Remove stock exhaust. Get the big dog exhaust from sccoa. It gives you 2 1/2” down pipes into high flow cat and a resonator with single 3.5” out and back to 2 2 1/2” Also swap the 2.73 rear end gear for a 3:31. The car will really come alive and still be very driveable. Do not go higher than 3:31 gears or first gear becomes useless and turns too many Rpms on highway.
Very nice, and first year of the SuperCoupe. I believe 89 was the first year of gen10. I have a 97 I just restored, best riding car for the price. Keep that sucker stock!!!!
This is awesome to see because I had considered buying this car and only walked away from it because the owner told me it had sat for the better part of 20 years and I wasn’t looking for that much of a project. Now the real comedy, I bought an 88 turbo coupe instead lol. I would really like to follow the progress of this car as I love the super coupes. I would like to know if we could speak outside of TH-cam if your open to that and maybe showcase our restorations together (if that’s what your doing with yours.)
It looks like you’re trying to raise your social standing bubba. Normally your cars are rusty and all chewed out in the interior. This looks like a really nice cruiser.
@@Sleeperdude just curious i know your very inclined mechanically mine was sitting like yours for a while but it won’t start no fuel pump no starter signal no cel when key is on i’m suspecting ecu issue or ignition switch any ideas ? thanks bro !
My dad had one years ago and I'm pretty sure it has a odd bolt pattern. He went through a few head gaskets as well. If your wanting to make some power with it I would give super coupes a call. He could give you some good pointers. Guy is out of Northern Ohio.

Man that thing is clean! Great intro to a new project.
Thanks bff .

Nice score! Snagged a low mile 90 XR7 last year 🤘🏻
Great grocery getter. Looks like a brand new car. I would keep it stock. Maybe turn it into a racer someday.
Thank you we are turbocharging it now

I drove an 89 SC in high school. Loved that car. I've never had a car since that was cooler! Let me know if you plan to sell it!!
That would be a cool high school car. I have a 90 model automatic supercoupe for sale right now in Tennessee
those turbo v6s can make huge power
there are a few 6-700 hp ones out there!
PLEASE NO LS!
The guy from super coupes built one that made over 700hp. Rod/piston short block. Not sure what the rest of it consisted of.
Isaw one runnin a big turbo ....it was around 700 to the wheel, what a badass sleeper!
That electric brake system was changed out for traditional. You got lucky with that! Bolt pattern is 5X108
Thanks
I changed over my 90 anniverary SC using crown vic booster and master cylinder. Way cheaper. The 93 SC I had used a different more reliable system

Ok thanks man
I think it would be cool to do a compound set up.
❤😂 I almost pick up the blue one in 92!!
What was used to replace that power brake booster?
if you need any help im the "t-bird guy" of so cal. i see issues with the breaks already. it was not converted correctly
Where is she at today
I am finishing up a turbo swap
If someone told you that one of these would do 140 mph in 3rd gear would he be telling the truth or be a liar?
Not sure I haven't been that fast in it yet
See my supercharger wouldn’t get more that 10 lbs of boost
Sold my white one
Stop most of us can't afford a 🍞 of bread
I think you should convert it to an electric supercar
