@Daddy Freeze, my advice to you. Not every video you see online you should react to. This topic is a very sensitive one. You should have gone through the comment section of that very video that man did, people were insulting him left and right. That man is talking rubbish. I am an igbo man and I based in US, I am currently building my own mansion in Anambra state. Where else should I build it? We cannot continue developing other parts of Nigeria.
Don't mind him. He's just look for engagement and social media money just like the old Igbo doctor that I feel should know better. How can a full fledged Igbo man say building a mansion in his homeland, his roots, is a waste. He needs to be checked. Even if his family is at feuds with his kinsmen, coming to the public to say this is a big shame for someone as educated and enlightened as he is. These are the people that don't mind selling their brothers at any opportunity bc they dislike their umunna.
You guys are stupid. Did he say you should not build a house in the East or your state? Build a decent bungalow in the village and build your mansion in the cities in your state like Awka. All those village mansions that you build for lizards and dust is a waste of money because you only visit once in a while and most of you still don't retire there. You just build it to show off and to oppress the poor villagers. Dr didn't ask you not to build, but build a decent bungalow in the village where you visit once 🔂 n a while and you can build your mansion in the city. Common sense!
Them don kill and pursue Igbos from the North before (My grandfather was killed in the North), them done threaten to throw igbos for lagos lagoon before. If we no build for our fatherland where we wan build na?
That’s a lie from the pit of hell! Igbo mansions are not wastes, anyone who say that is a fool and irrational. Investments are not only supposed to be measured in monetary terms. The houses Igbos build in their villages are investments that yield intrinsic benefits. These mansions add values to the real estate growth of Igbo villages. Ajah and Ikorodu in Lagos state were typical villages 30yrs ago, but today they’re big cities. In fact due to these mansions, most Igbo villages have become urbanized. You guys want Igbos to buy every village land in Yoruba and Abuja villages and develop them to become urbanized cities, while you guys keep castigating Igbo villages as undeveloped.
You can build a vacation house in the village, but a mansion is not a good financial investment. It can be a type of investment, but it's not financial. There is no financial profit in it. Second, do not be deceived , it's business opportunities that attracts investment, development, ppl, not buildings. That's why Okigwe has not changed in decades. @ that’s not an enlightened and liberated viewpoint. Your mindset is the type that do not believe in industrialization and urbanization of Igbo land. Does Ogun State has seaport or airport? Does Onitsha and Aba have airport or seaport. If the industrialization of Aba was sustained, by now Aba would have expanded towards Port Harcourt, Owerri, Umuahia and Uyo, which would have become a conurbation. It’s a shortsighted mindset to hold the view that mansions in Igbo villages are wastes. That’s poverty mindset. The mansions Abiriba and Anambra people build in their villages have upgraded their homeland from rural to urban. Is that a waste? 30 yrs ago tenants predominantly live only in Owerri, those who live in my village around Owerri were teachers. But today we build apartments in my village and tenants pay as much as #350k for 2bedroom apartments and commute to Owerri and environs for work and business. Will you say mansions in my supposed village are wastes? Owerri to Okigwe is about 39miles and on good roads that’s about 40minutes drive. In America people drive 1hr to work. That means if roads are good in Igbo land, people can live in their mansions in Okigwe and commute daily to work in Owerri, Umuahia or Aba. You guys should stop using your limited viewpoints to propagate falsehoods and backwardness.
@ANELECHUKWU Note I said "mansion" and not all buildings. Secondly, note I used the adjective "financial". You can make other arguments for the mansion, but It's not a sound financial investment. If you want to industrialize your village, build a business, not a mansion. Your mansion is not generating money for you or your village.
@ some of you guys make uninformed assumptions and arguments. The context here is mansions Igbos build in their villages. Note that anyone who built a mansion doesn’t have financial returns in mind, he’s not a hungry man, and certainly has means that generated him income he used to build his mansion. So Mansions are not built as investment properties for financial gains, rather it’s an investment with intrinsic value, that makes the owners happy. I’ve noticed that people who bandy this narrative are not wealthy people. It’s like a poor man who says beer is bitter, simply because he doesn’t have money to buy Guilder or Star. Two of my cousins built mansions in our compound and more of us will build and add more mansions to theirs. One has returned to his mansion and is very happily living in his mansion. You should face those who buy Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, yatch, private jets, Gucci and those who pop champagnes.
Igbo man acquires a property in Lagos and he's accused of trying to take over. He builds in his village, it is a waste. He elects to leave to start his own country, Biafra but must be dragged back for "the great one Nigeria". He tries to stay in the one Nigeria and is constantly asked to go back to the east. What does the rest of Nigeria really want from Igbos? Now we can't even decide what kind of waste we want our money to be put to? It is more profitable to build a mansion in the forest than to make a tiktok video from Canada.
My dream of owning a big house in my village as a child who merely visits on December periods with my parents kept me focus and i never regretted building one rather gives me joy every time i spend time there with families and friends. You wont know what it feels like.
Igbo mansions are not just about yielding money. What they do: 1) status symbol 2) re development of the war ravaged region 3) old age 4) accommodation for other less successful siblings due to communal living style of igbo 5) legacy 6) To make you keep tabs with your roots 7) more and more which I'll talk about later. I have to sign off now
It is ignorant for someone to say Igbo mansions in their villages are a waste. Firstly, you don't tell people how to spend their hard earned money. After all, no one leaves this life with any mansion, be it in the Igbo villages or elsewhere. Secondly, why won't Igbos build Mansions in their villages but you will expect them to build in Ajah? Is Ajah not someone's village? Thirdly, those mansions are also adding value to Igboland. These hypocrites claiming that the mansions are a waste, will be the first to say the Igbos have nothing to show in their villages. Fourthly, have you heard of some ancient mansions that are now global monuments? These mansions, if protected can become historical monuments that can tell the story of Igbos. Finally, my Igbo brothers build more mansions, with time the tide will change.
Remain Blessed. I will be building mine soon. I reside in the United States like them. I will join in building a monumental edifice soon. Like we all know, no one leaves the planet with a PIN. Nonsense! No one has the right to dictate to people how to spend their money. When people were poor, they were never around to investigate their poverty.
@militarybishop6053, me I'm already planning on how to build mine. It's too late. Akurouno❤️. One day, all our buildings will make those places they call villages today, tomorrow's towns.
I saw one that set up a private well furnished hospital that also serve his villagers at interval when he brings a medical team. That is to my mind a great man
Houses we are building in our villages are not rental properties, I have a house Lagos , Abuja that is in other peoples state. The mansion I built in my village is not for rental purposes ok don’t get it twisted.
We will keep building mansions until Igbo land becomes a mini Dubai. It's our culture & deeply rooted in our blood. It is a way of developing Igbo land and employing our local bricklayers, carpenters & others. No Fed govt presence & fed employment opportunities in Igbo land, so let the Igbos develop their land. Its a cultural thing, so dont criticise what you dont know. If you have excessive money, why not set up a mansion in your village.
Imagine advising ony'igbo not to build mansion in his hometown, if has the money. Knowing that it has been his priority, before leaving the village for greener pasture elsewhere.
I bought a plot of land in my village Nnewi, in 2012 for 1.8M today you will not get a plot of land less than 40m if I have been listen to this kind of advice i will be investing in Lagos, because people like me and others have been invested in in our place it has seen a lot of development.
You guys are silly. Because it's igbo land. That's why you think it is a waste, but you are buying kpangolo houses in Lagos and Abuja with millions of naira. Igbo people. Do not lose gard. You guys need to develop your region abeg.
Ask freezer why he doesn't collect in that manners when he spend his money on cars and watches. Doesn't repair his luxurious car when he have bought Keke?
Igbos never forgot and will never foget the losses incurred in historical antecedents in Nigeria. Building mansions in our homeland and our roots are more spiritual than the eyes can see. An average igbo man should have an Obi, a meeting place in his compound where he communes with his kinsmen and ancestors. Where else will you do this if you don't have the infrastructure in place. Again, its a thing of pride and accomplishment to have a palatial edifice in your ancestral land (if you can). Even if we visit once a year, it makes us not to forget home no matter where we are. Bc wether you hold American or British or Canadian passports, you are forever a diasporan. You are not one of them spiritually and genetically. Your roots are part of your soul.
Thanks you DF. I bought my second house in Lekki two years ago due to the advice you shared. This is my retirement house and I'm thinking of using it for a short stay while I'm away. I'm super grateful for buying it. My first house on the mainland generates over 6m and rentals increase every two year. These houses are great investments for me. I'm in my very early 40 and I have something to rely on when I come to Nigeria.
Igbos have mansions in the most expensive places in Nigeria and I believe they should have better mansions in their village that's my opinion because you can not have all properties all over Nigeria and not a castle in your village
My friend built a mansion in Imo State. After 1 or 2 burglary issues, they realize it is more expensive to keep security and all to protect the house. They have since converted them into flats and rented part of it so people can be living there. They even moved their parents inside...still had another recent burglary theft issue. They have no intention of living there now and they have spent so much...even building US style underground basement.
We still like it that way. U just mentioned one negative aspect, what abt the positive aspects? I encourage every Igbo person to keep building heavy and heavenly mansions in our villages, and if u can afford it, build industries too and help ur communities in whatever capacity, and help the less privileged.
isn't it a little curious how not even one Igbo, out of the millions of Igbos who build mansions in their villages, has not realized that this practice of building a befitting house to honor one's roots and heritage, is waste of money? Building in the village is a waste if that's the only property one has. These people have multiple high-end properties all around the world, and one token property in the village will not impoverish a man who is a dollar millionaire and billionaire! Please leave our people alone!
Thee is a difference between having a vacation house in the village and having a Manson in the village. A Manson in the village is not a sound financial investment.
Jealousy period nonsense topic . The same people telling us to go develop our place now it’s a waste to them. Please mind your business because it’s a waste to you and not to us that’s our ancestral homes it’s there for our children and grandchildren to go to anytime. That man lives abroad and buys houses there in another man’s land but building in our encentral home is a waste to you people.
Building empty houses is not development. Equipped hospitals, infrastructure, tech innovation, social amenities, intl trade routes/aitports/seaports r wat promote development
@@aeiou0123You don't tell a man how to spend his hard earned money. Even Europe wealthy men build summer houses where they go to cool off. These houses are usually beautiful and expensive mansions. Building a country home is psychologically fulfilling. It is a thing of joy and pride. Don't think those guys a fools. Imagine the way you are advising people who are financially better off than you on finance. Very insulting
Everything you mentioned are the responsibilities of local govt and investors and not residents. Paying taxes creates funds for infrastructures and maintenance. If it wasn't because of our greedy leaders, Igbo land would be more developed.
@@aeiou0123 Building a mansion in their villages is development. Don't dictate to people how to develop their home. It's the responsibility of the government to create a viable environment for people to invest in all that you mentioned.
@@aeiou0123And if it is the duty of private individuals to do all these things u enumerated, what then is the duty of the govt? U guys misplace issues. An individual makes his money, builds a mansion according to his taste, and u feel he has to build hospital/school before he treats himself? And for ur info, those who build such houses have money to build 3 or 4 of such. Look at those houses, and tell me if it’s just a run-of-the-mill type of house. By the way, who told you that the owners of such houses don’t have investments?
Omo why do Nigerians always make things tribal? It’s just a conversation. Personally I will say it’s better to build factories and build 4-5 bedrooms duplex especially if you don’t live there. But to each its own. If you want to build a 20bedroom house in the village it’s your money.
Temporary resident holders are not illegal immigrants, the citizen lady needs to be corrected bcos her statement gives the impression that only citizens & PR holders are legal.
In Califonia, because of earthquakes and other natural disaters, they have those kindnif insurance separately from your home insurance. So disasters like flood and fire are covered under a separate insurance. Different from your home insurance. The issue is they will not advise against these things so most people end up loosing their homes. For example most appartments will tell you to get rental insurance, if you don’t have it, they won't rent to you. Rick Ross is charging them paa. Tax claim at the end of the year. On facebook market place, you pay taxes.
Life is not all about profit and loss. Some folks have money to burn and a million dollar mansion in their village is just chicken change for them. It is like saying having a fast car is useless in africa because you can't drive fast. Some people like fast cars and can afford to get one and so they do.
It's part of development lgbo are developing Lagos and all over Nigeria they should build vacation homes in lgbo land ,after the war lgbos lost every properties own
I'm not an Igbo man, but he is speaking the fact, if we allow reasoning to prevail. Comments here are just based on emotions, because he made mention of Igbo's. All what daddy Freeze is saying is "Value"...
@adeyinkaoladapo5863 true. Unfortunately, it's difficult for most people to divorce emotion from reality. It's like arguing about religion with a Nigerian. You will be branded an anti-christ for holding a contrary view.
Continue to develop yoruba land to detriment of other regions, then they tell to go back to your regions. You no get shame? Igbo must go? Igbos go drawn for lagoon?
@tonyodukwe listen to DF properly and don't be blinded by emotion. A house built in the village is not an asset. We igbos build houses most of the time to show off. There is no problem building something back in village as a place to stay but it should not be something over the top. It's not worth it.
It is our culture in Igbo land to return wealth back home. Most of those villages houses are not for rent. Everything is not about money in Igbo land which some other people don't understand because they can sell everything as far as you present money for them. Another one is the lesson from the civil war which is deep rooted in the heart of every Igbo man. Another one is for the development of our land, as the federal government denied us federal infrastructure we should not denie ourselves our own. Check every prominent and influencial Igbo man you know they have big house in the village, do you think they are stupid, they are not because a stupid man can never be progressive in his business. Lagos become what it is today because of the amount of wealth and sacrifices the owners invested on it.
As an Igbo is Lagos or Abuja my state or father or mother land oo. Why should I build.my house in another man state or village and forget to develop or build my house in my father mother land? Why? Tomorrow u will here Igbo must leave Lagos. Tomorrow u will hear Lagos government demolishing only Igbo mansion in Lagos. We will keep developing Igbo land still Igbo land become the most prosperous and economic power house in Nigeria. Other tribe will na be come to Igbo land for opportunities. Mugu
There is no difference between the IGBO great villages and lagos and Abuja what other tribes think is a big building in their states is what the individuals IGBO BIAFRA people built in their villages as a village houses what a great and blessed IGBO BIAFRA TRIBE PEOPLE AND THEIR LAND
Only poor people complain about village mansions. People build in the village NOT for commercial reasons only. Village mansion is not for salary earners. Village mansion is for rich people.
He's talking trash. He probably he decided to retire and bury in Canada. Igbos will not stop to build mansions in the village. It's our culture, it's who we are. He want Igbo villages to be littered with thatch houses,, isn't it? He build in our village and also in the city. He's not a true Igbo man nobody should listen to that efulefu.
I think so too. At his age and education he is spewing this thrash. Look at Igbo millionaires and billionaires, they mostly operate from home, they hold crucial meetings and events at home. This Canadian slave doesn't dream of helping his kinsmen. I thought he was more intelligent than this 😮
It is pathetic for people to comment on what they don't know. Igbi mansions have nothing to do with the economic situation in Nigeria. Igbos are a unique breed and should be left alone to live their lives the way it suits them. I have been to Ekiti and Osun state for funeral of parents of my friends and I saw first hand how and why Lagos is the be all znd end all for some people. Mind your business.
With all the problems all over the world someone is telling you don't build in your country look at what happened in Ukraine ..if my cousin have no property in Nigeria he would have lost everything after living in Ukraine for 22 years, it was even because of his experience that made us abroad started building in Nigeria..please guys this your advice is for you people alone...
Daddy Freeze, do you believe that Igbos are from the lost Tribe of Israel? Do you also believe there is an unseen or divine hand on the Igbo Tribe. The is only one Tribe that went through a genocidal civil war, and in less than 2 decades, they bounced back, shaken down, and runneth over? I can go on and on. We the Igbos are the Tribe that calls any place of settlement, Home!; (either short-term or long-term residency). For the Igbos to have this unwritten law to ensure that they have a comfortable place of abode back in the village; be rest assured it is also Divinely ordained that at the appointed time, many shall see, like in the days of Noah, they shall marvel. The optics might look foolish to a mortal vision, don't worry, the Igbo man is a special breed.
Are Igbos complaining? Why are you crying on another persons head. Igbos are still the richest upon thier waisted village mansion as you call it. For your information, all this mathematics you are doing is because you are a poor man. If you have made money like Igbos you won't be calculating all this. An average Igbo man is comfortable and must build in their village even if he has not built in the town.
Freezer, i have a question for you sir. Why didn't you buy keke instead of spending your money on expensive car and watches when cheaper watches are available?
What he use is all this 1 or 2 years second hand cars that still look as if it is new in Nigeria but in America or Europe and Japan and South Korea it is already second hand cars
This is the view of a very poor man. Mansions serve multiple purposes. In Igbo tradition, your cultural home tells the world who you are. We look down on any man who lives in a mansion in the city while owning a hut in his village. For us, beauty begins from home. You don't tell a man what to do with his money. Most importantly, when it comes to making money, I think Igbos are top in Africa. It's in our DNA. Get lost!!!
@@MichealBiodun-n4q Allow us to build empty mansion. Even my own mansion in the village is empty. Someone is there to keep it clean. You can't tell someone living in Owerri Capital not to build a house in the village.
Honestly speaking if having a huge mansion is your choice that's cool but if you really observe your future plans or movements and your finances it would be wise to build a more modest size
During the Biafran war yoruba and hausa destroyed the igbo land. You took our money and gave us one pound.😊😊😊 we are rebuilding out land with that one pound 💷 you gave us. Please DF focus on those brown roofs in ibadan and all the yoruba land 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
I don’t understand why Yorubas are all twerking on this? What’s your business if an person decides to build a mansion in his village with his own money? if he builds it in Lagos it’s an investment but If it’s in his home village it’s a waste.Omo igbo go and develop your village and omo igbo decides to develop his village it’s now a waste..
Omo are you serious? Houses are not assets? Houses anywhere in Nigeria is an asset, yes some places are better than others. Land in Oba Anambra 15yrs ago was 250k today its minimum 45m. I bought a land in Benin 6yrs ago for 250k today it’s 15m. I regret not buying an acre there then. Then Dollar wise 250k was $600 today 15m is $9k so I’m still up $8400. Insurance 100% cover natural disaster I’m here in San Francisco Bay Area California. Yes, insurance can tell you that they no longer cover your area but that is before you file any claim or before anything happens to your property. But if they cover before anything happens you will get 100% coverage.
@adeyinkaoladapo5863 I can see you are one of those people with nothing but like to argue online with people. Ok, keep renting and don’t buy a house listening to people that think house is not an asset. At the end when your mate are living properties (Assets) for their next of kin, your own go de cuss you. Go ask the person that bought a 4bedroom duplex in lekki 1 20yrs ago if his/her house is an asset.
I am truly, truly sick and tired of people yapping about Igbo mansions. Please stop and mind your own business. Those who are building big mansions in Igbo land are those who can comfortably afford it. So, how is that a waste if they can comfortably afford it? Mind your own business. People do whatever they want to do with their own money. This is simple.
Your brain need to be check...The best thing you can do for yourself is to have a Mansion in your home town. That's one of the greatest achievement. Stop discouraging people if you don't have
When rhey build in your Region or so called bug city, you demolish and ask them to go to rheir place and develop. Now they do that, ohhh it's a waste",pls you all should remove your eyes from IGBO homes. If you can't build yours, allow those who wants to do that. You're all good in cancelling IGBO'S...
Only short term thinkers, think it's a waste you'll forgetting Dubai was a desert 🏜️, someone gonna start something, Nigeria needs development not investment, you guys are looking at it from a investment point of view and a short term investor for that matter, if we don't develop our own communities who will, every city has it's humble beginning, everybody done forget say Lagos was ones a village too before it become a urban city, rome wasn't built in a day.
I agree with you, but what's development without the People. You guyz are building mansions in villages, only to live and stay there in a month or two, between December and January, and you're back to your work stations after that.
@adeyinkaoladapo5863 is not everything that's profit and lose, something's are for the experience. Be it 1 month or 2 days. No be everybody won flip house for profit.
Anyone who builds a mansion in his village, certainly has money generating investments. Your arguments against Igbo mansions are unnecessary and unimportant! If your argument against Igbo mansions is resale, I know of a Yoruba woman and an Igbo man who own houses in Kaduna town, but are not getting buyers for years now, despite offering them at far reduced prices. So what’s the difference? Have you guys thought about numerous business and job opportunities created in Igbo villages when these mansions are built? Stop using your biased and shortsighted viewpoints or situation to judge others. I live in America and can debunk your bias against Igbo mansions. My cousin sold his house here and relocated to his mansion in Igboland and he’s happier than ever. The fact that you don’t visit your village due to witches and wizards or whatever reasons, doesn’t mean that those of us who don’t have witches and wizards in our villages don’t visit our villages. You hypocrites should leave Igbos alone. The lady is buying lands in the undeveloped country side (village) of ice cold Minnesota, hoping for these country side (village) lands to be developed, but she’s calling Igbo mansions waste. Buildings or structures on any land don’t appreciate, rather what appreciates is land on which it’s built. So mansions in Igboland also appreciate, but they’re not built for resale. The lands you guys are talking about in America are in American villages, just as Igbo villages. These mansions in Igbo land add beauty to our homeland,
Omo no house roof will cost 19m. My sister just did brand new roof in a 6unit apartment in Awoyaya in Lagos for 6.5m just April last year. 19m ke? Yes, I believe building mansions you visit for only 2weeks a year is a waste due to the fact that Naira is useless. Instead build a nice 4-5bed duplex and build factories that will produce and hire people creating jobs. Daddy freeze things are not as expensive as people make them out to be.

What they do:
1) status symbol
2) re development of the war ravaged region
3) old age
4) accommodation for other less successful siblings due to communal living style of igbo
5) legacy
6) To make you keep tabs with your roots
7) more and more which I'll talk about later.
They are deceiving themselves, they should leave Great Igbo People alone
I saw one that set up a private well furnished hospital that also serve his villagers at interval when he brings a medical team. That is to my mind a great man
Houses we are building in our villages are not rental properties, I have a house Lagos , Abuja that is in other peoples state. The mansion I built in my village is not for rental purposes ok don’t get it twisted.
Exactly
Don't mind them. I wonder why people look at everything monetary and materially.
Don't mind them
They think every house is for commercial purposes.
If you have excessive money, why not set up a mansion in your village.
walai this information is golden.
Dint have to watch this episode I think the comment section has done enough justice to this topic😂😂😂
This our village mansion is now getting them mad,😂😂 we just starting, we're about to enter next stage which is building castles
Very good topics base on business in America, I'm really leaning
Try to dey block your left ear once in a while, it’s seems to be conflicting with the other. Better still , watch and listen again.
Ask freezer why he doesn't collect in that manners when he spend his money on cars and watches. Doesn't repair his luxurious car when he have bought Keke?
Or we should tell you people to develop your region.
The crazy thing is that yall never listen.
DONT MIND USELESS IDIOTS THE OBSESSION WITH ANYTHING IGBOS IS CRAZY
It's called "Force Majeure in Insurance".
Daddy Freeze or whatever you call yourself see you see advice😆😂🤣😅
So your advice now is them to build it in lagos abi😂😂😂😂
So they should keep developing other places and not their hometown
What I do with my money is nobody's business. What you do with your money is nobody's business.
isn't it a little curious how not even one Igbo, out of the millions of Igbos who build mansions in their villages, has not realized that this practice of building a befitting house to honor one's roots and heritage, is waste of money? Building in the village is a waste if that's the only property one has. These people have multiple high-end properties all around the world, and one token property in the village will not impoverish a man who is a dollar millionaire and billionaire! Please leave our people alone!
Anything the Igbos do in Nigeria is a debate topic, for something that is not affecting you in any way, why can't people mind their business?
it is our culture. And the effect of the civil war on our people. The story long.
Thee is a difference between having a vacation house in the village and having a Manson in the village. A Manson in the village is not a sound financial investment.
No one knows the future, there could be conflicts that require people to move to the east and leave in.
Please we are NDI IGBO Yoruba people and the rest 😊 let Igbos be we know what we are doing
For our village for Anambra rent na 1m yearly
This is an eye opener oh
@@aeiou0123
Building a mansion in their villages is development.
Igbo village is now Nigeria problem
As in eeh everything about Igbo they worry them day and night.
As in eeh everything about Igbo they worry them day and night. If we cough or sneeze they put eye
Omo why do Nigerians always make things tribal? It’s just a conversation. Personally I will say it’s better to build factories and build 4-5 bedrooms duplex especially if you don’t live there. But to each its own. If you want to build a 20bedroom house in the village it’s your money.
Mumu man you be daddyfreeze
My brother please take it easy..
Daddy Freez is not against the Igbo developing the South East.
He is mumu man bro, He should go and advice Aboki and Ronu people to go invest in east
We are not building that mansion in village for financial purpose
Says who? For me, it's a goal
Life is not all about profit and loss. Some folks have money to burn and a million dollar mansion in their village is just chicken change for them. It is like saying having a fast car is useless in africa because you can't drive fast. Some people like fast cars and can afford to get one and so they do.
It's part of development lgbo are developing Lagos and all over Nigeria they should build vacation homes in lgbo land ,after the war lgbos lost every properties own
If you put what DF is saying in context, he is right. I'm an Igbo man and his submission makes sense.
A village house is not an asset.
Igbos go drawn for lagoon?
mumu do you own a house 🏠? because if you do you will not say that. what is asset?
@tonyodukwe listen to DF properly and don't be blinded by emotion. A house built in the village is not an asset.
We igbos build houses most of the time to show off.
There is no problem building something back in village as a place to stay but it should not be something over the top.
It's not worth it.
Is a house they want to live in. Everything is not to make money.
Pls Daddy freeze can you connect me to the lady that said you can buy land here in the Usa? I prefer buying Land here in the Usa.
I thought he was more intelligent than this 😮
House in village is good but not a mansion in village
It is pathetic for people to comment on what they don't know. Igbi mansions have nothing to do with the economic situation in Nigeria. Igbos are a unique breed and should be left alone to live their lives the way it suits them. I have been to Ekiti and Osun state for funeral of parents of my friends and I saw first hand how and why Lagos is the be all znd end all for some people.
Mind your business.
Did she say WFG?
Please igbos if u want to build please ..
Get lost!!!
Empty mansion
Why are you crying?
I thought Yoruba are asking Igbos to go😂@@MichealBiodun-n4q
@@MichealBiodun-n4q
Allow us to build empty mansion.
Even my own mansion in the village is empty. Someone is there to keep it clean. You can't tell someone living in Owerri Capital not to build a house in the village.
Honestly speaking if having a huge mansion is your choice that's cool but if you really observe your future plans or movements and your finances it would be wise to build a more modest size
in the villages or country side i mean
Mumu man 📞 himself Doctor hungry man..
Daddy frezz insurance covers natural disasters you can add for more or remove
I which they can put such building into other use that would benefit the indigines within that area
😆😂😂😅 or they should build it in Lagos
@@uzopaul871😂😂. No mind poor man
During the Biafran war yoruba and hausa destroyed the igbo land.
650k today is not 650k in 10yrs pls....you need to compare it in terms of Future Value.
He said House not land...listen!listen!! Make una dey learn
25:23 force majeure.
For igbo land mansion is a waste because igbo land is not people's homeland abi?
8 bedroom roofing with 6m that pure lie
the Statement is wrong because her tribalise it. mansions in any village in Nigeria is for Show off
Only short term thinkers, think it's a waste you'll forgetting Dubai was a desert 🏜️, someone gonna start something, Nigeria needs development not investment, you guys are looking at it from a investment point of view and a short term investor for that matter, if we don't develop our own communities who will, every city has it's humble beginning, everybody done forget say Lagos was ones a village too before it become a urban city, rome wasn't built in a day.
Mind your business.
Very silly human being...
Your own opinions not compelling 😁
These mansions in Igbo land add beauty to our homeland,
Trust yoruba people at your own peril
Rubbish talk
It's not your money. Why bother?
Whose snoring

Sir, i don't want be rude to you but this your topic no follow.
With what material? With Aluminum, or AlZn(a mixture of aluminum and Zinc, or with stone coated Gerrard ..abeg, if you no know you no know
@adeyinkaoladapo5863 Nigerians and argument for argument sake. Like say na you wan tell me weytin I don do like 3x in the last 3yrs. Anyways, arguing on the internet is pointless. You win and you can pay 20m for your own.
