Someone suggested the Trail to me, took me awhile to find one, but I finally found a stock stamp one. Really loving it so far. Goes further than you think, very straight with just a little fade at the end. Hope to get a different stamped version next.
It is one of my favorite slots in my bag , I’m surprised not nearly as many manufacturers have tried to mimic the flight pattern. It is a disc you need to learn but once you learn it it’s money!
Great video. I'm with you on the touchyness of the trail especially as it beats in. I think proton would be a better plastic for this mold. Should check out the gorgon in star plastic it bombs like the trail with more reliability.
The trail is good but I've found it to be not as advertised. It is flipper than I anticipated (i only throw 330ft) but i have also found it to be tricky. If any headwind it's gone so it's not very reliable. Sometimes it acts a little more stable than it usually does. Most of the time it acts like a 11 5 -2 1. Goes far and still trying to figure it out but I find having stable discs more reliable and discs that are built to hyzer flip easier to deal with.
@@nativejuicevapors yes, on the disc it says distance driver but nobody is using it like a distance driver. Probably the best way to describe the disc is a hybrid driver, similar to a Thunderbird or Anax. It goes farther than most fairways but is more controllable than a distance driver
I understand that’s what it says on the disc but no one is thinking of this disc as a distance driver. It’s a mix of a fairway and distance driver if anything, but most people are using it like a fairway
The Trail is a Distance Driver
Yea, I just assumed with it being a 10 speed it was a fairway
@BenHowardDG it's all subjective. Each manufacturer has their own standards. The disc tells all lol

So u think I should add a trail or just stick with a gorgon?
@@Jac833 If you have a decent forehand get a trail it's a laser beam.

where do you even buy this? It's oos everywhere in the UK
@@stowgood yea, they can be really hard to find. It looks like Infinite Discs has some
That’s not a fairway

I throw a Hatchet in that position. I'm guessing it is probably not too different. You may want to give it a try.
@@alanlundberg4534 I used to throw hatchets all the time. Hatchets are much more understable. Hatchets would probably be a roller discs for me now
@@BenHowardDGSo, the Trail is not really like a -2 1, it is pretty true to its -1 1, right?
@@alanlundberg4534 it’s not a -2 1 but I think that describes it flight better for me. -1 1 is also a good description
@@BenHowardDG Okay, the Hatchet is a -2 1, so for you the Hatchet is more like a -3 or -4 turn, since you said it is likely a roller for you?
@ yea, Westside purposefully changes their flight numbers so they seem more stable than they are. The hatchet should definitely be a -3 or -4
Not a fairway driver.
