I just put in a bunch a peppers in a jar of vinegar just like you showed in your last video. Thanks so much! This will be my go to hot sauce making method from now on🙌😁
Hi Natasha 👋 I love seeing the weekly changes of the garden. We are officially into fall and the leaves are turning orange . We have another tropical storm coming ashore this weekend in the same area as the last one . I hope you are feeling better God bless and happy gardening everyone.
I use my Hungarian wax peppers to make banana peppers and they're delicious since they have more heat than a banana pepper. I like to slice a Buena Mulata to put in the jar too for added heat.
We used our own version of the Hugelkultur method to the fill the beds, and I would say 85% of everything used was from around our property. We did invest in a few inches of good quality soil for the top layers of the beds though! Now we just refresh the beds with compost yearly, mostly made from around the farm.
I honestly can’t speak to that, I’ve never sown them in jugs. I typically start them in seedling trays in January, once they are big enough I up pot them to solo cups and on a large shelf with wheels bring them outside, leaving them if warm enough, and bringing them inside the garage when it’s cold until I can safely plant them outside (typically in April).
You look much better rested Natasha. Hope you are feeling well. Take care of yourself!!!!
Thank you! I still have some lingering nerve pain but much much better overall!

You stay safe in the tropical storm and let me know how you far! The winds carried with storms are so brutal!

Great tip!
Hey Natasha! When do you start your fall seeds indoors? (Im sorry if you alreadybanswered this and I missed it).
No worries! I typically follow the Clemson university planting guide for the coastal region (for the most part)
@@ShepherdingPeppersFarm ok gotcha! Thanks!
When you built your garden beds did you get a delivery of dirt and Compost or use dirt from another area of your property?

@@ShepherdingPeppersFarm Love that method. Thanks Natasha, your gardens are goals!
I'm growing Etiuda peppers. Hope they are the correct ones
Fingers crossed for you, Etuida peppers will ripen to an orange and not red. Hopefully that helps!
I've never heard of a pickle worm
Yes, pickleworms are a tropical insect primarily impacting the south.
Can you winter sow pepper seeds in milk jugs?
