Just to be clear, BMI and Body fat percentage are two whole different things. BMI is calculated using height and weight, while body fat percentage is measured using the metal bioimpedance sensors of the scale, as well as the weight. These 2 metrics point out to 2 different things.

Its not really the weight data on its own that could be an issue, your name, email address, password, date of birth and location data. Even if you really trust a brand to be responsible and not misuse the information, they are bound by laws of their operating location. Eufy is owned by Anker which is a Chinese company and their local government could request the data for national security purposes and the brand would be obliged to comply. Another very real and more likely scenario is a data breach. After the brand is hacked and all their information is leaked, it can be sold on the dark web. There have been many of these data breaches from reputable companies such as Equifax, Canva, Zynga and MyFitnessPal. Strava a fitness-tracking app revealed sensitive information about US military bases and personnel movement and published it online. The everyday persons data is probably not this sensitive, but its still your data. I would recommend using a different email than your everyday email and using a different name and a long unique password that is not used to log in to any other service or website, a password manager makes this easy. Is there a weight limit for before it stops giving you all the extra info than just weight, I brought a pair of scales and once u go over a certain weight it only give weight reading and nothing else
Great question. The Eufylife app is advertised to sync with both Google fit sand Apple health. I have not tested this but I imagine it would work fine. It does not sync with MyFitnessPal or Fitbit from what I can gather. I hope that helps

Imo the measurements were fairly consistent. Bear in mind that throughout the day the weight can change quite a bit - at night you are heaviest and in the morning (in theory) you should be lightest, Also some users reported issues with the scales being inconsistent if using on carpet, to get accurate results, you need to be on a hard floor. I pushed the button on the back to put in to KG's and weighs in Kgs, however the next time i step on them it reverts backs to LBS ? I dont want to have to flip it over everytime i weigh myself...Why does it keep reverting back to lbs ?

The scale "wakes up" when you use it and then the bluetooth is on. Its not on all the time only when its being used. As far as I am aware there is no way to turn the bluetooth off

Good question, I would say they are decent estimates but it does depend on your body composition or type. People who are very muscular for example may often be incorrectly categorised as overweight due to the large body mass. For most people, the estimates should be fairly realistic. its not 100 percent consistent all the time. Some times you can weigh twice in a row and get a different result (but not by much). Usually this is not the case however and most of the time its fine. Its best to weigh in at the same time every day as well for most accurate results, apparently you are heaviest right before bed which is when I do it

i have used it and it is very inaccurate, the moment you muscle up and gain some weight it shows body fat increases and the moment you loose weight it shows you are loosing fat 😂

@@fahrness Ah yep that doesnt sound right. For the Eufy scale I did not have this problem. Another option you have is the Xioami smart scale

Not sure if you're still having this issue but it's the App. You need to create your profile and set it to metric.

@@frostyizak2649 i used a 15kg dumbbell of mine to test the accuracy, came up with 21kgs the first time then i tested again and got 24kgs.
