- The Prince of Wales received big hugs from admirers in Belfast as he took part in a walkabout on the second day of his tour of the UK as part of his new Homewards project. William visited Skainos, a community centre in east of the Northern Ireland capital, where he met with local officials and workers involved with helping to eradicate homelessness. Well said, most people choose to forget he had 2 parents. As loving and caring as Diana was, she also gave the impression of being impulsive and volatile. In my opinion I think his father was the more stabling influence and many of Williams good traits are his.

Finland did a similar programme years ago and has very low, near to zero, numbers of homeless people now. He is on the right path.
I mentioned this on a different post yesterday. Finland has developed a great solution to homelessness. I’m sure PW is aware of this.
Knowing prince William he will have done his homework probably studying how Finland have done it even asking and taking advice from them and of course he needs the goverment input who ever is in power he won’t alienate one over the other that’s not how to do this, as for the homeless charities they are probably saying thank goodness help has arrived in the form of prince William. Thank you prince William your legacy will go on your mom would be at your side encouraging you if she was still here 😊
Yes Prince William has said he's looking at Finland and others that have been successful in tackling this massive problem.

I'm going to rain on your parade here, but I very much doubt a millionaire who already has three houses of his own now, inherited the Duchy of Cornwall, and will inherit even more, is going to inspire someone who lives rough. I think he'll make an excellent king, and I like how he and his family come across, but he lives in a totally different world. If he put his money where his mouth is and, say, funded (out of his own pocket) one or two building projects then I'd be inspired. He can easily afford it. Come on William. Do something truly practical and philanthropic and then you'll turn heads.

Everyone loves Will I really hope he doesn't get disappointed if the homeless campaign takes awhile to get off the ground. He's such a genuine guy. Really rooting for him to succeed and those working along side him.
He strikes me as some one who has lots of advisors and he listens to those who know the topic in detail. If he approaches it like Earthshot then he should make a difference and will know that it isn't a quick fix/solution

His homelessness focus just brings me to tears of gratitude and hope. He can actually do something to help. These problems are so complex and difficult. It breaks my heart everyday to see the homeless people in my neighborhood, and it's scary, too. People with no feet in wheelchairs are on the street. Wishing him great success in this effort!
