Love the Buffy reference. Knox Hill says she is a battle rapper with a guitar. I think Kendrick working with her said a lot because he seems like he only works works with specific people. They respect each others song writing.
You should do the live version of “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” she takes a lot of shots at Kanye and Kim there too. “Cassandra” from The Tortured Poets Department is also about Kim. When we say who songs are about it’s always allegedly because she never says who they are about but leaves enough clues for us to figure it out. That’s part of why she is so popular. Her songs are vague enough we can all relate but specific to her life enough we can usually figure it out. Sometimes Swifties will disagree about who we think lyrics are about and sometimes it’s multiple people.
This is my favorite live performance on the Reputation Tour. I was really hoping it would be on the Eras tour but it wasn’t. This and End Game are my favorite songs from the album
She did a diss track about her fans that get parasocial and think they should dictate who she can and can’t date. It’s called “But Daddy I Love Him” it isn’t about her dad it’s about fans. “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me” is one of my favorite songs from her latest album. It’s about what the media and music industry have put her through all these years.
The reason they come at her so hard, is because she just wipes all the other artists off the map. Can you imagine how many artists/labels are pissed off about that. That's a lot of powerful ppl with a lot of money to pay the media. She had like 14 songs in the top 10 billboards. And it's consistant. She had an album at no 1 for 6 weeks straight, 4yrs in a row. I think they said at the time only the Beatles were able to do that.
@thebundybear5557 She's a supposed pop star who's pen game is absolutely murderous. I have never heard any pop star that comes up with the kind of diabolical lyrics she does lmao. Truly is different, and I've only heard about 7 songs, lol.
Sorry for all the comments but I also wanted to say people say she is the Queen of Bridges so we all always love waiting to hear the Bridge in her songs.
Live Taylor blows Studio Taylor out of the water every day of the week. When you do "Ready for it" find the live version that includes the intro of all the media talking shit about her. She's such a savage she gave them all front row tickets to the opening tour 😅 th-cam.com/video/2QJaf6qq8jQ/w-d-xo.html
@@Amandaarford83 Lol, thats when I started noticing how many rappers respect her so much for her lyrics, etc...Thats when I started to react to her around that time, and have been blown away since
what did she do? she was successful; became a celebrity. She also said in a 2014 interview that we don't exist in a "celebrity take - down culture" --- that we all exist in a take - down culture, and everyone gets it at some point; always someone trying to take you down. (Hence, Shake It Off).
Has anyone suggested Vigilante Shit yet? That would be right in your lane. Watch the lyric video and then the Eras Tour live performance. She goes so hard.
Subbed for more Taylor content 🫶 Can't wait for you to react to her live performance of this song on the Reputation Tour. You may also want to check out her performance of Ready For It from the Eras Tour and the End Game music video. Oh and she did a cover of Eminem's Lose Yourself many years ago.
@JnnPg First off thanks so much for the sub. I will definitely check the live to this and ready from Eras tour. Had no idea she did an Eminem cover wow, and I did actually react to Endgame music video. I have a Taylor Playlist, hope you enjoy
I feel like the first verse is about Kanye because he is the biggest narcissist she has dealt with and he talked shit about her. Then the second verse would be about an ex or maybe several exes
narcissist that she plays like a violin === self centered person with no empathy. reference to previous boyfriends? at the time, the most recent ex was DJ/ producer Calvin Harris, but some other notables included John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal. among others. please note "they said" I did something bad. "They" always seem to be talking shit about Taylor that isn't true. . . . . She's been writing songs about the haters since Mean on Speak Now in 2010. in an interview, she said she'd stop writing songs about them, when they stopped coming for her. 👏🏻 so, WebMD site gives a definition of the personality disorder: Narcissism is extreme self-involvement to the degree that it makes a person ignore the needs of those around them. While everyone may show occasional narcissistic behavior, true narcissists frequently disregard others or their feelings.
You're going to love the live versions man, prepare yourself 🤣🤣🤣
GOOD LUCK!! You aren’t ready
My favorite performance from the Reputation Tour. I wanted her to put it on the Eras Tour set list so bad

This was her musical "Come at me, I'm ready" and she's now unbeatable - very Buffy.

The ratatata part is actually Taylor’s voice. She got the idea in the middle of the night and recorded it on her phone then the producers loved it.
I always think of that clip 😂
@ me too! One of my favorite clips of her in the studio

Don't ever apologize for commenting, do so as much as you want lol, I read them all. I can definitely see why she is considered queen of bridges.

I always wondered if the narcissist she is referring to is Kanye because I think he is the biggest narcissist that’s been on her bad side
