Welcome to Electronics Innovation,
In this video, we are going to talk all about "IoT based Smart Patient Blood Oxygen monitor with ESP8266 and sending critical alerts to the hospital management and patient loved ones" This project is truly designed for patients whose blood oxygen levels need to be monitored 24x7, for example, covid patients or any other patients who are on the ventilator. This project continuously monitors the blood oxygen levels and logs them to the ubidots IoT platform. also, it will send critical medical alerts like voice calls, SMS, EMail, and telegram message to the Hospital management and patient loved ones with the help of Ubidots events and alerts features.
I am so excited about this project. so, without wasting much time let's dive into the episode.

Very good tutorial! I appreciate.
But I have used esp8266 and followed all the steps as you suggested. But I am getting the value 0 for both BPM and SpO2 in the serial monitor. Hence the value 0 is also entering to the ubidots. Could you please help me with this?

I have done it this project and connet with ubidots, I using esp32-DEVKIT V1 Board with using GY-MAX30102 without cut the 4k7 ohm resistor line and sensor DS18B20 (for body temperature).
I have using library VEGA_MAX30102 for MAX30102 monitoring heart rate and spo2 realtime.
for monitoring hr and spo2, you must make some filter maybe you collect 20 beat and send the data to ubidots.

Can I get some help in this IOT project:
Inputs are random health points which are instantaneous and continous
such as (BP, Heart Rate ECG etc.)
Storing all these data points in cloud server and accessing it as well as demanded by services required
for every patient.

Do i have to Desolder the register from max30100 sensor as some videos are showing.
Its dont connecting wifi .. it still showing wait for wifi but it did not connected.
Hi sir,I have followed the same procedure as you did,but when I uploaded the code I am getting reading 0,0 for both BPM and spo2.
I had used max30100.
But if I upload a code to display value on serial monitor the values are displaying on serial monitor
I'm getting the same error.

I tried external resistors of 4.7k ohm but the max 30100 sensor is still not glowing ....pls help
sorry, did you finish it. i have same problem
I believe u also have to remove the onboard pull up resistors before connecting the external 4.7k resistors you can see he has removed those tiny resistors on the module
