This week's analysis is NCT 127's Kick It! The most requested content in my channel, enjoy! *FIVE THINGS TO BE AWARE OF:* 1) *The whole point of the video is to help non-dancers, beginners or anyone who is in the process of learning Kpop choreographies to learn key points on executions.* 2) *The dance analysis at the start is a representation of crucial technicals on a particular move. I checked the consistency of the member picked in the dance practice.* 3) *The evaluation at the end is based on the clips used and dance practices. Stage performances are not included as there are many factors, like vocals and outfits, that can stiffen the technical body parts needed (specially torso).* 4) *Don't be disheartened if your bias is last or they did not get any box around them or they did not get the rank you expect them to have. It doesn't mean they aren't a good dancer. It means that the group overall are strong dancers.* 5) *It doesn't take a cent to be nice and respectful in typing your comment. Please do not cuss and do not fight. Be nice at all times.* Edit: Quick reminder, no one has a right to invalidate someone's opinion just because you disagree on it. Lay down your disagreements *_RESPECTFULLY_* Those who have requests, comment in this thread so I can read. Also, include your reason why should I consider doing an analysis on that song/group. Taeyong was told by his dance teacher that he wouldn't make it but now he is one of the best dancers in kpop. He is a great example of 'hard work pays off.' Such an inspiration.
@@jaycorzineHe did study there and who knows if SM or Mark himself chose his major but anyone can see his style is hip hop based and SM's dance teachers are really good everyone knows but you can't say he didn't learn anything at all from SOPA. He happened to be he last SM idol to graduate before SM let Jeno Jaemin and Haechan dropout because they could meet the attendance requirements
neocitywayv he only attended the school for abt 5 times,he promoted with nct while still in the school,he doesnt has time for that,he did graduate with a dancing degree but dont take SOPA to serious, they are just an art school for idols that cant attend normal school while promoting with their groups
They also won the lottery when they recruited Taemin.. And Ten, and Jisung, and Hyoyeon, I mean they have some of the best dancers in the industry damn
The fact that Taeyong was told that he can never learn dancing at the age if 18 but he worked so hard he went from not knowing a single step to main dancer this is so beautiful I'm going to cry
Mark’s dancing is sometimes overlooked and underrated. Of course Taeyong and Yuta are amazing dancers but Mark’s dancing always amazes me and he just has this style when he dances that I love.
Mark is an extremely solid and competent dancer w/ a really good groove, for sure. I rarely see people talk about his dancing so I'm glad that it's being highlighted here!
Some nctzen mostly comment about mark just to clown him about they way he talk tho its pretty sad, i rarely see them appreciating mark on comment section
lol this is so true. Mark has been put in like every NCT unit (including SuperM and excluding WayV) and people only say it's because he spits fire rap verses (well, it is true) but they never talk about how Mark dances. Like this boy's movements are so fluid and people don't talk about it that much!
I don't see anyone mentioning Johnny, but he is seriously a great dancer. He once said that he had to practice harder because he wants his movements to match everyone else since he's so tall.
I notice especially for the kicking part in "Bruce Lee". He has to lean down more than the others to make his kick match to the height of the others' kicks. Our Johnny has been working hard ;;
@@tameriz1280 I swear they both look like they jumped out of an anime (I also always thought that yuta and taeyong had somewhat similar face shapes and stuff)
@@RVQuesada Its my choice that Yuta is my bias. I am just hyping him like how everybody hypes their bias. Yuta is always mistreated and hidden from SM, the least I can do is praise him without bringing in other members .
@rapunza aa ofc, Haechan was one of my first bias, it's because of his glowing, sweet personality. But time passes Taeil became my bias and I forgot about him. But since I'm learning to dance Kick and Ride Haechan always get my full attention
@@kingb.6300 not anymore he used to be that is until mark replaced him as the main dancer and he was Demoted to lead dancer so yeah mark and taeyong are the main dancers, and Yuta is the lead dancer.
yuta is honestly one of my favorite dancers in nct. he has this natural grove to his movements. he is always giving 110% effort but makes it look so easy at the same time. i’m glad he got so much attention this video, it’s well deserved.
The fact that Taeyong used to be the worst dancer during his trainee days and even his dance teacher said that his dancing is hopeless. But guess what? He is now one of the best dancer in kpop. He is such a hardworking and dedicated person... and that’s why he is my idol, my bias and motivation 👏💚
Thanks to Taeyong's hard work, he becomes one of the best dancers in Kpop. Taeyong is so talented and hard working yet some people in the comment section downgraded him. They even called him "overrated". This needs to stop.
honestly he’s so talented 🥺 i just wish be put more energy in performances because some of the music shows he seems bored and idk if that’s just his relaxed style or if he’s not giving a lot of effort but watching this video made me really appreciate his dancing :)
No one sleeps on yuta he is talented but there’s a reason why mark and Taeyong r put in the middle and there’s a reason why Taeyong is the leader but yuta is for sure very talented he’s a main dancer as well after Taeyong and mark
I love the way Mark dances because he makes it look so easy. Although Taeyong and Yuta are dance-machines, Mark dances so smoothly always showing his techniques in a natural way like he had already learned the routine for years.
Imagine Yuta who trained to be a professional football player for years, left his supposed to be profession to become a singer and now being labeled as one of the best dancer😍
Actually it's a known fact that SM like hard-working kid more than just being talented in first place. Ofc being born with natural talent could be an advantage but "passion" is the only key to success.
@@fairuzsyifa6994 agreed. You can be the most talented dancer in the world but if you're lazy as fuck then your talent would be wasted and that one hardworking person would surpass you easily
I love seeing taeyong being praised by people knowing what they talk about. He's an incredible dancer with an unmatch charisma and stage presence. Thank you for this video
I still can’t believe that taeyong started dancing at the age of 17 and was told by his dance teacher that he wouldn’t make it. He has skills, his own style and mesmerizing stage presence that makes me wanna watch him all the time.
uhhhh yes!!! why tf don't they give him 1. MORE LINES 2. MORE CENTER POSITIONS. He can sing, he can dance he's got the fucking visuals. honestly this man deserves to be remembered in Kpop history. He needs to be appreciated for the talent
The only time we really got to see him shine is regular era. Yuta is so visually appealing and a very talented dancer but sm just doesn't see that. Tbh, he should be the center of the group alongside taeyong
I dont think this weekly idol fancam does him justice. As a nonfan, I couldn't stop looking at him doing the chorus part in the dance practice video and their stages.
@@mukundakrishnan2678 mark is technically the center too if we really think about it mark and taeyong both represent nct as a whole they both have the same position literally every position besides visual for mark but other than that they both share they same positions in nct.
@@rosie5816 honestly, how hard is it for nctzens to admit that taeyong IS the only center? i'm genuinely sick of seeing you guys doing this. he's the center of nct as a whole and that automatically makes him the center of 127 as well. mark is the main dancer and main rapper, but he's not the center.
I find it ridiculous how Yuta didn’t get more dance parts when he’s literally a main dancer. He would’ve killed so many of the moves he didn’t get to pull off
You can see clearly how YUTA deserved to be one of main dancers of nct .. The swag , how to control his movement ,his expression , every moves has meaning not just to dance but with passion .
Mark is such an underrated dancer, his dance skills are overshadowed by his rapping. Johnny and yuta tho are really good dancers, kinda sad johnny was lower in rank but srsly, he is a great, great dancer.
Mark is a fantastic all-rounder. Not only is he arguably SM’s best rapper, he’s also one of NCT’s best dancers especially in terms of cleanliness and technique, and a really respectable vocalist even though we don’t get to hear him that often. Mark isn’t even my bias in NCT. I’d say for me personally, my top five are Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, and Haechan. I have a normal level of affection for Mark, but I don’t lay awake in the middle of the night thinking about him alskdhskal. But I have immense respect for him as an artist and a member of NCT
I found no comment about Taeil.. He's trying his best and looks so adorable at everything he does. I didn't mean to offend someone. I hope that it now doesn't offend anyone anymore
Taeil and Doyoung are more appreciated for their vocal abilities. We give both of them a lotta credit for their vocals but in terms of dancing there's just not much we can say abt them. They're trying their best ofc and I'm proud that they're improving each and every day
People aren’t really talking about Taeil in this because this isn’t their strongest suit, when the behind the scenes for their recording of kick it came out about 90% of the comments were about Taeil and his vocal abilities. He isn’t being slept on, everyone’s just giving other members chances to be appreciated as well. If anything Doyoung is being slept on tbh. They’re still great dancers but it isn’t their strong suit.
*THIS.* Taeil's and Doyoung's solo covers would always take more months to hit million views compared to other members'. Its bcuz its easier to just leave a comment abt them in nct group contents BUT if it takes a little bit more effort like streaming and posting abt their solo contents, they get obviously less support.
Mark can dance well and really got stable voice on stage. Impressive cuz he dance wo well and can keep up with his voice like literally not everyone can do. So i can conclude his stamina is top tier
SM chosed taeyong as main dancer of nct127 not just because his a good dancer (obviously) but they see so much potential in him though he's dance teacher said that he can't make it but still manage to be one of the top dancer during trainees/ rookies days. And now look at him sm even appointed him as a center coz his presence are really undeniably captivating. He has this effortless aura that demands attention. Not just that, he's really creative. every steps or dance has a story in it. He gets ideas in every move that every person can do daily or in anything, that we don't actually think that it'll fit as a dance steps. His footwork are smooth as fck, he loves freestyle that really shows his creativity in dancing and he's willing to do everything to make thier dance looks amazing even though it's kinda dangerous. I also love Mark coz when he dance it's full of energy and power. And taeyong also possess that but gracefully and in a smooth way. Taeyong is a choreographer but still stays humble about it and always thought the safety of his members first.
People tend to forget or dont know that Mark's major was practical dance. The fact that he's one of the view members that has a solo dance cover on NCT channel means he's one of the main dancers.
@@beaconlight4720 I wouldn't say it's unnatural, maybe a bit jarring on the eye? I mean this in the best way possible, but he definitely is eye-catching. His style is very unique
he’s an amazing dancer. I’ve never see him dancing before (I’m not a nctzen so this is not a biased comment whatsoever). he executed most of the moves almost perfectly and how he carries the choreography is amazing. he learned it seriously when he’s 18 or he just can’t dance before ? it seems like he have a natural dancer trait.
hi ! i don’t have any particular song or group to request, but i’d like to request any dance that is like super easy and has simple movements. i think it would be interesting to watch so we can see how little details can really elevate a dancer’s performance and differentiate a great dancer from an average one, even if the dance is easy or simple.
Finally, people are beginning to realise Taeyong’s dancing ability 🥺 He really is one of the most versatile dancers in the industry and he has amazing potential
@•Gacha May• Yes, Yuta is my bias and I see his potential in dancing, but Taeyong is better and I ain't gonna deny it. Yuta's dance style reminds me a lot of Itzy Ryujin's (Idk if u know who they are) But Taeyong is very flexible in terms of dance style while Yuta tends to keep his own. Yuta is definitely one of the best dancers, but Taeyong is just better. I think Yuta ties with Mark in terms of dance, but it's hard to tell because they have their own styles, techniques and strong points. Sorry for writing an essay btw ;-;
@•Gacha May• Yay! I'm a multistan too! It's nice to have someone that sees eye yong's dancing ato eye with me, and judging from a non - opinionated perspective (aka spitting straight facts without being biased). Yeah, Taeyong's dancing ability suits all era's because of how flexible it is. And I agree with the one on Haechan, his dancing ability is definitely underrated. And yeah, Itzy is amazing! I' glad there's loads of multistans, especially ones who like Gacha! (If you reply I probably won't reply back cuz i don't wanna waste ur time, unless u want me to reply!) :D
@•Gacha May• omg same! And it is remarkable how much he has improved. I really hope I can dance as well as him soon, since I dream to become a kpop idol. And I appreciate that this isn't a waste of time. I like seeing the diversity in the fandoms as well, and yes, I Stan like 50 groups as well lol. Do you have maybe a social media platform we could talk on perhaps? We can make a multistan chat group on Amino or something, if you have it, cuz it's kinda tiring talking like this on YT
for one thing he's second generation. His folks are musician/performers. being BORN into an environment gives him a comfort level that takes years for others to achieve....
WHY NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT YUTA I always thought he was one of the best dancer in NCT but he’s so underrated and he doesn’t have a lot of centers he’s quite often hide and I feel so bad for it!
I know!!! His style of dancing is probably one of my favorites. He looks soooo relaxed with his dancing, as if he could do that all day, but the next second you'll see him bustin' out the move.
Well I'm really happy for Mark and his progress because he used to really exaggerate every move and he was really sharp but now he has worked hard to be more fluid with his moves and that's honestly really inspiring. Never give up!
@@ΙωάνναΝικολαΐδου-ρ8λ Yes I know you said it with the right intentions, but I just wanted to point it out you know. People are saying Haechan is better then him and he doesn't deserve the main dancer position (no hate to Haechan, he is still lead dancer material). But like people only see Mark as the favored member with many subunits and good at rapping while he has many more talents but it's easily overlooked. But their opinions are clearly biased and don't look at the facts and that makes kinda mad ngl
Taeyongs hard work is really paying off and I couldn't be more proud! He went from not knowing how to dance at all to being a well established and respected dancer!
My favorite aspects of each members' dancing: Taeil has improved so much since his debut, and so many people fail to notice it, but he is really good. In a group full of strong dancers and consistently dance heavy choreo, I'm so genuinely proud of him for working so hard. I can sometimes tell he isn't the most comfortable with dancing as it isn't really his forte, but I get so happy whenever I watch him perform because you can see that he has worked at his dance skills since debut until now and there is an obvious improvement. (It's a good thing this wasn't a vocal analysis video because I would have done a way longer response) Johnny with his tall stature and occasionally extremely intimidating facial expressions make him stand out. He often times with catch my either because of how he's executing a move or simply because the move may make him stand out especially with the addition of his height. Taeyong was worked so hard on his dance training and I'm really proud of that. His presence and charisma can set the mood for an entire stage. He is able to switch between styles and is extremely versatile. He allows the concept and mood of the song to overtake him, which ends in facial expressions that are so intense that they look like they just came out of a Kdrama. Yuta is basically a cat and I mean this in the best way possible. He keeps his weight in the balls of his feet a lot of the time which allows him more freedom in changing directions, angles, and jumping steps or jumps in general. Additionally the way he holds himself is charismatic and sometimes he goes out looking like boyfriend material while other times he looks like he is going to beat you up but you would let him and then you'd say thank you afterwards. His duality is on point just like Taeyong's. Doyoung while he isn't the most experienced, he can be very charismatic onstage and that is what often catches my eye. Because he is able to utilize his facial expressions it can make up for where he is lacking in his dancing skills. (I want him to be more confident. You're doing great sweetie) Jaehyun is so unbelievably charismatic (and disrespectful) when he dances that it makes me want to scream sometimes. He is able to use that charisma to make moves his own and it makes him interesting to watch. Jungwoo has this inexplicable grace to him when he moves that makes him so interesting to watch. He went on hiatus and then came back as one of the giants. He may be close to Johnny's height but he is still baby... unless he's on stage performing. Jungwoo's execution of movements is clear and concise. Also, I can't be the only person wondering if he took either ballet or modern with how he moves. Mark is insane, but in the best way. Some people fail to realize it but he is an amazing dancer. He brings a certain level of power with each movement and that can change in a split second. And then the addition of his facial expressions is 10/10, would recommend. Haechan is probably one of the most elegant dancers in NCT. His movements can be wonderfully fluid when he wants them to be which makes him more versatile as a dancer. He and Mark have this attention to detail thing that I love because it allows them to consistently add their own individuality to the movement. in conclusion: *NCT 127 is just a bunch of talented boys. we stan.*
I think kick it wasn't really taeil's comfort of dance since they have so many styles. Taeil and everyone is such a good dancer. Nct is more like a dance group like there synchronization is crazy.
Haechan is really graceful, it's what I noticed the most and I'm not a dancer, but Jungwoo seems very fluid. I also noticed your points of Mark being more powerful. And Yuta is just like a combination of Mark and Haechan. Taeyong as the power, fluidity and elegance. So I'd say Taeyong Yuta Mark, Haechan & Jungwoo From my point of view.
that’s always how i’ve rated their dancing too!! i’m not a dancer either but that’s what i find most enjoyable to watch, although all of them are amazing dancers
i wish yuta got more opportunities to freestyle and make his own solo dance videos like taeyong. yuta has alot of natural skill and talent but he doesnt get to show it.
y’all are talking about different members, but let’s just stop for a sec and appreciate the talents of all our boys and how effortlessly and flawlessly they work together as a group
About Taeyong “He’s at the point of skills where he doesn’t just execute steps, *but to put more flavors to it”* I strongly aggree, I always analyze all NCT’s member dance before & what I notice the most is, how Taeyong move his head, while other just follow the dance step, he makes it more creative with coordinating his moves with his head movements (sorry in advance for incorrect dancing terms, English is not my native language) Head movement is important for a dancer, you’re a good dancer if you can coordinate all of your body parts, and Taeyong is always do that with his head For example, the moves in 1:51 - 2:02 look at how he moves his head compared to other that only let their head the way that is. His head movement is so satisfying to look at & well coordinated with all of his movements. And also in SuperM Jopping, when the part “put your hands in the air let me see you bounce” Only Taeyong that move his head & in my opinion, that adds more flavor to his dances.
Cactus Folk agree! There are always special details to his dance, so happy that some people finally realise that. His creative input is the reason why I see him as the main dancer of NCT, he does not only learn the choreography but sort of inhales it and makes it better
xxushouldnot And not to mention how his dance teacher once told him he’d never make it being kpop idol because of his lacked of skill Look where he is now, one of top tier dancer in kpop industry The fact that he casted because of his *looks* But he can make it to the top by being one of the *best dancer & the best rapper* Now, he’s a *leader, visual, main dancer, main rapper* He’s the backbone of NCT He worked his way up & not just because of his look I really admire him so much because of this.
Cactus Folk I still can believe that he didn’t knew what SM YG and so on were. And now, like you said, look at him. sm is so lucky with this talent. That’s one of the many things I love about him, he always works harder and tries to improve in every little detail. He is so so so aspiring and invests so much energy and time, I am so happy that people notice it
Strongly agreed!and the “New Thangs New Thangs” with his hands, also in SuperM Can’t Stand the Rain...i completely fell for him in that song before I get to know who he is. I’ve only heard about Taeyong is high visual, awesome rapper and great dancer but didn’t actually know his stage presence and charm is at different level!
mark really has some sharp moves but also perfectly combined with hiphop grooves, and thats why you feel like dancing with mark when u look at him dance
Taeyong is a well deserved. He has his own style and that's what i see is gracefulness. Sharp and clean. But i like Haechan style too. He looks relaxed but still has strengthness
I am so glad you put Taeyong and Mark at 1 and 2 respectively ! I see so many people and Nctzens putting them down in terms of dance skills. Some people really like to put Taeyong down regarding everything he does and many people don't seem to accept Mark as a Main Dancer which is just sad :(
same. Nctzens especially tend to downplay Taeyong's talents A LOT . They really don't understand how lucky NCT are to have. He's such an overall powerhouse and they take him for granted
Taeyong is truly an underrated dancer within the nctzen fandom. Many nctzens would put him down for his dancing saying he’s not that great/overrated but I’m really glad that professionals think that Taeyong is good. His technique and style + his stage charisma really carries through and is an eye catcher for non-fans who casually watch their performances. I would think that Yuta and Mark are on par in ranking. Jaehyun is not bad too but he does come off stiff at times. His shoulder moves are very nice though - during his centre part of the dance break at the end, my eyes just keep getting drawn to him. Haechan is also very smooth and has good flow, but at times where power is needed, he tends to underdance. I definitely agree that Jungwoo is a great dancer and never really mentioned when people mention NCT’s dance line. In general within NCT 127, I think the rankings can vary from person to person but we can’t dispute that Taeyong is the best dancer in 127. He definitely deserves the top position.
He isn’t overrated but Taeyong is definitely not underrated. He has the most dance covers out of everyone. He has the most solo material outside of Ten. He gets the most center parts.
@@babyboo4306 they meant underrated as a dancer also dance covers doesn't really mean anything he had only solo photoshoot in his entire career also sm never ever promotes his solo stuff while they do that for other members
Some say he is a great dancer. Some say he is looking for ten. Some say he is canadian. All we knoe is, he is Mark Lee and he sings with his Markrophone
i'm also a trained dancer (in a completely unrelated classical style lol), but based on what i strive for in my own performances in terms of execution and the ever-important style, my top 2 would be taeyong and mark as well. mark's lower limb angles are so clean, and i appreciate them. he's also like an energizer bunny; every move is high-powered but not overdone, and he lets none of it show on his face. just a cool dude. taeyong's dynamics are unmatched in the group (love how you pointed out the way that he almost sluggishly/loosely does that one section... i wish they'd all done it that way!!), and he adds a unique flavor to everything he does that really makes him stand out the most to me.
And what’s your opinion on Jungwoo ? Because i’m also a trained dancer (in hip hop) and i would actually put Jungwoo, Haechan and Taeyong in the top 3 (even if that could be shocking to some) but I feel like overall none of the dancers in 127 really master Hip-Hop like that cause there’s a lack of the basics in their dancing whether it is in choreographies or freestyles. But when it comes to freestyles which is a VERY important part of hip-hop dancing, I actually feel like Jungwoo and Haechan got the most potential because of their musicality and flow.
@@e.l3046 Have you seen Taeyong's freestyles? He has a lot on NCT's dance channel. I'm a hip-hop trained dancer (along with contemporary/modern) as well and I love watching Taeyong's freestyles, his musicality is crazy and paired with his insane body control, it always makes it so interesting to watch. He has a way of making his moves look fluid but stiff at the same time. I agree Haechan and Jungwoo have a lot of potential. Haechan has so much versatility in different styles and honestly, I think he could be next level if he could be trained in other styles of dance
sharkie I have seen his freestyles and I’m not going to lie and say I’m a big fan of them, my problem with them are that Taeyong has an habit of focusing on only hitting the beats and forgot about dancing which is something that has been quite popular in the hip hop world because of dancers like Les Twins, etc... That habit of focusing primarily on hitting the beats makes that Taeyong forgets about his flow or “dancing” in general which makes him overly stiff and sometimes uncomfortable to look at since his body is contracted so much to hit the beats accurately. He has a lot of potential tho.
E.L Have you seen Marks freestyle? He is trained in SOPA as hiphop major. And many dancer say he is best when it comes to footwork and groove. Even in the video they said no one can beat Mark when it comes to hiphop.
DoT dOt Mark has definitely more established groove and flow compared to Taeyong, so that makes him better at hip hop freestyles but he lacks technicality. Hip Hop is really complicated because you have to find the perfect balance when free-styling.
the fact that Taeyong entered this industry knowing a little to nothing yet he became among the most acknowledged talented artist, in this case -- dancing, to this date. There's a lot that passion, hard-work, and dedication can give
I tend to underestimate Mark a lot and I love how he proves to me time and time again that he’s very underrated when it comes to his dancing. His knees are so powerful and sharp, idek how to describe it but he hit every single beat on that dance break. Outstanding

Johnny and Jaehyun were my original biases until the others started being disrespectful and stealing me

I notice especially for the kicking part in "Bruce Lee". He has to lean down more than the others to make his kick match to the height of the others' kicks. Our Johnny has been working hard ;;

But SM just put him in the back (during the formation)and have like probably 5 sec of screen time like seriously

Taeyong worked so hard tbh you can tell. The fact that he started dancing at 18 is just incredible 🥺
Taeyongs hard work is really paying off and I couldn't be more proud! He went from not knowing how to dance at all to being a well established and respected dancer!
My favorite aspects of each members' dancing:
Taeil has improved so much since his debut, and so many people fail to notice it, but he is really good. (It's a good thing this wasn't a vocal analysis video because I would have done a way longer response)
Johnny with his tall stature and occasionally extremely intimidating facial expressions make him stand out.
You're doing great sweetie)
Jaehyun is so unbelievably charismatic (and disrespectful) when he dances that it makes me want to scream sometimes.

Lizzy 4419
Tbh I can see why you think that, but Taeil fits many genres and he slayed this. 😂
im late but yes jungwoo took ballet and even won ballet (and other) competition before joining sm
So I'd say
Taeyong
Yuta
Mark, Haechan & Jungwoo
From my point of view.
that’s always how i’ve rated their dancing too!! i’m not a dancer either but that’s what i find most enjoyable to watch, although all of them are amazing dancers

I love how Mark's dance fits well with the music in overall ranking part
I Just love how Yuta is being treated properly as a main dancer :(
He was main dancer before Mark :'(
About Taeyong “He’s at the point of skills where he doesn’t just execute steps, *but to put more flavors to it”*
I strongly aggree, I always analyze all NCT’s member dance before & what I notice the most is, how Taeyong move his head, while other just follow the dance step, he makes it more creative with coordinating his moves with his head movements
(sorry in advance for incorrect dancing terms, English is not my native language)
Head movement is important for a dancer, you’re a good dancer if you can coordinate all of your body parts, and Taeyong is always do that with his head
For example, the moves in 1:51 - 2:02 look at how he moves his head compared to other that only let their head the way that is. His head movement is so satisfying to look at & well coordinated with all of his movements.
And also in SuperM Jopping, when the part “put your hands in the air let me see you bounce”
Only Taeyong that move his head & in my opinion, that adds more flavor to his dances.
Cactus Folk agree! There are always special details to his dance, so happy that some people finally realise that. His creative input is the reason why I see him as the main dancer of NCT, he does not only learn the choreography but sort of inhales it and makes it better
xxushouldnot And not to mention how his dance teacher once told him he’d never make it being kpop idol because of his lacked of skill
Look where he is now, one of top tier dancer in kpop industry
The fact that he casted because of his *looks*
But he can make it to the top by being one of the *best dancer & the best rapper*
Now, he’s a *leader, visual, main dancer, main rapper*
He’s the backbone of NCT
He worked his way up & not just because of his look
I really admire him so much because of this.
Agree with the jopping point too ! :D
I think the same, TaeYong has more to offer than what's on show... yet he's already at this level !!!
mark really has some sharp moves but also perfectly combined with hiphop grooves, and thats why you feel like dancing with mark when u look at him dance
YUTA AND JUNGWOO IM SO PROUD,,,,
They barely have lines so seeing that they're appreciated for their dance it's so great!!
Yuta makes the dance look easy, relaxed and EFFORTLESS which is why he is one of my top picks.
Taeyong is a well deserved. He has his own style and that's what i see is gracefulness. Sharp and clean. But i like Haechan style too. He looks relaxed but still has strengthness
props to mark lee being one hell of a good rapper and dancer, plus he plays the guitar and he actually has really clean falsettos y'all
Taeyong main dancer of NCT indeed.
Ikr, Jealousy is a disease
@@lya4201 Agree. Hopefully, in the years to come, his talents and skills will receive the recognition they deserve.
Why so true
Mark can really dance though
I didn’t know those two got a lot of hate
Actually thought they were always praised for their skills
I swear Taeyong's gonna be leading the Kpop dancing generation
He is leading it imho
i think that would be ten but taeyong is also super good
@@Meryem_HM I forgot about TEN, it's gonna be close. TEN is my muse, no one can touch him.....
Taeyong just really shine in this category, He has this "You can't get your eyes off me don't you" vibe !
taeyong is just so unreal even his dance look so animated.. in perfect way.
i never realized how good of a dancer mark is. that boy can literally do everything
He definitely deserves the top position.
people who says he is overrated are just jealous and doesn't know anything about dancing at all
He isn’t overrated but Taeyong is definitely not underrated.
Taeyong is truly an underrated...dancer? within the nctzen fandom? seriously?
Underrated? Seriously? Everyone knows him as one of the best dancers in nct😩
Mark lee is truly amazing! He's the epitome of an all-rounder
That's exactly why rumors around the world say that Mark is absolutely fully capable💚
Some say he is a great dancer.
Some say he is looking for ten.
Some say he is canadian.
All we knoe is, he is Mark Lee and he sings with his Markrophone
He's mOrk
His hair color is black and yellow so he is Mork Bee fo sho!!
You guys :)
periodt, taeyong is the main dancer for a reason, taeyong king, taeyong world domination
Taeyong is the best dancer in NCT 127
Taeyong not just a good dancer but also a choreographer
No wonder, taeyong and mark are the main dancer 💁♀️
I would like to see you evaluate Oneus “a song written easily“ or DKB “Sorry Mama“, I love your videos ♡︎
Yaaaaas
Or oneus lit instead ❤
The taste I luv it !!! STAN TALENT 😉
I also stan DKB so it'd be fun watching an analysis of them dancing :)
i'm also a trained dancer (in a completely unrelated classical style lol), but based on what i strive for in my own performances in terms of execution and the ever-important style, my top 2 would be taeyong and mark as well. mark's lower limb angles are so clean, and i appreciate them. he's also like an energizer bunny; every move is high-powered but not overdone, and he lets none of it show on his face. just a cool dude. taeyong's dynamics are unmatched in the group (love how you pointed out the way that he almost sluggishly/loosely does that one section... i wish they'd all done it that way!!), and he adds a unique flavor to everything he does that really makes him stand out the most to me.
Outstanding
Mark is seriously one of the most talented person I've ever seen, periodt.
haechan was dancing some parts that werent his😂
He is an ace, right?
3:01 taeyong looks so good here even with an eye of someone with no background on dance he really does a great job of executing it
