These are some of my favorite videos from you. They are so informative and I really trust your opinion. Thank you so much for all you for this community!
Wow! I'm the first commeter and like. 😃 We're doing Ancient history next year. I've bookmarked a couple of these titles for next year. Thanks for the review. I liked the first video you did at the beginning of the unit as well.
Have you ever thought of putting together some sort of curriculum that shows what you read for unit studies? Or do you have anything like that? I am awful at that but would be really interested in what you do.
That's a great idea! Though I haven't done it yet, I think I should write it up. Currently I have several 'How to put together a unit study' for various subject areas. That's as far as I've gotten.
Are you familiar with the Evan Moor History Pockets? They have one on Ancient Greece as well as many others. Great material for using with lapbooks and I'm sure with your creative brain many other uses
For the written narration, does your son do copy work or his own writing? I just want to know how do you approach the written narration part for you 11 years old. Thank you for a great video. I would appreciate your response.
Homeschooled Around the World thank you 🙏 for the written narration, he mostly does it on his own with original compositions. If it’s copywork or dictation, I get it from the curriculum.

Yes! We've had them for other units and I find them to be great resources. I haven't gotten them for our Ancient Rome or Greece units though.
Do you allow your kids to do quiet activities when you read aloud to them? I love your videos! Thank you for all your wisdom!

Great review! We also must stay away from the library when we are working on school. LOL
It's true!! Derails all our best laid plans and units.
