Jenyer has put a lot into her first solo debut album “I Do” The title “I Do” has a different meaning from the saying she has coined, “I, I do”. It means I will “do” it. Meaning I will be the sun next to you and whatever that’s hard, I will do it for you so that you can be happy.
Until now, she hasn’t been able to showcase her singing but through this song, the audience will know her silky voice. Her warm voice will help warm the cold winter.

チョン・ジユンの初のソロデビューアルバムであるだけに心血を注いで作った彼女の初のタイトル曲「私がする」は、彼女の流行語である‘私が私がする’とは別の意味が込められている。私は‘太陽’だからあなたのそばでいつもあなたを照らしてあげるという意味と、悲しくてつらいのは私がするから、あなたは幸せなことだけして欲しいという意味の歌詞。
これまで彼女の歌をあまり聴くことができなかったが、彼女の甘くて感性が感じられる温かい声のこの曲で寒い季節を乗り越えることができるだろう。
첫 전지윤의 솔로 데뷔 앨범인 만큼 심혈을 기울인 그녀의 첫 번째 타이틀곡 [내가 해]는 그녀의 유행어인 ‘내가 내가 해’ 와는 다른 의미가 담겨져 있는데, 내가 ‘해’ 라서 너의 옆에서 항상 널 비쳐준다는 의미와 슬프고 아픈 건 내가 할 테니 너는 행복한 것만 했으면 좋겠다 라는 의미가 있는 가사다.
지금껏 노래를 많이 보여 줄 수 없었지만 이 곡으로 인해 그녀의 감미로운 목소리나 감성을 느낄 수 있는 따뜻한 목소리에 추운 계절을 이겨낼 수 있는 그런 곡이 될 것 이다.

Cube definitely fucked up when they let her go, but now she's at a company that actually respects her. Jiyoon is a force to be reckoned with. She's beautiful, incredibly talented, and also versatile. I wish her only the best in her new solo endeavors! :)

CUBE probably told them that.
Hate didn't do that well, so, CUBE felt like 4MINUTE didn't earn any money to the company.
When they wanted to renew, CUBE didn't let them, only HyunA.
Because HyunA is more popular than 4MINUTE.
This is based on comments that I've read. And from articles from Allkpop
Maybe if Cube had made a real effort to market the girls, they would have made a lot of money for Act 7. Its a freakin' great album. Hate was awesome. Canvas was glorious. The rest of the album was just ... right. BUT ... it needed the right marketing to get sales - especially sales OUTSIDE Korea which is where 4minute is more popular anyway ... which seems to be something that Cube has zero interest in doing.

I don't know anything about Sidus HQ. I've never even heard of them until now, but I'd say they're just as responsible as CUBE. Either way, they both fucked up. I'm just happy that Jiyoon was able to move on and find a company that lets her do her own thing. :)

wow wow wow wow. I'm speechless. as a 4nia I never thought jiyoon have this side of her. I get used to her powerfull singing voice, heavy make up, and rap that give her strong image. but this song and mv, wow wow wow she look so different! I think the light eye make up play a big role, and the song that doesn't need her to scream like she always did in 4m. this is so different, unexpected, and I really like it!! I was surprised by this. When I heard she was gonna release an album I thought her title song would be hiphop song and I was like meh. actually I never expected something good if it was hiphop and honestly I didn't really like her screaming singing voice. If the rest of her album are the song like those, then this is a fantastic job of her new company and jiyoon to choose this song as a title. gotta check her album.

oh wow. I didn't actively follow 4Minute much (except maybe Hyuna due to how much she was actually promoted compared to the others), but I had no idea Jiyoon could do this. I was expecting a tough sounding rap, but perhaps this is what she wanted an was never given? she's so amazingly talented, and I'm honestly speechless. she even wrote and produced this song, which is so incredible. I hope she can reach amazing highs as Jenyer, a solo artist. this is absolutely beautiful
