It's got the swagger of Motley Crue with the modern hooks and melody of Taking Back Sunday. You can hear The Used influence too. Fuckin' crazy that this aged so well haha. Thanks for uploading!
Ronnie and Max were into Blink 182, Robert was into classic rock and metal, the Money brothers were into Nu Metal. Influences were all over the place but it worked out.
@@ecikitten BRO IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD I legit have to stop myself when I listen to this EP and DIYLF they're the all time favourites on my list HOLY SHIT
Thanks for keeping this uploaded. God, I wish this lineup of ETF had more time together. In my opinion this is Ronnie’s best era of writing. The other band members justifiably kicked him out of the band, that along with his incarceration seemed to make him quite bitter and it bled all over his future material, at least for the next few years. By this time my taste in music changed and I thought Falling in Reverse was too corny for me. I was hopeful when “the drug in me is you” single came out but other than that I couldn’t vibe with anything. I’m glad eventually Ronnie and the members of ETF made amends and even toured together, but damn I just wish it all turned out differently. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard these demos and they still hold up today. I love hearing the creative changes made to the songs that were on the forthcoming EP and album, which were produced so well. Ever member of the band added their own flare that meshed so well in the studio. This particular lineup could have made some insanely good music as the years went on but I have to be grateful for the songs they did make together, and the memories with friends listening to them.

The music really did die the day he walked away. It’s actually insane how surface level The lyrics became after Ronnie left. Just a profound lack of creativity. And it’s weird because Craig Mabbitt’s solo stuff doesn’t suffer from the same problems that the Craig led ETF does. His solo stuff is actually pretty dang good. The Money brothers also create excellent music after leaving ETF. It’s a real lighting in a bottle kinda thing.
It’s because Craig has full control of his side project, but in ETF it’s not just him making the calls. The other members have a say on what ETF should sound like, and who knows, maybe the their record label has a say on what they make
@@MusicManiaCovers A lot of big bands in the post-harcore/metalcore genre seems to be doing this. I think they understand they can't just make the same kind of album over and over again because that would get boring for both them and their fans so they try to evolve it somewhat and that might work well for mainstream crowds but not so much for their fans.
Early escape the fate was miles ahead of their competition I swear
i still dont think i've ever found anything as beautiful as this

Very subconsciously, I got very into Motley Crue a while after being obsessed with DIYLF.
Ronnie and Max were into Blink 182, Robert was into classic rock and metal, the Money brothers were into Nu Metal. Influences were all over the place but it worked out.
@@Andy_187Only Monte was in the band at this time, the other Guitarist was Omar
chariot of fire version with screams is sick
still obsessed with this oh my god dude
Woow I havent heard this EP in ages. Takes me back to 08/09
My life will never be the same for finding this. Thank you lol
This was ronnie at his prime
The guitar drums vocals and structure easily just blows away so many other bands
20:35? Wtf what alternate universe am I in? I've been a fan for a while and never knew of this track. It's probably my favorite song by them now.
It slaps, too bad theres no high quality version of it anywhere
LMAO whoops...it's all a year or more ago. My bad😂
It did not release
Watch the live it's crazy
I've been putting off listening to this ever since dying is your latest fashion, I'm feeling complete af rn
If things turned out differently, I swear EtF would have taken over the fucking world 🤘🌎
very true
Best EP to ever exist....
Thanks for keeping the link up, these demos are awesome raw versions of these songs.

thank you so much ! this one is hard to find
Wow. This truth in cliche is way better. Which says a lot because the normal version is great
The guitar riff 10:01 makes my heart drop every time
Monte Money is a beast on guitar!
Wow Make Up was a shock because its the most 2000s pop punk thing we will ever hear from Escape the Fate or Falling in Reverse
Thanks for keeping this uploaded.

… Oh my god, I have the remedy for love
I struck the glass and broke the bones inside my fist, but I'm okay
I cannot change you, you'll never change
I never would expect to break this in the end
Something so profound, something you won't expect
Take this scripture like a picture and wear it around your neck
The sky it opens up
Don't get swallowed by the flames
What's mine is yours and yours is mine so take me away
You hear the sounds, to carry out
There's no sympathy for the dead
It swells and I, was never the same
There's no sympathy for the dead
We dance like zombies do in the middle of the rain
We see the stones falling from the sky (on fire)
The blinding light beaming from your eyes (our desire)
Life has died, yet we're still alive and down below
A sea of damned crashing like a tidal wave
I cannot change you, you'll never change
I never would expect to break this in the end
I can't breathe
Wake up from this nightmare that I'm in
Dive into a holy river and wash away my sins
As I reach (sanctified) the surface of the water now
I will breathe and burn out my eyes
You hear the sounds, to carry out
There's no sympathy for the dead
It swells and I, was never the same
There's no sympathy for the dead
We dance like zombies do in the middle of the rain
We see the stones falling from the sky (on fire)
The blinding light beaming from your eyes (our desire)
Life has died, yet we're still alive and down below
A sea of damned crashing like a tidal wave
… So take the medicines to quench the pain we have
And walk until the end, until you've reached the sun
A hundred thousand wings, soaring through the sky
At intense speeds, we can't catch with our eyes
You hear the sounds of a third carried out
Just wait (just wait)
You hesitate

I want this on cd
And why did you used the etf logo with Craig and not the logo that when Ronnie is still on the band? Doesn't make sense.
Dope.

I feel like the music was pretty solid from DIYLF to Ungrateful, after that it's hit or miss.
