I choose not to share this information openly, if you wish to know please send me a message on instagram and I’ll get back to you. there are a couple of colleges in Al Ain.. I teach at one of the more well known colleges here.

Heyy I would appreciate some guidance if you can. I'm planning to sit the CELTA qualification so I qualify to teach in Saudi this year. I can either do the August course or September course. The September course works better for me but I am concerned that finishing in September might reduce my teaching job prospects in Saudi as the school year would've already started in August/September? Is this correct? Do you think finishing the course at the end of September will significantly negatively impact my chances of finding a job and that I should really do the August course?

How often do ADEK come to schools in abu dhabi?, I know sharjah has spea and dubai has khda who come every year.. very stressful. I am considering ad because so many jobs available there including accommodation which dubai and sharjah rarely offer. They now give housing allowances which is not enough to live there lol

ADEK tend to visit schools when they feel necessary - it depends on when the school was last inspected and what the results were.
In terms of accommodation - really depends on the school. Every school offers different packages with some being more generous than others. I have a number of friends who teach in Dubai and their school either provides an apartment or they get enough allowance to rent an apartment.

Hi! How is the life in Al Ain? I received a job offer, waiting for my documents from the embassy. I received my ADEK approval already. How is the standard of living costs?

Living costs etx. Tend to be lower here than in other parts of the UAE… life is quieter than it is in Dubai, but it’s relaxing and there are many things here that I enjoy doing. It’s a good life!

Hi as someone with two years of UK experience, what kind of salary can I expect to receive at a private school in each of the Emirates?

This honestly varies - the advise I was first given is anything above 10k AED is good. Having worked here for 3 years now, I feel there are schools that will offer more to the right candidate and there are certainly opportunities for professional development and thus pay increases. You’ll likely get paid less in more popular areas because there is a greater desire to live and work there.
