Rabindra Behera sells Aloodam Dahibara near AG Square in Bhubaneswar. The hardworking man and his wife wake up at 4 am everyday to prepare the foodstuff and come to AG Square in a moped from his house around 6 km away at around 9 pm. His loyal customers wait for him as he sets up shop. He sets up his shop and starts serving his waiting customers after making an offering to God. His foodstuff is sold out by 2 pm. Aloodam Dahibara as a delicacy originated from Cuttack, probably catering to the demand of office goers decades back but it has become very popular across Odisha. People usually prefer Aloodam Dahibara as an ideal 'brunch' (breakfast cum lunch) because it's filling and tasty too. In Bhubaneswar, around 600-700 people eke out a living from selling Aloodam Dahibara seller.
