    Although this was a train wreck, I do want to give Jake some credit here. He spared all of us from having to see an unconscious 58 year old Mike Tyson tasting the canvas. It was clear that he had Tyson in round 2 (or 3) and Jake starting pulling his punches. Yeah, he shouldn't have been fighting someone twice his age +4, but this, to me showed that Jake is simply playing a "heavy" character and isn't who he pretends to be. They both got paid, no one got hurt, and we all knew what the outcome would be.

    I do think that, Yes he is 58 and was tired, but the extra stiffness we all saw actually was due to the fact that he FU**ED up his knee as he said himself. I mean he even TRIPPED During his WALKOUT But we ALL know Mike was not going to make that an excuse because he is a warrior but I do believe that the knee Played a bigger part than many think. Though the outcome may have been the same I think Mike would have looked a bit better and put Jake in more danger if he was not injured.

      It's age and potentially some background issues, considering he didn't counter certain things jake threw, not to mention, letting himself get jabbed 3-4 times in a row, that doesn't involve legs, that's basic fight IQ, it's part of the reason people think it's scripted.

    TBH I know I will get hate on this, But coming from me as an amateur fighter I'm no pro! He started loosely putting out hard punches he did good, After a few rounds the gas got low... He couldn't hold his mouthpiece that's why he kept pushing it back in with his gloves, Jake stayed on the move very smart a fighter that his tired can still throw a knock out punch. Later in the fight he wasn't going for any knock out punch he seen the gas light on gave Mike his last fight he wanted while still giving a show. Mikes legs got very stiff and wobbly as a fighter low on wind, He still stayed back knowing Mike could still put out that 1 punch at 58, As I said I'm no pro but I see this a lot with younger fighters and older ones. The fact he had heart to step back in the ring is big, Jake is a fighter not as good as he thinks but still can pick up on these signals.

  • @williamwitt8778
    @williamwitt8778 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Tyson was wearing a knee brace and clearly had a knee injury. His knee weakened and stiffened up on him during the fight curtailing his movement and making it difficult for him to move forward, throw punches,.and to keep his balance. So he was reduced to standing there and simply not throwing any punches. As mentioned in the clip, Mike said afterward he had an injury but did not want to use it as an excuse. If you watch him in his 2020 exhibition with Roy Jones he moved just fine for eight rounds. Should have postponed the fight until Tyson was fully recovered, but it had already been canceled once because of Tyson's ulcer flare up. Mike went ahead with the fight, but the knee did not hold up after the first two rounds of stress on it. He was reduced to standing there and not punching.

    Jake Paul selling the fight snake oil style and then admitting that he was carrying Mike afterwards is like the equivalent of a 304 female influencer at the gym filming to get the attention yet plays victim on the internet when someone looks her way as harassment to get double attention. He wants to have his cake and eat it too by scamming the audience and then tries to say "look how respectful and merciful I am, by not trying to KO Mike!". Even though Jake is still way less of a sociopath than his brother, it is still a scum move. The truth is that it is a combination of Jake not wanting to take any risk and cruise away til the end while holding back, just like Mike was holding back because he can't force his 58 yo arthritis ridden body, with numerous surgery over the years, to move and to do any offense. He has to conserve, defend and stop throwing punches after round 3.
