Real appreciation goes to your delivery of this lesson. This song is at the intermediate level at least. Thanks for your straightforward approach on this classic tune. You certainly did NOT waste any time, including mine!⚡️

Thank you I love this song, album, and most of 67 - 72 Moody Blues recordings.
The story in your eyes sounds to me like a Ken Hensley song.

I love some of the Moody Blues, as a kid in the 70's I remember the first time my older brother played the opening to "On the Threshold of a Dream" record. Those first few songs have stuck with me over the years. Such a strong opening to an LP.

Dude, as usual in 10 minutes I pretty much learned this song that I've always loved. I am not worthy!! Awesome!

Thanks for the lesson. Love this classic old song...That chord at 2:40 is a bit tricky. One could also play a hendrix chord at 6th fret there, if they find that any easier.

This just popped into my feed because I've been listening to a lot of Moody Blues. Please please please please do a lesson on You and Me. It is my favorite guitar intro.

Very nice JJ. . Have you ever heard of a band called Zebra? They were around the NY Metropolitan area in the early 80s. late 70s so they were probably slightly ahead of your time. From New Orleans I think. They had some albums which (I thought) were not representative of their best.. They were much better live. They used to play all kinds of Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues, They were a three piece. They were awesome. I used to watch how he did things and this was a song they used to do and I learned it from watching their guitar player. He had a double necked BC Rich Mockingbird....(The nice ones) And a matching single neck. I enjoy your videos pretty much always. I hope you are well. Pete

I remember Zebra very well. Who's Behind the Door got a lot of radio play in Rochester, almost a Zeppelin outtake.

@@jamesjames9275 Well, I am surprised to say, I plugged them in the google, and they are still at it. this is from 2018 in Poughkeepsie NY. and it looks like the sort of dive that I remember.

Saw them in 1981 at the Montreal Forum. They were great. I used to play most off the 'This is the Moody Blues' album.
A fun one would be 'The Question.' Don't think my right hand could keep up, though.

Great lesson! Thanks JJ. One of those "Justin" chords I believe is an F#m11 where you are playing an F#m. [x-4-4-2-0-0]. Could be just me.

I think on the run down to A from Bm he keeps the Bm shape and pulls off the low B?

EGAA Am, Bm, C, D the first time then EGAA AM, Bm, C, Bm (what you showed) the second time.

Intro 4 times. 1 and 3 go up 1 on last chord. 2 and 4 do what you do. From live version...

I would have to look, but I believe second run of verse (and intro) chords he goes up to E.
