I'm in Brisbane. We do it every year for River Fire fireworks show. The plane goes nowhere near the buildings. It flies over the river. People are freaking out for nothing.
@@littleman787it’s real, I was on the ferry and saw super Hornet and the planes flying through during practice. Look up river fire show and watch a vod.
Most Americans, like me, would think this is cool as F. Heck I may even travel there just to see this low downtown flyby. And check out your beautiful city!
Regardless of what has happened historically, we can't cater to everyone that was affected, triggers or traumas. Life goes on. Everything can't be about them.
@@elizabethscott7660 equipment malfunctions can happen to anyone, the altitude/glide ratio here leave no options. It's cool to see, but unnecessary risk and quality of pilot isn't the only factor.
Kind of stupid and risky if you ask me. Even if it is a tradition and low risk, you can never rule out a potential malfunction or a human error. Looks great until something happens and it will never happen again.
Nah not at all. This is just a demonstration that even though the Globemaster is a big girl, she’s maneuverable as hell, and can do some pretty incredible things. Seriously if you haven’t seen the C-17 doing crazy shit, you need to, this plane gives gravity and physics the middle finger. On another note, do you actually believe that the Royal Australian Air Force would openly mock one of the worst acts of terrorism committed on one of their biggest military allies? You really think that they’d be dumb enough to have that PR Nighmare on their hands?

Well is it real or fake?
It's very real, a Super Hornet usual flies through after it aswell

I’m live near Brisbane and saw this during a rugby game at sunset it flew directly over the stadium and a few attack choppas few over as well
riverfire is on next weekend so pack your bags son
Most Americans would be like “OH GOD NOT AGAIN”
Happens with fighter jets too!
Americans: "It's 9/11 all over again!"
Aussies: _"Ehhh we don't do that here..."_
Amazing site. well done RAAF.
it may be old footage , but still sends chills up the spine .

This better not end badly one day.
Our RAAF pilots are some if the best in the world. relax.
@Narja they’re not pilots though .

Well we have seen planes crash in airshows
@@positiveego5397 so should ban cars driving on the road also
What a beautiful Birb
It was like "sink rate stall pull up pull up"
Plenty of American airshows are held on the verge of water bodies and cities..... No different.
The blue angles in Atlantic city every year
True, the one's around San Francisco are insane!
Yeah but the c17 is humongous and the way they can fly through these buildings is really crazy. I'm not saying your wrong though
Poor thing….feeling a bit triggered.
Who fuckin asked?
I envision a couple of loose screws in the back coloring pictures with crayons :)
Aussies make the best pilots
Saudi Arabians on the other hand.
Wow !!!!!!!

This is the closest american viewers get to thinking this is a disaster.
Saw one of these today
And just 2 weeks ago they did it again
"nine one one"

Only in Australia
Always a American that gets offended, go figure.
Don't worry the Corpocracy endured that all buildings of importance were insured the day before this happened.
Crazy stuff, one day it's gonna bite them where it hurts if it crashes into a building!
Allahu akbar
Reminds me of that Tragedy
This happened in Sydney Australia not America
Brisbane, not Sydney.
er Brisbane
wat the Hell ar doing Australia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fun
Well somebody just lost their job.
Hardly. 🤣 This an awesome display.
It's an Air show
@@legolas7r I know. Haven't you ever tried to make a fun comment instead of correcting people all the time?
Lol.. it’s an air show. The pilot is DOING their job, not losing it.

Yeah… kinda like having an airport approach path over a city….?.. don’t be ridiculous
I’m pretty sure they’re doing this for a 9/11 reference

Riverfire fly by started before USA terror attack. There is no reference just highly diciplined Aussie pilots.
@ChaOzTheory You mean NOVEMBER, ya dumbnut
@ChaOzTheoryGood not to be a smartass when you can't do it right
Nope, they’re not dong anything related to 9/11.
Fear and Insecurity for inhabitants
Uh no. 🤣 It is awe and admiration. This is awesome. It is spectacular to watch. We are so lucky.
How wrong you are, Riverfire is the highlight of the year for the city. It's a massive party and hundreds of thousands of people line the river.
