Every time I see is coming back I do it with no problem and back to normal. By the way I'm 46 years old
I am 3 days removed from having a half liter hydrocelectomy done on my right side. Today is Saturday and i had it done Wednesday. Grapefruit type deal, it was not small by any means. I am in next to no pain at all but slight twinges in the incision site at times. The incision is significant, the swelling is significant and its turning black and blue throughout the area but all of that is to be expected. I had the drain removed 24 hours post op. No pain meds except Advil. Maybe i just had a really good surgeon? I dont know but I am up and walking and bending and no real big issues. I am constantly icing it and taking it easy but overall i am fine. Figured I'd give the example of an easier recovery than all of the bad examples in these comments. I feel good.
@@unnamed_sarge4151 I had half a liter of fluid removed so it was quite large. I am now 12 days post operation and besides the actual incision causing me discomfort as it heals, it was not bad at all. The incision is over 2 inches in length as well so it's a pretty big slice. The only issue I had was bleeding during the first day but luckily I had a drain in place so the blood didn't pool inside my scrotum. Maybe I just had a very good surgeon or maybe I just got lucky but my experience was quite the opposite of a lot of men it seems.

Now at 68 it has gotten larger, size comes and goes through out the day. Still no pain or other problems other than don't like the look of it and sometimes uncomfortable. What to do
I'm 68 have surgery soon,am nervous because of COPD

I googled it and according to google it should reverse within 1 year. Is that true?
No. Had mines for 15 months now
Surgery is good option than needle.
Went to the dr for this he said it was just built up fluid and it should
Go away on its own, it’s been like 5 months not and nothing, should I go back to the dr? How long is to long to wait?
how are you doing now?
@@IamaNewCreature still feel like it’s there but it doesn’t irritate me as much
@@heisman__ that's good to hear. Did he say how you got it in the first place?
@@IamaNewCreature no he just said it happens sometimes and it’s nothing to really worry about
@@heisman__ 🫡✊ok good
I got one after a knee replacement. I had it checked out. They told me it was a Hydro cell no big deal. Couple of years later I got another one on the other side still have not got it. Checked out but will in a month. Problem is it Really interferes urination and sex. My penis is totally subsumed by scrotum and testes.. yeah really big balls meant really big pecker. I would not complain so much but it doesn’t.. I think I’m going to have to have something done surgically just don’t know what it is and I am rather apprehensive.
I have this and it's as big as softball
I have the same issue had it drained 2year ago and it was unsuccessful now I’m back to the same issue now I’m going towards surgery
@@mfjones5913 I had surgery on May 6th and so far so good.
My left testicles is paining me and fluid

please help my hydrocele is getting bigger.
try placing a pillow under your thighs while you sleep and see if they size gets smaller in the morning. Might take months to see noticeable decrease.
It’s swelling and getting normal and it’s swelling again. It happened in hydrocele?
Mines like that too. When I lay down, it’s as normal as can be. When I’m active & moving, its swollen but it varies. Its kinda weird 🤦🏾♂️
@@dellis4320just got this myself I think. Any ideas about what should be done or just ignore it? Ik you aren’t a doctor just wondering from experience if you can share any?
Hi Doctor ,why is my penis still weak 4 days after hydrocectomy can't get errections
After surgery Is hydrocele comes again and again?
Mine came back I had got the surgery back in 2021 and just got it again last week.
@@reek2hate939what were the side effects when it appeared the first time ?
@@aliahmedmir913 After surgery? The first surgery for my second hydrocele I was in a lot of pain for the first one, but I just got my second surgery earlier this month and I was pain free just a little swelling. I was draining a lot of fluid though and that helped this time he did something different and he stitched me up as I told him so.
@@reek2hate939what kind of surgery did you get ? Drained?
@@ishmaeliamo6608 hydrocelectomy
Hi I got one but it’s on my left and I feel very uncomfortable plus I’m only 15 and I’m scared to tell my parents
I’m 33 with one on my right side. Tell your parents about it. Don’t allow it to get worse
Agree
Bro I’m 19 and i told my parents I trust me you feel a lot of pressure of you shoulders when you talk to them about it , I’m getting a operation on it in a couple of weeks don’t be embarrassed about it, it’s a common problem.👍
I had one at 18 , told my dad and he said we'll get taken care of.
Now at 74 same spot another one has started. So far some pain but for the most part the fluid seems to come and go.
I am 15 years old i got hydrocele 2 days ago
Mine popped
ooh, thats supposed to be quite rare. care to say anything more? I had a pop, went from a hard ball to a saggy sack! and they didnt seem particularly bothered, when you expecet some medical interest. gradually over a month it somehow repaired itself and started filling up again, and now 6 months later I'm in the same spot. Kinda hoped the rip was a DIY hydrceloctomy and coudl avoid an op, but it seems not.
I have a hydrocele and been dealing with it for way to long now. Really ashamed at times, buying larger pants, sleeping has changed, etc.
I dont know what kind of insurance would cover me. Any help would help a ton.
Which country do you live if I may ask. A friend of my husband's just had it and we are in Germany. Such is always covered by the insurance.
Alphagainz3816 I assume you live in the USA ? Could be wrong ? Go find a chemist that sells Magnesium Suphate paste its a thick drawing OINTMENT cheap too, works fast , or could buy online hooe this helps ?
@WendyJones-zx7is so you the paste to control swelling?
