Braids is definitely a killer for natural hair. I also had a weave a few weeks ago and my edges are still attempting to recover. I'm so over it. Moving forward, I'll just be using temporary clipins if I want a longer look.
Thank you sister!!!! I hope you and your family are doing wonderful too! And same here!!! I forgot how sore it would cause my edges to be! 😩Thank you for watching as always beautiful! Appreciate you!❤️
Thanks for sharing all that you did! Yes, we’ve all encountered things that have given us a bit of a mini-setback during our healthy hair journeys. I will say my biggest issues that I faced was when I was regularly doing wash n gos or putting my hair back into a sleek bun, and was going through this revolving door or buying and using so many products as well. But, after I went back to wear my hair heat straightened, I have seen my hair and scalp get so much healthier. I will say, I had to switch to wearing a silk bonnet, as I noticed that satin bonnets were starting to mess with my edges, no matter how many I have tried and also they would make my head too hot when the weather warms up. So, ever since I switched to using a 100% mulberry silk bonnet things have been much better, as it isn’t causing any issues with my edges and my head doesn’t get hot underneath even during the Summertime. Oh, and I stay with my set regimen, no more feeling highly tempted to buy new hair care products that come out that be hyped up on the internet. I’m just trying to stay focused on what I have found what works best for my hair and staying on track with my wash day as best as I can. Because, even if I go a day over my normal wash day (for whatever reason) , my scalp will be like I ain’t having it, you better wash me now 😜😊!
Thank you!!!! These tips are definitely helpful! I have never heard of mulberry silk-I’ll have to look into that. Sounds amazing🤩 Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!❤️
I realized I needed to blow dry on low heat. Flat iron temperature no higher than 370. It does the job perfectly instead of the high temperatures I thought I needed.
Hey beauties! I hope you are having an amazing day! Thanks for watching!🤗

Yes, you are so right! My hair definitely felt the tension 😩 You live and you learn! I’m recovering the edges right there with you sis!❤️
Hey sis! I hope you and the family are doing well. Wrapping my hair was making my edges thin and sore. Thanks for sharing these great tips ❤

@@clemmieivy338 So glad you found what works for your hair. That’s the key 🔑 ❤️
My tips are to wash, dry, then apply heat sparingly. Make sure to use heat protectant. This works.
Great tips!😅
