For real. Not only did he get 6 heads with Misty but he also kept perma stunning with baby Articuno... This is the thing I hate the most about pokemon pocket, sometimes losses just feel like you got scammed out of a win due to sheer luck. In general I'd like to see the luck factor toned down because at the moment like 90% of the game is luck and 10% is skill 💀
I know! I've loved seeing all of these other decks rise up and start to win tournaments! I can't wait to see what happens when we get a miniset or a full set of new cards!
Arguably… when we get more cards, there is a chance the meta will shift less if the best cards are the best cards and every one just needs to be playing them. I’ve seen this in every card game I’ve played, mtg, yugioh, hearthstone, and snap. Admittedly, I’ve never played the Pokémon tcg which has a unique mechanic in weakness, suggesting a rock paper scissors meta should always be in place, however. It isn’t fight decks taking out pikachu, it isn’t dark decks taking down the mewtwos, and it isn’t water decks knocking out the charizards. So I’m not really sure if that even matters.
Yeah this thing is a sleeper deck, especially since Charizard/Arcanine is preparing to overtake Pikachu as second best deck, so fire is much more common now.
Honestly it seems like the devs have set up the release schedule perfectly to allow the playerbase to build into counter meta decks as people get more cards.
I've been using this deck since forever. Dismantled countless of meta decks with this one. And it's my personal favorite! I'm glad it's now getting the popularity it deserves! Articuno x Greninja FTW!
That’s what I’m saying I’ve been playing a variation of this the whole time. People will find good decks if they experiment instead of copying everything they see on the internet.
Greninja was very versatile in this game. 1. It deals a decent damage as an active pokemon 2. Regular 20 damage to any opponent pokemon 3. Low energy cost 4. For a 2-stage it was very fast to online Tbh I don't see any cons for this card unless you're very unlucky
It's stage 2, so sometimes you just don't draw either Frogadier or Greninja, also 120 hp is on the low side for Stage 2. It's not a bad card at all but it does have some weaknesses, either way, I love these cards that also have some clickable ability, makes the game much more fun!
I think this is one of the best decks in the game. It's what I've been using for a good while now online. It pumps out wins. Only ex Articuno, no regular.
@@dlgarner in all honesty, in a lucky world normal Articuno literally beats the ex by a mile. Which is why I use Articuno ex because just like real life I never get any heads
Curious! How do you feel about Tentacruel line also being included in the deck? (Mines rn pretty similar but I added that since Ive found getting the poison off to be pretty clutch like against a Venasaur deck I faced that was constantly healing lol)
It's not bad at all! I typically don't use it so that I can keep the consistency for pokeball or being able to start with articuno up but for only two energy it can do pretty well!
I don’t have any Articuno cards so I’ve been running Starmie EX and Lapras EX. If you don’t have those either you could try running Bruxish or regular Lapras.
Got this same deck , but instead of regular articuno I use kangashkong or regular lapras , it only takes one energy to get them going while it takes 3 to get articuno and they all have 100 hp
Play the same deck but instead of the articuno I play a bruxish seems better for 2 energy and combos well from back damaged Pokémon from greninja and articuno ex
People don’t let this fool you the first match could very well would’ve turn out bad if the coin flip tails. At the end of the day it’s all who has the better hand
The only thing i do is wait about 2 seconds after the coin screen comes up. I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not, but it always felt like I hit tails when flipping quickly
@@TLSGPokemon That solo battle gave me the idea to build this deck but instead of starmee ( because up until now I don't have a Starmie EX) I used Articuno.

@BreezeFrostFang I don't recommend written instructions for things like this, but here it is, anyway: 1. Move the coin slowly toward the top of your active Pokémon's card and let go. 2. Go slowly, but not too slowly, just enough to lift your finger and still have the coin flip trigger. 3. Practice the motion; it should be straight, but I've seen other tricks on Twitter that make it land sideways. 4. There is a mechanic that messes you up (it's rare, but it is intentional and random). The game will occasionally change the sound effect and add more power to your flip. You'll know because the second sound effect sounds loony toons af. 5. Find an actual video, lmao... I learned about this when I saw Japanese players get consistent coin tosses. With minimal practice: What used to be 50/50 can become a 7-in-10 chance. When mastered🧙♂️its a 9-in-10.
@TLSGPokemon 18:36: Compared to the unsuccessful tosses, this toss was short. You aimed it from the center to the bottom left of the card. This method seems popular on twitter. 19:09: The same short motion can be observed, and you aim from the center to the bottom left of the active card. 19:45: Shortest stroke, but it also goes from the center to the bottom left of your active card (the rest of this Misty was 100 percent RNG tho) This was an unbroken chain of heads. That's why I love these coin flip builds, they are actually consistent if you know the flip trick (unless the game throws you that random power spin introduced in the patch).
@Hyper_Drud misty is a support card, I call myself lucky when I get one in the first 4 rounds. Moltres doesn't stop after a tail, the probability of getting no energy for misty is 50% while Moltres is 12.5%
That Pikachu player in the first game got cheesed so hard lol
I wish my Articuno threw heads like that😂
Articuno was out for blood 🤣
Gets 6 energy *Im Not gonna sugercoat it*
Not to mention perfect timing on pulling the articuno ex for the finish if paralysis didn't hit again... but it did😂

what will you replace with the regular Articuno?
@seoyeonique the game is pretty simple right now. Just the two monster lines and fill it in however you like with your trainers.

Why run only 1 dragonite for the deck? I feel like 2 makes it a lot easier to get dragonite online if you are able to pull the evolution early game.

Hello 😊 any replacement for 1 Articuno Ex?
You could probably go with 2 regular Articuno's instead. It won't have as much early game or AOE damage, but should still perform decently!
I've been running this deck with no Articuno EX and 2 normals, and shockingly I have a very high win rate @@TLSGPokemon

Been playing this deck - red card since finally unlocking a 2nd greninja from the promo and been loving it.
Yes! I love the reach it has to the backline!
I made something like this but with Frosmoth instead of Articuno EX. You get Sleep and Paralysis with the Greninja snipes.
Yup thats the exact deck I play in every tourney. Glad to see it getting the spotlight
I tried this deck! It’s really fun! But sometimes takes time to get everything set up!
Greninja decks are my new favorite archetype they make Evey game so fun

This is the first deck i made when i got the required card like 3 weeks ago lol funny
The 4 heads misty against that poor nidoking/queen deck was so wrong lmao. Cut that dude some slack for even playing that deck 😂
I call this deck “ninja of the mist” lol it’s so much fun

Hey how did my deck get here?
It made it to top 4 in ursiidays pocket tournament! There were several other greninja decks that made a run in the top cut
I have a version of this deck with two regular articunos and two jinxs
Looks like i was 4 weeks ahead of its time
How to get the Greninja line?
It's in Charizard packs!
The Venusaur solo event also has a promo version of Greninja in the packs.
Thanks :)
I tried this, and not so lucky
how are you flipping coins, could you please show us? 🥺

Isn't this a deck the AI uses in solo?
The ai uses 2 copies of the starmie line and no regular articuno! So it's similar but just a bit different
@@TLSGPokemon That solo battle gave me the idea to build this deck but instead of starmee ( because up until now I don't have a Starmie EX) I used Articuno.

This deck is too fragile and late-game thing if Misty miss. Articuno with Starmie performs better
