Price: Hyundai’s midsize hatchback is priced from Rs 5.43 lakh to Rs 8.07 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: It is available in four trims: Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. A Corporate Edition is available based on the Magna trim.
Engine and Transmission: The Grand i10 Nios comes with two petrol engine options: a 1.2-litre engine (making 83PS and 114Nm) paired with a five-speed manual and an optional five-speed AMT, and a 1-litre turbocharged unit (making 100PS and 172Nm) mated to a five-speed manual. There’s an optional CNG kit available with the Magna and Sportz variants, with a five-speed manual transmission.
Features: Features on the Grand i10 Nios include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, auto AC with rear vents, keyless entry, and a height-adjustable driver seat. The Corporate Edition gets a 6.75-inch infotainment system and electric folding ORVMs.
Safety: Standard safety features include dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, and ABS with EBD.
Rivals: The midsize hatchback competes with the Maruti Suzuki Swift. You can also have a look at the Renault Triber if you’re looking for a seven-seater in the same price bracket.
