Thomas Edison did go to school. After withdrawing from formal school, Edison was homeschooled by his mother, Nancy Edison. She was a former teacher and recognized her son's potential. She encouraged his curiosity and provided him with books that sparked his interest in science and invention. Edison was largely self-taught. He had a voracious appetite for reading and learning. He read extensively on subjects like science, technology, and mechanics, which influenced his later work as an inventor.

I dont always agree with Daddy Freeze but then, he is one of the few Nigerians that are challenging the archaic ideology of our society that has restricted our youths ,wasted the potentials of generations through servile obedience to prefabricated life.
Can you imagine a man of over 45 still paying student loan fir a degree that fetches a pittance of less than 100k a year? The only skill that our universities have taught the older generation is to steal, loot and squander national funds😂😂😂

The importance of University education will stand the test of time. Look around you; every advancement originate from University education. If you self learn, you can only get information. In University you get knowledge. Knowledge move things. The problem is that alot of people have access to information on the internet but that is not knowledge. The importance of University system will stay for eternity….
@@Jtol88 You made a point. In terms of application, environment and human behavior determines that.. This is where alot of people got it mixed up thinking University is not important. Most American schools at the postgraduate level for instance, solve industry problems. They invest millions of dollar. That is where the application begins. If you are in a place that don’t have industry, application of the knowledge will be farfetched for you. The fact that the application is farfetched for you does not negate the usefulness of the knowledge. Knowledge is knowing that tomato is classified under fruit.
