The second movie could be an allegory for infertile couples and their adopted children, and have a message about how just because you're adopted into a family, doesn't make that family any less your own. edit: or even their relationship could represent interracial species
Except infertile couples tend to have no reason to expect infertility. Nick and Judy would have no reason to expect to conceive, so using them to represent infertile couples would suggest said couples were to blame for their own predicament, via bad (if not downright stupid) judgment.
As long as they're not creating some unnatural hybrid kids between those two. Nick could perhaps find some female fox who likes the idea of kids but doesn't want to raise them. With Judy getting some bunny donator sperm.
I TOTALLY ship them! Plus, there’s a lot of us out there whom have mixed families! So I’m quite intreated to see how the 2nd movie plays out when talking about the struggles of discrimination of mixed families, as well as each family’s different culture teachings from each side of families! I can't wait to see how close I went to the real plot.
