whenever i watch community im oddly fascinated by jeff's hairline and different hairstyles through the run of the show, partly for this reason. im glad his hair surgery went well it looks pretty good and natural

This. Is. My favorite part of the ENTIRE show. Not to mention the first episode I caught on live TV. Seeing it before everything else confused me when I watched the first episode. I didn’t know Jeff and Pierce were main characters and I thought Annie was a secretary and Abed a filmmaker.
You would think that Jeff is only there to react to the other characters but he has a lot of amazing moments on the show, this and him freaking out have to be my favorites
I still think this episode is superior to paint ball episode. Dean handing Annie the orange and Chang somehow making things more unhinged are unmatched :D
That's the joke! He used "Dean" to make a pun out of college, instead of the other 2 words which have better phonetic syllables to be replaced with "Dean".
