I live right next to this and watch the trains everyday but not sure what to look for as a special train or how to track when a special train will go by. I know the NA does not have times for their commemorative locomotives traveling. It’s always cool to see those. What are some things to look for as a very novice watcher that wants to understand more? *I stopped by and watched trains from my car that day at your meetup

That Notch 8 at the beginning, though. Sad to hear we likely won’t see any KCS or Union Pacific anytime soon.

I live Suwanee, when’s the next time one of these meets is happening? I’m more of a model railroading guy but always wanted to go railfanning
