Visual Studio Code is not available for *Windows 7* now.
You can still use it by downloading an older version and updating it from its settings.
Below is the version that can work on Windows 7. Just install as required, and update Visual Studio Code from within its settings.

I've followed the same steps of your vid , after launch the app doesn't show anything*COMPLETELY BLANK * nothing works or opens in Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit ?? What happened anything else has to download or any support file remaining???? What to do reply????
It is a bit heavy app.. so wait for some time if your pc is bit old..
If you have a dedicated gpu, then the problem might be gpu rendering issue.. if that's the case, then try the following method.
Open command prompt and type
code --disable-gpu
If the above command opens vscode normally, then its your gpu issue.. for this to solve, u can create a custom shortcut for vscode that opens it with the provided flags..
Create a desktop shortcut of vscode, and then, right click on the shortcut link, then properties, and then click on Target, and then add the following thing after adding a space to the already existing text.
--disable-gpu
Click on OK and your custom shortcut is ready to use!
You can use this shortcut easily to open vscode further.

Yes.. 32 bit and windows 7 are deprecated. U can find the links for them in the pinned comment of this video.

I'm understanding u r talking about Visual Studio (not Visual Studio Code)
If application has beeen bundled, then it can run without Visual studio. But if u want to edit its code, then Visual Studio is a must.
For 32 bit, no support for Visual Studio now. U need 64bit windows for it

U can try latest version, If doesnt work, u can try the one whose link is in comments.

It might be issue with your gpu.. there's a hack for this..

U can use arm version if u r on a portable device.. thats in the download section

When i try to install vscode on my windows 7 Pc 64bit, there is an error message that always pops up, the error is "entry point not found". Should i download the zip file instead? because as you say in your video zip file doesn't requires installation
U can try that.. hope that will work!
Bro the problem is that when I click the download button it shows unrechable
U can try it again after some time.. maybe the server isn't reachable.. happens sometimes.

I'll recommend 32 bit version for that, irrespective of your computer architecture.

Yes, why not..
For python, vscode has direct support.. just install python idle (watch my video to install correctly), and install the python extension for vscode.
For cpp, I'd recommend u to use codeblocks(watch my video to install that correctly as well.)

While installing vscode, dont change the destination directory.. this might cause vscode malfunction..

For that you'll need to install visual studio, with .Net sdk.

Vscode k lie cpu power and ram thoda zyada chahiye.. make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements for running it.. u can search for the system requirements on google btw..

Can I download c# extension for 32 bits?
U can install vscode for 32 bit, and then go to extension manager and try to install the one u want. If its available, then you'll be able to install it, otherwise, u will need 64bit.
Most probably it'd be available for 32bit i guess.

Install python, and then install using pip.

I found a version (1.14) that could work on windows Xp according to some microsoft forum, link below - docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/314855/visual-studio-code-for-windows-xp.html
You can try installing this one on your pc, which I think could work!
(I haven't tried it, but if this works, just let me know!)

EDIT- although latest versions of vscode is not supported on XP, u can still use latest vscode features on vscode for browser!

If u want to run C/C++ codes, please use codeblocks.. it has everything built into it for C/C++. You dont have to set it up..
