Jungwon is actually every choreographer's dream student. He executes every moves perfectly. Just the right amount of power very gracefully. Even the producers and choreographers on ILAND said so.

Jungwon is definitely the best dancer. He is very versatile. I mean he’s the King of Versatility in Enhypen. Whatever dance moves - cute, cool, pure or any concept he can pull off. When it comes to dancing you have to be great in facial expressions too and you have to your own point choreography on each song. This is why I-Land producers says that Jungwon knows the meaning of the song every time they perform. Plus, Jungwon has never had any stage dance mistakes for the past year being an Enhypen member.

It's NI-KI for me, he's really a good dancer, Enhypen's main dancer that can be 4th generation's representative when it comes to dance, add the fact that he's trained for 8 months (?). His vocal is good and stable too, can rap too. He's a total idol performer. Sadly he didn't have a chance to show how monster he is in dancing because of lack of screen time.

4:25 yeah sunghoon's lower body is rlly strong considering he was a longtime figure skater plus his stamina and energy is always high smh in weekly idol and iland he did the elephant spin and he didnt feel dizzy at all it's actually amazing

As national back up athlete, Sunghoon has the best stamina. In iland show, after performing, some participants try to hide their actions to gasp for air. But Sunghoon just looked fine.
As far as I know, figure skating athlete practice 5 days a week and spend 2 hours for warming up ONLY, such as streching, running, jump rope, practicing jump and rotate on ground, etc. Then 10 minutes warming up on rink by sliding and running around the rink. After that, the main practice for 2-3 hours. That's just daily routine, not preparation for competition. And Sunghoon has been figure skater for 10 years.
Sunghoon joined Big Hit training for 2 years. Practice skating in the morning, and Big Hit training at night. It's similar to training for athlete in preparing competition. So, Sunghoon did hard physical practice for 2 years.

Love the video! I have a question though, when Sunoo and Sunghoon and Jungwon dance together as a trio, as a Jungwon Stan I notice that Jungwon always moves the last among them for this particular part. This is making me wonder, is Jungwon just a bit late or is Sunghoon and Sunoo too early? I can't really tell 😅
Also I agree with the ranking, Heeseung trumps Jungwon in this particular dance, but no one can deny Jungwon's isolations are by far the best among the members which makes him particularly appealing to watch for me at least. Niki is uncontested and Heeseung is especially good at idol dancing (or so I've heard from other people not sure how true it is) and the rest is not surprising for me.
Sunoo has so much potential, I can't wait! I never noticed how Jake's shoulder movements were so good until this video came out, thanks for helping me appreciate his dancing more.

( i actually had to slow the vid down to make sure that he was off beat, so it’s barely noticeable) but then he caught on, this happens because sometimes dancing by himself can be way more challenging to tune on to the choreo than dancing as a whole group, so it’s totally normal!. i’m glad i made u realized some stuff 💞💞

4:32 Sunghoon: lack of stability when doing "foot work".
I don't understand term in dancing. But yesterday I just realized something about Sunghoon's style in dancing: Toe pick.
I suggest you to see Dance Jam Live in Enhypen official channel 2nd February 2021. In that video, many people loves his style in "Monster" song. So unique compared to others.

Then I observe his feet. 11:09 and 19:49 Everytime he did little jump, it start from his toe and land with his toe, too. Also when they dance "Monster" ( 13:05 - 14:00 ) most his friends stand with whole soles of feet touching ground. But he dance with his toe or heel only touching ground.
This reminds me to his habit in figure skating. Figure skater usually jumps with toe pick, make emphasis on that point before jumping to push his body up and rotate fast in the air. Then he lands with the thin blade on ice, with emphasis position on inner or outer side of blade (depends on type of jumping). In conclusion, not whole of part of the blade in skater's shoes touching the ice on the process of jumping and landing.
I don't know term "foot work". But Sunghoon's style in dancing "Monster" makes me curious.
Sunghoon has long legs This body proportion brings problem to figure skater due to stiff body in jumping. Having flexible knees, he can handle this problem. Even this body proportion causes him beautifully moving on ice.
Probably, because of his habit in figure skating in jumping (toe pick topic in main comment) and his flexible knees, his feet do not look stabile. Although it seems clumsy, he never loses balance. He's just fine in dancing.

Look at 01:21 and 01:38. You can compare Sunghoon's knees with Heeseung's.
In Dance Jam live 2nd Feb 2021, Sunghoon was the person wearing black pants, white long Sleeve T-shirt.
tysm for your analysis, like wow ty for your effort. when dancing foot work is essential, but it can be challenging bc of many factors like fast dance moves, u have to keep them clean bc either way you can trip or stumble, so stability is also pretty important. I saw sunghoons foot work on the vid u sent me and it was actually pretty good!. Which made me think why i ranked sunghoon so low in this choreo bc he also had amazing isolations. Basically sunghoons technique isn’t made for this choreo at all, while this choreography is basically more fast and have some more sharp moves (which jay is more skilled in) sunghoons technique is more skilled on smooth and flexible dance moves. that’s why he maybe struggle with foot work, bc it was more of a fast dance compare to monster which is actually more of a slow one, where u can see he’s more detailed and passionate with.

this is the only eval (I've seen so far for the past several months) that ranked Heeseung higher than jungwon.
i do think they’re pretty skilled and on the same level meanwhile jungwon has great dynamics heesung is so versatile. it was hard to choose between both
@@gotseven I feel like heeseung definitely has an edge though. He's so detail-oriented. His moves are clean, sharp, precise, powerful but also smooth and fluid when its required. (Not for Sale is the best example of it). There's an obvious gap between the two in terms of dancing just like there's one between hee and Ni-ki. Jungwon has better dynamics tho like he won't underdance or overdance. While heeseung can be too energetic at times. But he's improved at having a better body control. Overall I would say Heeseung's better. Just my opinion
Sunoo and Jake have a little time as trainee, so we hope that them can better your moves!

I'm an Army n recently watched a few enhypen vids after being obsessed with Drunk dazed n fever for a while..I don't recognise who's who yet.The only person I know is Niki cos I watched his video dancing to Jimin's "Lie" n he nailed it.I watched this vid on repeat n honestly Niki n Jay stood out to me a lot..idk who all r in the dance line..Niki is a known great dancer dunno abt Jay bt he really did well here. But I can't take my eyes off Niki wenever he's dancing!

wow considering you didn't know the group when making this, i really trust your dance analysis skills bc you were able to aptly recognize each person's strengths without knowing their pasts (like that sunghoon has a strong lower body due to his past as a figure skater, or jungwon's excellent shoulder locks given that he's amazing at that, ni-ki being formerly trained in ballet, heeseung's versatilliy etc

i feel like jungwon did 0:51 the best 😅. but wow, I've been trying to find these kind of content everywhere 😭 i was actually hoping that on the scene would do some analysis on this choreo bcuz it definitely is very mesmerizing but unfortunately they did not 😅 i rlly wanted to know who danced this the best so i was kinda upset when I couldn't find any analysis abt the choreo lol. My Opinion On Who Did It Best:
1. Heeseung- takes the cake for this one I mean what can’t this man do
2. Jungwon- I was really surprised by him
3. Ni-Ki- OFC our Main Dancer
4. Jay- No Words For How Amazing He Is
5. Jake- Sunghoon These Two=Shook
6. Sunoo- needs a bit more practice but he is really good at keeping up with the other members that’s it’s barely noticeable

Heeseung- I feel like the way he executes every move and how powerful he does it is really breathe taking like the kick at the end the hip movement, how stable he is with the leg movement and the popping it’s really just wow idk but he just draws my attention me personally couldn’t find anything wrong with his dancing from my point of view his dancing is really perfect I’m not a professional so I wouldn’t know this is just what I observe.
Jungwon- He shocked me with the way he does the popping moves and the the hip movement same with Heeseung he draws my attention he has a a strong aura in this video and on stage he really knows how to execute the moves and like you said the upper body movements are really sharp and persistent and he has really really clean foot work.
Ni-Ki-overall nothing is wrong the only thing I found wrong was exactly what you said in the video other than that he’s perfect as well.
Jay- His moves are sharp and precise he know exactly how to execute them other than his weaknesses that you mentioned in the video he would have been placed with Jungwon.
Jake and Sunghoon- Neither of them are bad at it Sunghoon’s knee work isn’t really that great form my POV like the pop when they do it he barely does it, also his footwork needs improvement, Jake’s same with Sunghoon his knee work isn’t that great his pops after the knee work are amazing, also what you mentioned in the video the lack of flexibility and footwork.
Sunoo- isn’t a bad dancer but he isn’t the best he needs more work his moves are more soft than sharp like for the hip part when the song goes “Given-Taken” then it’s a pop he doesn’t do the pop but if you watch the fancams the other members do also the stiff part it’s really noticeable in this video but it’s different when he’s on stage I still think he as time to improve.
So basically it’s a mixture of what you said with some of my opinions bare with me I’m not a professional this is just what I observe sorry if this is long also and the group as a whole is really synchronized and on point so the weakness you pointed out cannot be seen unless you watch their fancam which I think is really amazing also I’m not saying any of the members are bad at dancing💜🙃.

I think 1:37 should’ve went to Sunoo, he was the cleanest and smooth doing it. Also I feel like overall the ranking doesn’t make sense because Jake was over dancing and made many mistakes in this. How did he get 6th??
hey! ty for sharing ur opinion!! but i think you’re being a little biased, jake doesn’t really have any over dancing tendencies, but sometimes some dance moves aren’t clear enough! jake is actually such a good dancer and i know that he made mistakes but if you watch any fancam you can see he absolutely nailed the choreo. I don’t think sunoo is worst than him at all!! just that jake is a little bit more versatile and experienced!.
@@gotseven I’m not trying to be biased. I do think Sunoo should’ve been above Jake but that has nothing to do with my opinion on Jakes dancing in this particular video. He was clearly struggling by himself, and did a much better job in the group performances. He looked very nervous and you can tell that by how much he messed up in here. I still respect your opinion, just wanted to state mine.

Also, I am certain Niki will S tier in a few years. I think he isn't that far off too. Dancing since 5 years old as well as his passion has made his progress so amazing and he is basically a pro at this point anyways haha.

Let’s all remember in I land Kim sunoo said he had health problems so he tried to maintain a fully balanced dance I’m saying he did deserve last place for this one but he did do a great good with the dance. He is my favorite member of the group I just wish he was more capable to do more
Hmm i dont agree w this, i feel like sunoos overall performance was better than 7th place.. Maybe he isnt the dynamic type but his dancing is the most appealing to watch for me, very graceful and consistent, i like the pace, the angles, the facials.. Jungwon and him are my top two 😁
I think the others can be messy at times, heesung and sunghoon try too hard in my opinion..
Being appealing and having good dancing techniques/skills are two different things and shouldn’t sway how you view who is the better dancer. In terms of dancing Sunoo is the weakest however he is very charismatic!!!

I respect your opinions but you can't say it's a fact bcs it's not, it's preference just like I stated mine
