By far Agubond is my favorite deck in the game. Your original Agubond deck profile helped me get into the Digimon tcg and I’m so glad to see you cover it once again
Kinda curious if you would use the r/g agumon from ex8 it’s a generic plus 2k and searches all digimon lvl 4 down in the deck and if so what agumon would get swapped?
I tried running Promo Agunimon + AncientGreymon combo to play out more Tamers, and I threw in some Analog Youth as well. Helped me a lot with early aggression and accelerating my win condition. I'll give your build a try.
I'm curious on your thoughts of the BT14 Skullgreymon. I would think being able to use the deletion effect consistently and play out an agu with rush would be great for win con. I'm also really glad you made this because I have been struggling with finding something for my list for a while now
I had the same thought. It still meets all the criteria as metalgreymon in this deck and is a WAAAAAY better card imo . I ran agubond in bt14-15 format and skullgreymon from bt14 was mvp for me. I’ve won games with swinging for 2 checks with promo grey, digi into skullgrey to delete opponent and itself, play an agu from trash, and rush for game.
It seems like we went completely different ways here. I actually play more searcher rookies and don’t have as many DP inheritables. Instead I opted for a more rookie Rush style and I am running more Greymons. 4 of the white one, 4 of the Memory gain one, 2 of the security attack one, and 2 of the BT 14 one. Weird perhaps but I am running more rookie support and can apply a ton of pressure early on. I am not running the Metalgreymon Ace but instead 4 Skullgreymon. It gives me removal and a floating effect into an Agumon that gains rush. I can then Digivolve that Agumon into an Agubond to close out matches. Edit, No Crimson Blaze? I run two of them.
If the secret Greymon were Red, I'd say yes, but with him being white, I'm not a huge fan of it. I considered it, but it just doesn't do enough in my opinion.
to keep the deck purely red aggro i also threw in flame memory boost for the extra aggro when you do go into greymon and bt14 greymon is pretty good to when it swings it gets a 2k buff and gain a memory if you have a tai in play. i feel like keep turn and pushing as many bodies as possible doing more than one check makes the deck scary like ancientgreymon
Wouldn’t BT12 MetalGreymon be better than the BT14 one? Since it’s not an ACE you don’t risk the overflow and it has the same digivolution stipulation(Can digivolve from a level 4 w/Greymon in name)
@DigiSean37 well I think about how the main removal is the bt17 greymon, which outs imperial but there's no further follow up and your opponent has 2 lvl 4s. You'd need multiple greymons Otherwise I was trying this deck on DCGO, definitely fun, but I wonder if it's not consistent enough with only 4 searchers. Thoughts?
I've tried bt6 agu in like 20 variants of this deck and for whatever reason the sec+1 just never really matters. I can't really explain why, it's just so rarely the 1 damage that closes out games. I could see using it if you play more Tai's to spam them and net memory tho (i usually play 8-9 Tai but this build has 11 so maybe it's ok)
BT6 Agu doesn't really do anything since I only Bond when it's lethal. You can't really do a Bond value play early with BT6 Tai due to the massive ACE overflow when it blows up end of turn. No room for baby Tai and it doesn't really do anything for the deck. BT17 greymon plays your tamers for free, and you're normally playing more tamers when passing turn.

That's a great suggestion! I'd replace the promo Agus

I was going to ask the same question.

I ended up swapping out the Metals for Skulls. Skull is much better. I just forgot it was a card lol
@@DigiSean37 oh sick lol. I felt that cause tbh I totally forgot promo agu and bt14 tai was a thing too. Thanks for the list again, bond go brr

I run two of them.
I have since switched to Skulls. I agree. They're better than Metal. I legit just forgot it was a card
Hwy you think throwing in owen tamer good in this deck and flame memory?
would red scramble be worth including in this deck? wouldn't know what to take out though
If the secret Greymon were Red, I'd say yes, but with him being white, I'm not a huge fan of it. I considered it, but it just doesn't do enough in my opinion.
Was wondering if you’d update this list! Love this deck and the new bond is amazing

Did you try Lightning Joust at all? The DP boost and possible extra check on the promo greymon early is super nice early on.
You won't get the extra check the majority of the time after like turn 2-3. Not really worth a slot imo
The BT14 skullgreymon is SO good in this. Did you try it and not think it got enough value?
I actually forgot it was a card lol I have since swapped out the Metals for Skulls.
I don't think we ever got that promo Greymon over here, lmao. Are there any good substitutes for it?
It was a box topper for 1.0 and 1.5. It was also reprinted in RB1. You should have access to it.
I like the idea behind most card choices. I’d just swap metalgrey ace for bt14 skullgreymon.
Wouldn’t BT12 MetalGreymon be better than the BT14 one? Since it’s not an ACE you don’t risk the overflow and it has the same digivolution stipulation(Can digivolve from a level 4 w/Greymon in name)
It doesn't have removal built in. I ended up swapping them out for BT14 SkullGreymons
How is the match with stuffs like magna x and angels
Magna X has to outpace you. You can easily clear their Magna Xs because of how huge you can get and WarG warping.
Does this deck lose hard to imperial? Seems like there's not much counter play to an unsuspended digimon with partition
How would that be an issue?
@DigiSean37 well I think about how the main removal is the bt17 greymon, which outs imperial but there's no further follow up and your opponent has 2 lvl 4s. You'd need multiple greymons
Otherwise I was trying this deck on DCGO, definitely fun, but I wonder if it's not consistent enough with only 4 searchers. Thoughts?
You know what I'm dumb bc I forgot you can just raid in to the partition digimon to avoid it
Any reason you don’t use BT06 Agu or baby Tai?
Bt06 agu doesnt give DP to swing over big blockers and theres no room for baby tai because the dp tai is better.
@ fair. Is your pfp the Arkham Knight?
I've tried bt6 agu in like 20 variants of this deck and for whatever reason the sec+1 just never really matters. I can't really explain why, it's just so rarely the 1 damage that closes out games. I could see using it if you play more Tai's to spam them and net memory tho (i usually play 8-9 Tai but this build has 11 so maybe it's ok)
@@latitude990 I was trying to tune the list I was testing to take advantage of certain interactions with BT06. Baby Tai being one.
