when he mentioned the warm beer, these are usually ales in casks, we do have cold beer and lagers and ciders The reason for the what is called warm beer, is two fold, because back in the days, there were not chillers and the ales were kept in the cellar, the coldest place, and crank up to the bar taps. The second reason for the cask ales, is that, as the ales get cooler they loose flavour, when the kegg is opened, its at its best and has a two week life span, each day, the ales loose flavour for exapmle, if you get an extra cold guiness, the flavour is slighlty milder than the standard guiness, which has a slighly stronger taste, even tho its chilled, but not as chilled as the extra cold
Just to help clarify, British beer is NOT served warm. Real cask ales come hand pumped through kegs stored in a cool cellar. Lager type beer like Bud etc are served in the same way as in the US, from pressurised tanks which then feed through a cooling system so they are served stone cold.
Apples are not native to America. They were introduced by the British settlers in the 17th century. English recipes for apple pie date back to the 1300s so "as American as apple pie" is a bizarre statement. As is "freedom units"which are the old British imperial units (inch, foot, mile etc)
"I like something better" You prefer something more, to like something better makes no sense unless it was ill "sick" and that isn't possible, though those in the US might wish they could like things better which would save on medical bills.
Really! You think that calling football soccer is the only thing we hate? We don't hate the way you have butchered the English language? We don't hate the way Hollywood takes credit for many of our actions or achievements in films? We don't hate the way that American tourists talk so loudly in our public places and restaurants? We don't hate your lack of concern about and respect for the environment? We don't hate the way you take our best TV programmes, remake them and ruin them? To name just a few........Dream on!
I would say if English gate Americans hate Americans it's basically too loude. Too demanding in a rude way apples were brought ro America by the. English which ghe pilgrims so English apple pie or any apple item is not American
