Such a lovely place and charming people. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here over 40 years ago. We come back every now and then and always enjoy our visits. Thank you so much for another incredible Video. As I said before in antther Post, I was born on Madeira Island, grew up in Brazil (Sao Paulo) and I live in England (18 years on OCT 25/2024) . I have no words to thank you for every little piece of the Island that you show us. Everything is special!. How I miss it! (I went to visit my homeland when I was an adult) (I left the Madeira when I was a 03 months baby!. Every minute watching the videos is a gift for me. I loved walking through the Municipal Garden where there are so many yellow taxis... and ahead ... you turned left (right in front of the "Bazar do Povo" - Largo do Chafariz (the place where I use t send my letters from Brazil, when I was a little child, to my dear Grandfather, who worked there). (opposite side of Cathedral, where there are some ladies selling flowers. I am sure you have seen them many times). What a special video Mike!. You took me on a walk through some corners of my Island that I had never been to before. Thank you!!! It warmed my heart so much. ✿•♡•✿ (*•.♡.•*´) ✿•♡•✿
My wife’s family is from San Antonio, just north of Funchal and I fell in love with the island on my first visit. Great seafood, regional wines, fresh fruits and very nice people. My dream is to spend my retirement there. Your nice video, for a moment, made me feel as if I had returned. The micro climates that exist make each section of the island quite different.

@@LivingWalks Hello, my dearest !! Glad to know that you are busy fixing up your studio. It's a good thing! Here the vaccines move but not too quickly unfortunately and the variants are worrying. We have also had a change of government and this seems to intend to open more and to circumscribe the critical areas more. But I don't know how productive this is. We would have had to go through two, three weeks of hard lockdown instead of these middle ground that have not stopped the infections at all ... But anyway, let's hope that at least the vaccines will produce some effect. But we must hurry ... This week we will have up to 20 degrees here in Milan. Very high temperature for the period ... Love these Madeira walks but makes me sad as didn't have the opportunity to go in 2020. We went in 2019 for 3 weeks and stayed in the 2nd floor apartment at 13:17 above restaurant Espaco in Rua de Carreira. Great restaurant by the way.

I love your videos so much but it makes me so frustrated because I want to be in that gorgeous place. Everywhere in Madeira has a lovely atmosphere, perfect looking houses and buildings and not to mention the countryside.

I have no words to thank you for every little piece of the Island that you show us. Everything is special!. How I miss it! (I went to visit my homeland when I was an adult) (I left the Madeira when I was a 03 months baby!.
Every minute watching the videos is a gift for me. I loved walking through the Municipal Garden where there are so many yellow taxis... and ahead ... you turned left (right in front of the "Bazar do Povo" - Largo do Chafariz (the place where I use t send my letters from Brazil, when I was a little child, to my dear Grandfather, who worked there). (opposite side of Cathedral, where there are some ladies selling flowers. I am sure you have seen them many times).
What a special video Mike!. You took me on a walk through some corners of my Island that I had never been to before. Thank you!!!

My wife’s family is from San Antonio, just north of Funchal and I fell in love with the island on my first visit. Great seafood, regional wines, fresh fruits and very nice people. My dream is to spend my retirement there. Your nice video, for a moment, made me feel as if I had returned. The micro climates that exist make each section of the island quite different.

Here the vaccines move but not too quickly unfortunately and the variants are worrying. We have also had a change of government and this seems to intend to open more and to circumscribe the critical areas more. But I don't know how productive this is. We would have had to go through two, three weeks of hard lockdown instead of these middle ground that have not stopped the infections at all ...
But anyway, let's hope that at least the vaccines will produce some effect. But we must hurry ...

Love these Madeira walks but makes me sad as didn't have the opportunity to go in 2020. We went in 2019 for 3 weeks and stayed in the 2nd floor apartment at 13:17 above restaurant Espaco in Rua de Carreira. Great restaurant by the way.
