Oh, those curtains came out very nicely, indeed! Another idea for a little "life" for the kitchen -- put a couple of plants on the inside windowsill. It seems like there are always plants on the windowsill over the sink in all the houses I've been in.
The curtains came out great! Now you need the teams from Ground Force and Trading Spaces to visit. Just keep Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen away...you don't need one room looking like a Chinese restaurant and another with hay glued on the walls...
As always excellent modelling - lots of fun. Is the timber on the house a bit too black, or did you let that down too?✌️🤔🤔 The curtains are excellent btw, good call💜👍😊
Looking good. Nice of the pie makers to make curtains exactly to the scale you're working in! Thought you might have overdone the shading on them when you showed them first, but they look excellent behind the windows. What about some ornaments or plants on the window sill? I wonder if you'd thought of printing out photos of a kitchen and living room to mount on the backboard to give the building more depth?
Thanks Andrew, I was thinking the same about the curtains and initially when I offered them up under the 'glass' I knew I needed to accentuate the light and shade. Plants and candlesticks on the sill are already done but I decided to keep the rooms dark rather than simulate each room. Hopefully the next episode will see it finished with all the details added....but it's taking a while!!!!
A garden railway... the perfect way of making an oval railway look perfectly realistic 👍 great layout, well done 👍
Coming along nicely 👍

Fabulous. I love your projects!
Those "pie plate" curtains totally work !

I've wanted to do a layout like this for a while now (one of many ideas on the long list!)

Haha...Don't worry mate, frilly cuffs are not permitted into the Mancave!
