After watching 24 lectures from professor Zwiebach.
then a lecture on addition of angular momentum by a different instructor isn't so amazing.
    We want Prof Zwiebach!
Not disrespecting the instructor of this video though. He did a great job in giving the lecture so far.

Those who cannot find the corresponding notes on OCW, just check out Barton's book,"Mastering Quantum Mechanics", it is basically a more complete version of the 8.04-8.06 Lecture notes.

The magnetic moment of the electron's orbit is about the same as that due to its spin. The hyperfine structure SHOULD include the proton magnetic moment's interaction with each.

    41:24 Shouldn't hyperfine be α⁶?

Did he get the hyperfine structure mixed up? Shouldnt it be the interaction of the proton magnetic moment with the magnetic field produced by the electron

    note on:
    4. Hyperfine splitting
    5. Spin-Orbit coupling
is not not available in the pdf of chapter 10. Does anyone know where I can find it?

    at 30:00, surely he meant j = 1, m = 0...
