Yeah I've been trying to HC Nuzlocke these in the version that uses only up to gen 3 mechanics, it's brutally difficult. Only have Normal, Water, and Psychic complete. Probably well over a hundred attempts across all the types I've tried
@@TheGelatinCatt depends on how you feel about using outside help, but the pokemon showdown damage calculator has helped me a lot. Of course you won’t know exactly what movesets your opponent’s Pokemon are running but just having that general idea helped me a lot
I think for future runs you shouldn’t be able to start with a legendary/UB. Kartana made this run way too easy. If you find a legendary, it’s fair game.
Agreed. Maybe ban all pokes above 540 BST as starters (even that's a little high). That way, anything stronger (BST-wise) than your average starter Pokemon is banned.
Favourite Eviolite user was Porygon 2 in Gen 5 UU. That thing just did not die. Also fond of Dragonair in Gen 5 NU. Sleep Talk Dragon Tail was a menace.
I came back to this game because of you. I had stopped playing to focus on Emerald ROWE, but after watching your videos I ended up going back to Emerald Rogue. haha Thanks for the upload man. :D
30:33 Before someone has an oopsie, I don't believe Sacred Sword ignores Reflect because it's not an actual "stat boost" (more of a field effect or something).
Ursurang with eviolite makes it a tank, even chansey with evolite is insane, its like a better assault vest which also lets it use non attacking moves. There’s a reason people use imposter evolite chansey in balanced hackmons with it almost always being s or s+
Kartana only challenge when? My favorite eviolite is definitely Bisharp, Kingambit is amazing but it also made Eviolite Bisharp possible and my GOD is it surprisingly good
The current one should have them, you just have to beat a complete run and you unlock the dev's lab. You go up the stairs on the config room and check the bags to enable megas and Z moves
I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't find these rogue likes to be entertaining. I'm sure they're great videos, and if it's working, then keep doing it, but they're not for me.
I want to see more fails. That's part of what makes the battle frontier videos feel so much more monumental. In comparison this challenge looks free.
Or even something like an attempt counter would add a lot
@@paulerikson7271Yes thats the best move !

@@hunter00143any tips for completing runs in general? Trying to complete my first run on hard mode before I unlock the other gens

Isn't Kartana kind of OP as a starter? Treecko would've been more balanced with both being a mega but also not OP early on

This was not a grass run. This was a kartana run
Katana is the champ, like he survives on 1 hp what a legend (or a beast)
Mega sceptile stands the other way around, it isn’t because of a missing back sprite
The “useless. ugly.” part had me dying
9:56 mega sceptile loves to show its mega Christmas tail toward the enemies thou?
I think for the future, all starter Pokemon should have to be below a certain BST or something. Kartana is an amazing Pokemon.
Wow,a good shiny pumpkaboo for a grass type run; how lucky 😂
Just gonna say this: Leafeon doesn’t suck, you just gotta know how to use it. It’s a physical eeveelution.
I came back to this game because of you. I had stopped playing to focus on Emerald ROWE, but after watching your videos I ended up going back to Emerald Rogue. haha Thanks for the upload man. :D
my favourite eviolite user is porygon2 because of how bulky the eviolite makes it

It's been so long since I've heard anyone other than myself call tangela Wigglywoo and that made me irrationally happy
30:33 Before someone has an oopsie, I don't believe Sacred Sword ignores Reflect because it's not an actual "stat boost" (more of a field effect or something).
Favorite eviolite user is Mienfoo in Little Cup.
My favorite Eviolite user is ALSO Dusclops, just the thiccest wall in the game
This game is perfect, it’s pokemon but condensed into full strategy with no story
My favourite eviolite user is Doublade :D
I knew I was forgetting an important one! That is probably my favourite as well.
Grass should have been one of the hardest runs but you gave yourself kartana
My favorite Eviolite user is Gligar. Also justified that maxes your attack is broken.
My favorite eviolite user is Porygon2. I used it in a draft team last year, and it was great.
My shiny, moon ball clefairy is my fav eviolite user. Definitely carried me through sw/sh ranked ladder with friend guard and follow me.

Mega sceptiles back sprite is his front side. Because of the tail thats main side

Favorite eviolite user? Porygon2 :D
My favourite eviolite user is wynaut

Not gonna lie.. I forgot about kartana lol. Also Scyther because it turns an offensive mon into a defensive option ;)
What version of Pokémon Emerald Rogue have Mega Evolution 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Leafeon sucks? 😢
