I have a problem with my side flip bro i cant seem to jump straight for some reason it comes out looking like a backflip but either way good breakdown and tips on this video subscribing right now
I appreciate the support! That’s a very common problem with sideflips that I had as well. I recommend setting up a block that’s about chest high, and forcing yourself to roll over it sideways from shoulder to shoulder. This can really help you flip on the right axis. I hope this helps!

Via yalls opinion is it ok if I start off my sideflip in a frontflip position because I’m learning sideflip rn n I shoot off in frontflip position and get my body to straighten out then turn sideways and tuck
Absolutely! In fact this is what I do and recommend doing if and when you feel comfortable, as taking off facing forwards is a more natural body position that allows you to get the most power from your jump. From there I just twist my chest to flip sideways.
