knowing is of the mind with a label, measurement and description. Without it, one would not know what one was aware of.
This is why I find it so hard to take awakening advice from someone like David. He was born into it and experienced it for the first 5 years of his life effortlessly going back to presence at will. It’s like someone wining tattslotto then giving financial advice on how to get rich. He describes the state well but there’s nothing to help the seeker here.
David has helped several thousand people to realize their true nature. This comment is just a reflection of your own limitation as you're still listening with the mind.

The knower, the means of knowing and the known, awareness aware of itself, is all there ever is
